My technician was so sweet, she spent several minutes trying to find the specific color I came in for, but despite their wall of gel powder colors, they didn't have the exact shade. I ended up going with another brand in a similar color and I really love it! She was very precise (I've had techs who use the drill wayyy too close to the cuticle and end up hurting me, but not this woman! I'm sad I never got her name!!!) Getting my nails done has always been kind of meditative for me, so I was glad my tech didn't chat much. The only thing I missed was the massage! I found my new nail place! Seriously, after being loyal to a "certain" spot for a few years, tried this place on a whim when my regular gel lady was unavailable. I am SO glad I did. Henry looked at my nails and recommended a healthier option to the crappy job of powdered nails plus gel I was used to getting at "the other place". It damaged my nails like acrylics. He managed to start fresh with some magical gel blend (sns, I think) and schooled me on the difference in products used and the effects on my nails! I'm well on my way to healthier cuticles and my real nails. Oh and it's been over a week and the gel looks GREAT! No chipping or lifting. They also have crazy cool nail designs and stones. And not like the cheap small circle "diamonds" the other nail places sell you on, they're actual gems and unique nail stones! Nail Swag! I had my nails done there maybe 3 times. The nails never really lasted very long but they were a bit cheaper than others. HOWEVER, this last time lasted less than 4 days! The gel paint wore off of every single nail. I also had a pedicure the same day. The polish started coming off after 2 days and they are all terrible now! I called and informed, I offered to send pictures and the manager, Henry, said he would repair 2 nails. I said they are all bad. He nothing I will do. The worst customer service ever! Never again. Be careful and pay attention to the cleanliness of the tools your nail tech is using. I had called the nail salon after going to the doctor and finding out about how bad my infection was and they didn't try to accommodate me at all. This is my go to nail salon mainly because it's close and I really liked 2 of the girls I used to schedule with. Kathy & Tracy. The salon just got an update so nice new chairs. I never have an issue w the quality of my service. Gel lasts 2+ weeks. My main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because for as long as I've been going here, it doesn't feel like I'm a regular like other service establishments I frequent in the area. Would just recommend a little finesse with long standing loyal customers. Lastly, it seems as soon as I find a tech I really like, they leave. Totally get it with this nature of work. On Saturday, February 3, 2018 I went to Gallery Nails Spa on Glen Oaks Blvd in Burbank to get: my nails done, my face, underarms and legs waxed. The next day I woke up to painful red burns on my underarms and face and foot. I iced them, thinking it would go away quickly. By Monday, the burns were hurting badly and itching me. I called the Salon, and took pictures with my cell phone of the burns. The Manager asked for them via text. The Manager, Thanh Nguyen said the only phone they have is his cell phone 323-246-1956 (which is not true). I spent $100 plus a $20 cash tip at the Salon, I have the receipt, which I also texted him. Thanh said via text the owner will not help or refund me because I have sensitive skin, too bad. I am regular customer. I may have to go to the doctor for the burns under my arms and face. The Salon Website states they have a fully licensed staff and : OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU: The Practice of sanitation standards exceeding those mandated by the California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology to ensure your health and safety. This place is awful. Poor quality and terribly rude service. Do not go here. Beware - there are other reviews like mine that are buried in the history of (likely fake) positive reviews. First of all, they did a crappy job on my fiance's nails. They were bubbling up and not flat at all the next morning. This was after she was made to wait an extra half hour beyond her appointment time (to which she showed up early). She went back the next day with another appointment to get it fixed. Again she showed up early, but they just ignored her. When she asked what was going on they were rude to her and told her to wait... she waited 40 minutes after complaining several times, still getting ignored. Eventually she gave up and went home after wasting an hour waiting for nothing and getting treated like crap. Please post your experience if you have been to this place.... but I would really recommend you dont waste your money trying. read more

