But the experience was strange and weird. 1. Tammy told me she majored in mathematics but somehow continued to say she "miscalculated" my total. I can understand my total changing with designs, but constantly changing the price is weird. And constantly mentioning "I miscalculated" while talking about being a mathematics college graduate just doesn't make sense. 2. She continued to mention costs and rent going up every time the price was adjusted. I understand that, but I'm the customer. Not the owner, so with all due respect - that doesn't concern me. 3. My hands were messy with dried powder and she continued to say "oh it'll come off with soap and water!" How about being clean? 4. Then she asked me questions back to back but said "I don't share personal business" when I asked her the same in return - just in casual conversation. 5. She was in a rush and kept mentioning how she had other customers. I'm assuming this was why the dried powder was left on my hands. 6. She told me she needed my help holding up the gel machine - I didn't mind as long as the design stayed intact but at the same time - I'm the customer. Not a staff member. On top of that she told me "no talking" while I was holding the machine as if I'm a child. VERY rude. Lastly, I'm not sure if she was trying to get over on me with the constant "miscalculations" and mentioning of "prices going up" but overall I left feeling off. I don't mind paying for a service but when a service provider who is "great at math" constantly "miscalculates" prices, it doesn't seem genuine. 7. A customer walked in letting her know she texted her. She says you're Amy right? Tammy says "Yes I'm Amy" ..like huh? What was the lie for? I'm not sure what's going on here overall but I left feeling really strange. Just a heads up to anyone interested - you will love your nails but the experience was trash. She gave me a "gift" on my way out - which was a cute box with dust all over it and something in it. I'm not sure what it was and I really don't think it was a customer appreciation gift. I think it was just an incentive for me to come back because she kept mentioning how her prices are cheaper than other nail places. I support women in business - always! But this felt like a hustler trying to run a sales gimmick and that's the last thing I want to feel as a customer. Overall great nails. But the interpersonal skills need work.

Please be prepared that if anything's wrong, their fake smiles, will turn into a scowling as they argue you down- just to be right and to deny any wrongdoing versus being courteous and correcting the problem! The service was unprofessional, our services were left unfinished, yet we were still quoted full price! When our concerns were raised, the staff became even more argumentative instead of trying to resolve the issue. Henry was the only technician that I've seen consistently professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff skills and service fell far below expectations. I used to recommend this salon, but after this experience I no longer do. Terrible attitude from the younger nail tech and one of the more mature nail techs. She had a full-blown fit and refused to correct her work. In my opinion their unprofessional attitudes take the whole vibe down! I've since found a new replacement and wonderful salon that is welcoming, peaceful, and consistently does beautiful work. The work doesn't last long here, and even the job that is done is so so. My mom was making fun of me because of how my nails are all different lengths and shape. LOL but the lady also let me leave with the acrylic or whatever all over my hands. She told me to just go home and wash my hands really well. I just don't think that's good service. Obviously, two days later... not worth $112. Got a gel mani and callous spa pedicure with gel. As you can see, the toe had a layer peeled off. So, yeah. I will continue to the next salon! People are super sweet here, though. I feel bad leaving a bad review, but I have to be honest.
