I came here with my mother on a scheduled appointment to have gel manicure. First of all, they sat both me and my mom separately when they knew we were together. That's just lack of common curtesy. On top of that, they finished in 15 minutes max. If we're paying 60$ for a service, I'd expect more than a 15 minute service. Highly do NOT recommend this place. And yet we left a smaller tip than usually would, we got very nasty looks from the male employee. Will not be coming back. If you look at the middle nail, the polish doesn't even cover the nail. After researching nail salons close to the hotel we were staying at we decided this was the best based on reviews. The person who greeted us didn't have the best customer service. Very short with her answers. Asked her if they had a mani/pedi combo she didn't understand (or chose not to) was more concerned if we wanted gel (which we didn't we wanted the dip powder). The green tea pedicure was good but I've had better for cheaper. My heals are extremely dry and cracked and there was not much improvement after I left. They did not give us the mani as was requested but just the dip powder, thankfully. As it was about $70 per person already and would have been more if we insisted on a mani. I've paid 40 dollars for top of the line pedicure and my feet were baby soft by the time I left. Also I've been to places where they actually line the basin and change it for each customer as well as have new utensils to use each time. This is not the case here. They are just soaked in solution. However the guy who did my nails was hilarious and I would only go back to sit and have a good laugh. However I won't be returning to this location as it is not worth the price. Next time I am visiting the sunrise area I will have to do a bit more research. read more

ZERO Starz if I could. They are the most Unprofessional and overpriced nail salon. They don't give quality service and they charge u for every little thing. The front desk/management is Disgusting and Rude, with very Poor customer service etiquette she has such a nasty look on her face all the time, not very welcoming. I've had an appt issue with her before, where I called to make an appt with a specific nail tech. I arrive only to be told the nail tech is no longer there. (Assuming he found a much better work environment then that prison), what errked me is that when I made my appt, she stress for me to be on time it call it I cancel. But the birch couldn't inform me he was no longer available So the guy who did my nails that day was very cold, it's like greeting there customers is against their religion. The nails were lumpy and uneven. I've been there a total of 3 times too many and will never spend 1 cent in that low budget over priced malnourished salon. I don't reccomend them to anyone, even if you are desperate don't go there. Money hungry business that lost its focus on Quality. I went for a pedicure and full set, walked out paying $102 after arguing hidden charges down from $117 my nails and toe polish Gel #149 looked horrible. Uneven, not thoroughly polished and lumpy. After years of going to this salon, I am leaving. I feel as a loyal customer, there should be some sort of lead way when it comes to certain things, especially if I never complain about anything. I got my nails done by one of the owners and within one week broke 4 and chipped one. These were my real nails by the way, so imagine how disheartening it was to break something I've spent a long time growing and caring for. When I went to the salon to speak to the owner, she informed me that the nail tech does a great job and if I wanted it "thicker" I should of said something. Isn't that why I'm paying you? Because you are the nail specialist? I didn't make a fuss about it, but I think even an apology would have made me feel better, not blaming me. That was strike one. Strike two occurred when I returned a few days later to get my nails done with my normal nail tech, Tim, who is awesome by the way. I asked the owner on the break down of pricing for my nails... $47 seems like a lot and I'm trying to budget better. She said "$37 for short nails, we add $5 if it's longer $42 (mine are long) and $47 for coffin shape. I specifically asked, "So square is cheaper?" To which she answered "yes." Great I thought, I could at least go square to save a little cash. I like coffin. I went square and when I got to the register she said "that will be $47" I said you said square was $42... she responded with let me go talk to the nail tech. She comes back and says "your nails are long... $47." "Okay, but you just said $42, and I went square when I like coffin and now you're saying it's the same price?" She giggles and said "I guess." Pause... if she's the owner... what's to guess about????? It really put the nail in the coffin for me (no pun intended) I already found another shop highly recommended for $25 for the same service. My family was visiting from NJ for a party in the area and this place was recommended to me from someone who lives locally. It was a great recommendation. The salon was very clean. My daughter and I went on 1/4. We each got gel pedicures. She had a gel manicure while I had a gel fill-in. In South Florida, liquid gel doesn't seem as common as it is in the northeast. Regardless, it was the same price as I pay in NJ so I was ok with it. We were taken on time for our appointments which right away was a plus for me. Both of our technicians took their time on us and each of us received impeccable manicures and pedicures that are fully intact. My daughter has gotten gel manicures a few times at our local places at home and her gel has peeled off pretty fast, but this is fully intact after 5 days. I also had an eyebrow and lip wax and it is the best one I have ever had. I wish this salon was local to me in NJ so I could visit again. read more

