It was hands one which I loved but the main reason we went there was for the drones and they were broken when we got there. Tickets were available for $40 cash only which moved relatively quick, but advanced tickets can be purchased online. It is all bleacher seating, no stairs. If you want to avoid debris, I recommend sitting closer to mid to upper levels. Maybe a pair of glasses and a cap to shield the eyes. Lots of exhaust and burning rubber. There were several races which were fun to watch which included the figure 8 and the trailer race (there were boats and jet skis on trailers!). The main feature was the school bus demolition derby which was a hoot. They would back into one another and the last one standing wins. There are concession and merchandise stands if you wanted to pick up something. It took quite a while to leave the field because it all converged to the main road. Worth trying at least once if you're a racing fan.

Though there were vendors, not one of them had any strawberry related goods. What I did enjoy was the strawberry shortcake eating contest and the crowning of the strawberry queen (the only two events that made it feel like I was at a strawberry festival). There were also chocolate strawberries being sold as well as strawberry shortcake slices (but I got one for free because I was front row for the eating contest and there were many extra!). Carnival fairs always attract my foodie interests for funnel cake (Fried Dough) and Italian sausage, but sadly no strawberry concoctions hence the name "Strawberry Festival." It is very interactive and there are plenty of buttons for kids (or adults!) to push to make things move or light up. The highlight is the model circus that was handcrafted by a local man. They might not make small talk about something else, but if you have train related questions, they are excellent resources. I was even more hesitant when I only paid $19 for a newer movie. However, after I saw the theater showroom I was pleasantly surprised. They offer a wide variety of snacks at the concessions, as well as the usual Pepsi beverages. I purchased three small, but substantial, drinks and a large popcorn with one free refill for $21.25. The theater has plush, leather-like chairs (no recliners) and the entire place was either clean or being cleaned; this is a very tidy place. The best part yet was after traveling to two larger, more popular theaters and told they were sold out, this place was wide open. This place is great to take kids and family for a night at the movies. You can enjoy a movie, popcorn, and drink without having to take out a loan, which is required at most theaters.

The staff are so friendly, the tickets are little pieces of paper like back in the day and the prices are unheard of. Tickets are $10 for adults $7.50 for seniors. There are combo deals like the one that cost me $10.50 tonight for a small popcorn I couldn't even finish, small drink and candy!! What???? The theatres have seats you can choose when you walk in, no assigning seats here. You can choose to sit somewhere else if say a person with a big head chooses their seat in front of you. This has happened too often and I love I have options now. There are old fashioned seats that rock. For me, I dont need to recline like I'm watching the movie in my bed! I found my new theatre! No more paying $30-40 for a night out at the movies for me anymore! I wish more businesses could turn back the clock and make us feel like what times used to be like.
