Today was my first time getting a pedicure. I'm not your typical gal who likes to spend money on things like this. But given that I'll be graduating soon I went for it. I looked for different locations in my area but this one was open and close to me. I called the number to ask if they had availability. The lady said she was able to take me in. Upon my arrival it was just me and another customer getting her nails done. The place is not fancy or colorful but the quality of work makes up for it. Once I sat down on the chair the lady began to fill the feet tub with warm water. After a few minutes she massaged my leg and feet. To then get prepared for the gel pedicure. The whole process was great. She got a few phone calls and she set appointments while doing my nails but she did a great job overall. I enjoyed the treatment and my feet look good for being the first time. I paid $30. I'm not sure if that's the average for gel pedicures but it was worth it. read more

I went when they first opened they were busy and did a decent job for acrylics, went a couple of times, at that time I had, and still do, have a problem with people who immigrate here and don't learn the language. And I find it to be extremely rude to talk their language to each other about their clients and you have no idea what there saying. So, I quit going!! Recently, we took my Mom in for her birthday and got her a gift certificate. We are now doing Gel nails. Her nails peeled off in two weeks, mine in three and a half (but I push mine as long as I can, because I really can't afford them) my sister put these on for me. Anyway, everything seemed to go good. I went back and had another set put on, they stayed on till I went in for my third set and they were very strong. Well I had the third set put on and because the gel wouldn't come off after soaking twice. She to her dremel and proceeded to file them off. Once they were off she put on the new set of Gel nails. They were pretty I was happy, till the next morning. From the filing of my nails they were so thin and weak, the Gel didn't even help strengthen them. They started bending with everything thing I did, finally they started ripping. At least with the gel it doesn't hurt like with acrylics. I waited outside Monday morning for two hours. The sign said they would open at 9 - 7 pm. Nobody ever showed up all day, I checked in the afternoon also. Tuesday I was there at 9:15, and walked in with two fingers taped to protect them. I explained what happened they wanted to re-do them and put acrylics on. I refused I did not want them I wanted the Gel. Asking them why they weren't lasting like the last ones. (Well I figured that one out later.) so they put some acrylic on one and glue on a couple more to strengthen them right on top of the Gel. Then proceeded to put 3 more coats of color and another coat of clear of the Gel with the light. It's now Thursday, I have been gluing my nails and putting more top coats on them. The original ones broke again and 3 others. Thank God for Gorilla super glue with the brush. I been brushing on a layer at a time like polish, waiting for it to dry. Then a like buffing with a glass file to even it out and of course another top coat. It's working!! You can't tell. Plus they raised their price by $7, I wouldn't have had them do them had I noticed that. I will never go back there again. They're to expensive and they still talk behind your back. I don't know if my Mom will finish using her gift certificate or not. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE. THE Galleria on Tyler has a much more cheaper and professional nail salon, by the Fast Fix it Store, upstairs at the Forever 21 end. read more

It was my first time going to this place and I just needed to get my acrylics removed. I decided to go there because it's close to my house. When I got there, they told me I would have to wait 30 min, so I waited. Then when the lady helped me, they wanted to charge me $20 just to remove the nails. I said "that is a little pricey, other places charge me $10". I was honest and told the lady I was going to step outside and call my nail salon to see if they could take me in, but I would come back. My nail place told me it would also be a 30 min wait, so I decided to just go back in a do them at the nail club since I was already there. I went to sit back down and the nail lady walked away and went to hide in the back. I told a guy (who said was the owner) that I did want my nails removed. He looked at me and said "we can't do them for you, you left and we already booked someone." I said "how could you have booked someone in less than a minute if I told the lady I was just going to step out for a bit to call and that I would come back". He said well she took that as you leaving. I said there's no way you guys booked in less than a minute and this place is empty, and it takes less than 15 minutes to remove acrylics. There was only one customer there. I told the man (owner) that this was bad customer service and he said he didn't care. I asked if he was the owner and he said yes, so I asked for his name and said he wasn't going to give it to me and that he didn't have to. He said I had a bad attitude but I only got upset because they chose not to remove my nails because I wanted to call another nail place to see if they can take me in. They got butt hurt. After I left I waited outside the nail salon for 20 min and no customers came in, so they lied about booking an appointment and that's why they couldn't help me. They were really rude and treated me horrible, especially the guy. No wonder that place is always empty. But anyways, I ended up going to my nail salon and they were able to get me in, they also charged me $10 to remove my nails. So I'm glad they turned me away because I ended up paying less and they didn't treat me bad like at the nail club. read more

The pedicure was average, the water temperature was comfortable and they did a thorough job to my satisfaction. The reason I am giving a 5 star review is because of the nail art. Kayla was the manicurist and she did a beautiful job. This is the first time I've gotten nail art on my fingernails and I am very happy with the results. It's been about a week since this review, and one acrylic broke off entirely (my fault). The polish began bubbling up underneath on multiple nails, as though they weren't completely dry or something before being sealed with a top coat. But, when I went in to repair my nail, I offered to pay but they let me do it for free because I only had debit on me. Of course, I plan on paying for the repair service when I next go in. I am giving them a four because I noticed once the nail technician finished someone's else feet - I didn't see her wash her hands. Than when she started with my nails I was worried that she didn't use clean utensils so that made me a little nervous but I really needed my nail fixed. Overall average nail shop, they need to talk to investors because they need an upgrade or new chairs (they have office desk chairs for customers) and a serious remodel. I walked in yesterday and made an appointment for the following day (it was much too loud for me that day). I got there as soon as they opened (9:00 Saturday) and was the first person seen. The lady who opened the salon asked what I wanted done (a full acrylic set ballerina/coffin style) and cut my natural nails and gave me nail polish swatches to look through while I waited for Peter to come in. I showed him the shape I wanted and he studied the picture and listened to my concerns for fake nails (these are my first acrylics and I'm a groomer) he took everything into account, even rounding off my pinkies for work. He is amazing at shaping nails! I will say that if you want fast nails this may not be your place (though we were having a lovely conversation that may have caused the wait for others, though i didn't mind) but for the quality, experience and price it was definitely worth it. They do allow children in the salon but only in the seating area. They send you home with the files and bit they used on your nails so things have changed a bit since previous reviews. read more

I have come here multiple times. Last time Peter did my nails and I tipped over 20% as I ALWAYS do, even for a mediocre job. When I came back to get the gel taken off so I could go to work (didn't have time to stay for a set), there was no one waiting and he rudely told me he had no time to take the gel off. I explained I had up to an hour to wait for a 10 minute procedure and he again said no. This place has never wowed me, but it's close and you get what you pay for. This place had no paper towel even on the table, uses any/all tools & files that they can find that where used on everyone else too. Update: this place is still terrible. It's the only nail shop even kind of close to my work so of course I try and give it another try despite my best judgement. Last time I made an appointment and arrived 4 minutes late and the nail technician basically said "too bad you shouldn't have been late" and gave away my appointment time. This time I figured I'd bring my work with me and just wait as a walk in. I walk in and ask for a gel manicure, there is one or two women working on some customers and nobody waiting and she just says "no we can't help you." I wish I made that much money that I could just turn away business like that and not worry about losing customers, she didn't offer to make me an appointment later during the day or the next day, she just turned away my business. This is the last time I'll try and give this place business. The only reason this place is still open has to be because of the location and lack of other shops in the area. read more

I was told I would wait only 20-30 minutes & I was there for an hour & 30 minutes. In addition, they allowed other people to go ahead of me because "they had appointments" after they had just told me the day before appointments weren't accepted. I will never come back here again.