So disappointed. Terrible Customer Service. Lost my business. My daughter and I were "walk- in" clients and understood we would have to wait. We asked the front receptionist wait time and were told 10 minutes. A woman and her daughter came in 2 minutes after and were serviced. Assuming they had an appointment, We still waited. After patiently waiting. We realized were waiting about 35 minutes. The receptionist told us another 10 minutes after my daughter asked if she was able to serivice us. Another two women walked in without an appointment and they serviced them right away after we were told we would be serviced. The receptionist just said "Good bye", after my daughter questioned her. There are better nail spas with proper customer service and manicure skills that can do so much better within the community. read more

I just left from getting the hot stone pedicure and I have to say it was amazing. I usually just get the normal pedicure with paraffin added. I thought the hot stone would be a waste. That they would rush through it and use the stones or massage my legs for a moment. This time I decided to go for it and it was so worth it. I will certainly go back for this. read more

Mindy did a great job with my nails. She took her time and made an effort to make sure they came out just the way I like them. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they don't use a plastic liner in the foot basins. I go this nail salon often for my manicures and pedicures. Today I went it and it was full because of Easter. I got there at 5:25 pm and I know they take their last customer at 6:30pm. So then one staff member said another one. She walked away then after about 10 steps she turned around and looked at me. Then the receptionist came to me and said I don't know how to say this but we may be able to take you. I said you take your last customer at 6:30 pm she then said we have appointments. I have been to many nail salons and was searching for one that was closer to my house. This is a Great nail salon. I came in an hour before closing to get gel mani and pedi along with a paraffin hand treatment. They were so courteous and polite. They did a great job on both the pedicure and manicure. The paraffin treatment was amazing. The nail tech Helen had great attention to detail and took extra steps to make sure it was perfect. And all together the staff was so nice. Well, I was excited to come since it looked nice but I'm very disappointed. It smells very strong, stronger than other salons, which makes me think they lack proper ventilation. I went for a pedicure and I asked the girl to it cut in certain areas since it tends to get infected after a pedicure, but she didn't listen and she went right to do what I'd asked met not to. And all she said "don't worry, it won't hurt" as I kept telling her, stop it hurts I told you not to cut there, she kept telling me that I should do this or that. And guess what, both my feet are hurting a lot. I can't walk. For the price is not worth it. read more

What a gem! I walked in at about 5:30 with no appointment just for a pedicure and was told it would be a 15 minute wait. After about 15 to 20 minutes I was sat in a chair and started to soak my feet. John was my nail tech and im thrilled he was. He was very detailed, professional and kind. Pedicure was EXCELLENT. As I was sat down to dry my toes I adked if John had time for a simple manicure to which he said yes. Manicure was excellent as well. I am very happy with my overall experience. Let me start off by saying my review is based on one person and not the entire establishment. I decided to try out this salon based on the positive reviews and the close proximity to my house. I walked in without an appointment and only waited maybe 10 minutes for my pedicure. My technicians name was Yin, she said what color and that was the last she said to me... at no point did she ask how the water temp was, if I wanted anything to drink, if I wanted to upgrade to a higher end pedicure....nothing. everyone around me was chatting it up with their tech and every person in there had been offered a glass of wine, again, not once did my tech ask me. When she was done she slipped on my sandals and walked away.. no goodbye no thank you, just slipped on my shows and went to another customer. I still tipped because I always tip and when I handed her the money and said thank you she had the audacity to not say a word, just took the money and walked away. I know everyone has bad days but this was ridiculous for someone in customer service. It is so close to my house so I will give it one more try I will just make sure to make an appointment and request to NOT be helped by this tech. read more

I've been here a 6 times so far. For gel mani and pedi. I've had a different nail tech each time and have never been disappointed. The techs do excellent work and are professional and friendly. With your service you get a complimentary beverage, water, soda, or wine. The salon is clean, decorated nicely and the pedicure chairs are new/comfortable and the massagers work.
