And here we are, at Splish Splash, a place I took a road trip too when I lived in Queens. Then it seemed like it was across many states. It's funny how you perceive things as a kid versus as a grown up. Now this place is no more than 30min from my parents, but I still haven't been here since becoming an adult and I'm glad we did. The place has changed so much. Better layout. More family friendly. We rented one of the luxury cabanas for the entire day. It cost $1200 and allows 32 people, but holds 40. You have to buy additional wristbands at $20 a wristband. You also still need to buy tickets. The sales office was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions and we got the group rate for our day at the park. As much fun as we had, and as great as the space was, which we plan on doing again, there needs to be more support in the Cabana areas. At one point security asked one of my guest if they should be there, and when they showed them their wristband they continued to follow up with the cabana staff, meanwhile, people kept coming into our cabana trying to use the area for themselves. Where was security then? The food and drink service also lacked. We were instructed to order off the QR code which were on signs throughout the cabana, but half of them didn't work. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food and some people didn't get their drinks. Once I expressed how long we waited, and how we felt overlooked the staff gave us a few additional canned margaritas. By this time it was late afternoon. Most of had to leave because the kids were exhausted. Moral of the story: this place has had a major glow up, I'm hoping that the staff and service follow suit as they continue to grow. This is a piece of nostalgia on Long Island and I would hate to see it go away anytime soon.

They also of course had huge slides for adults. I couldn't find areas to eat at maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. But yeah, just go on a weekday because on a Saturday, the lines were super duper long. The reason why I took off one star is because not only do you have to pay for entry into the park, but you also have to pay for parking, which is another $30 so altogether it was $60 + tax.

I recently ordered takeout from Buffalo Wild Wings in Riverhead, NY, a couple weeks ago and had a…read more great experience. From the moment I walked in, the customer service stood out. The cashier, Dalia was incredibly patient and kind and welcoming while helping me with my order. I had a few questions and took my time deciding, but she never rushed me and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. It's not always easy to find customer service like that, especially when places are busy, You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers, and made the whole experience much better. On top of that, the food was amazing. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly what I expected. My order was well packaged which made the takeout process smooth. Overall, this visit really showed how important good customer service is and the impact kindness can do.

The only reason this isn't a one‑star review is because of Darshae, who was the one bright spot in…read morethe entire experience. She was bartending, bussing, bar‑backing, and basically holding the place together. She deserves better support and a full team behind her. As for the rest: * The acoustics are brutal -- loud games, louder TVs, and an audio system that clearly hasn't been serviced in ages. * The food came out cold. My wings were somehow colder than the overdressed Caesar salad, and the sauces for the gummy onion rings that dies alongside my wings did. * A couple of line heaters would solve half of this. * If the kitchen saved even two‑thirds of the Caesar dressing, they could probably afford to hire someone to help Darshae -- and she'd make a mint if she weren't doing four jobs at once. The franchisee is clearly doing well financially, but the guest experience doesn't reflect it. Fast food doesn't mean fast and careless. Pride in the product and pride in the team shouldn't be optional. It'll be a colder day than my wings had before I'm back. Message for Readers / Management The only reason this feedback isn't a zero‑star assessment is because of one standout employee: Darshae. She was exceptional -- attentive, efficient, and clearly carrying far more responsibility than one person should. She is the sole reason this location has any chance of succeeding. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell far short: * The noise level and acoustics are overwhelming due to loud games, unbalanced TVs, and an audio system that appears overdue for service. * The food quality and temperature were unacceptable. Wings arrived cold, the Caesar salad was overdressed, and the onion rings and sauces were out of sync. * Basic operational improvements -- such as line heaters and proper kitchen pacing -- would make an immediate difference. * Staffing appears insufficient. If resources were allocated more effectively (starting with the Caesar dressing), the bar could be properly supported and the guest experience would improve dramatically. This location gives the impression of a franchisee with significant resources but little attention to execution. Fast‑casual dining doesn't excuse a lack of pride in product or management. Until these issues are addressed, I won't be returning.