I was in the mood for acrylics, but not in the mood to spend too much money on it. I hadn't gotten acrylics in 6 years, so I was out of practice to say the least. I did extensive research and found Gallery to be the most affordable in my area. Based on that I gave it a shot. The woman that helped was nice and listened to what I wanted. I was happy with the end result! Although, there were a few things I didn't like: - charging $1 extra when paying with card... it's 2018, most people don't carry cash and do their transactions on credit card. So it's common customer service to not charge extra. - no one really stands at the front desk. So (for new customers) you walk in and kind of stand around until someone acknowledges you. The reason I'm writing this is to hope Henry will treat people nicer. I am a loyal customer and have been going there for 4 years. When ever I walk in Henry doesn't even look up, doesn't acknowledge I have even entered. Last time 15 min past my appt time I asked when are you taking me. He ignored me , didn't answer, he is so rude. They finally took me and did my polish change on toes before they ever got to my nails. I was there for over hour and half. While I sat there I watched them take walk ins. And watch people come with appts and watched them have to wait just like me. There polish is old and my toes never dried. I called and talked to Henry and he said its my problem. I rushed. He hung up on me. I feel there should be some loyalty to long time customers. My nails looked they where done by a third grader. This place has gone sooooooo downhill. I called my friends that stopped going there. And asked where's good? Go to nails ink in Burbank. All the nail techs left Henry. They are at nail ink. Totally classy , comfy chairs , they give you glass of champagne. The polish is new. The have nail artist that can do any design. Ask for Lisa. She left this horrible place. I almost hesitate to give this nail salon such a high score because I don't want my favorite nail technician to be even more busy than he already is!! But seriously, Tom, Henry and Jenny are fantastic (Tom is my regular guy but I've seen the other two and they do super work too!). They have a ton of colors in regular polish, gel polish and SNS powder. They work fast and do a wonderful job!! The lost star is because the place isn't very clean which is a quality I really value. The uncleanliness of the business isn't enough to make me stop going but it is something that needs to be mentioned. Perks: They offer you a bottle of water when you arrive and they have a pretty decent parking lot in the back. Ladies, trust this nail perfectionist - go see Tom. I came here a week ago on a friends recommendation. They have a lot of dip powder options and their prices are good. I was hoping to find a great new nail place and was willing to try to burbank for it (i live in studio city). First of all, the place is dirty and run down. My nail tech also got powder on my cuticle so its growing out bad. But the reason for my review is that one week later I had a chip on my thumb nail. (My last SNS from another salon lasted me 3 weeks flawlessly) i callwd and they said they would fix it. So i drove there to basically have them glue my nail tip and file my my thumb nail shorter than I wanted it. Without any apologies or anything they just said "OK you're fine" in dismissal of me and walked away. So BYE to this place. Beware- you get what you pay for. read more

Terrible service. Ordered pedicure and it was done in 15 min, when I looked at it I saw crooked nails, dirt under nails, skin that hasn't been cut and one bleeding spot. For the first few times that you visit this place they do a good job but once you become their regular client they stop caring and do your nails in less than 30 minutes and after 2 days the gel comes off. Parking is scarce to park in the upper lot. Anyhow, made an appointment for 2 people for 12:00 (one gel mani the other acrylic), the acrylic didn't get started until 1:00. However, I walked In with gel on and they put the foil on to remove it at about 12:30ish (around the same time my pedicure started) and left the foil on until I was done with my Pedicure. Pedicure went well. A little painful but not too bad. Now the manicure was pretty rough. The guy removed the gel and it was pretty painful, Let me remind you the foil was on for about 45 mins, so it just flaked off. There was no need to vigorously scrap it off. Next, the cuticle removal was by far the most painful and irritating one that I have ever received. The finished gel is very uneven and doesn't even cover the whole nail. It looks pretty bad. I felt as if the guy was rushing to be done with me and move onto the next person. Not my kind of salon. I will not be back. They need better service. Especially if someone makes an appointment!! They shouldn't be waiting a whole extra hour to get started. read more

Got my nails done again on a Monday afternoon, around 4:30ish, and there was only two people there who were just finishing up. Tom greeted me as I came in and asked what services I had wanted, I told him SNS nails and a pedicure, and he said no problem and to pick out my colors. I chose #35 in the SNS powder, which is like a dark pink/ hot pink color, and another pink color for my toes. Tom did my nails first and he was very meticulous with my shape and everything. I did get nail extensions and did a coffin shape, that's the shape I absolutely looooove! He asked me time and time again if I was happy with the length and shape just to make sure I was happy, plus he offered me a discount because he said that the last time he said they didn't look good, but I thought they did! Lol. My pedicure was great too! The lady who did it, I didn't catch her name, was very thorough and took her time, which I love. At a lot of other places I always feel like they are rushing through the services, but not here, but then again, every time I've been here there was never a lot of people getting anything done. So FYI, try and come on a weekday and not a weekend. Oh, and I also had asked Tom if he could trim my cuticles before he started the process of the SNS nails, because they were so dry because of this heat.
