I went in to sell a Xbox console and had everything even tested to make sure it turned on and everything and when the lady went to turn it on she didn't have it connected all the way and she acted like she hated being there, after a few try of her trying to turn it on she said "sorry can't take it" so I said fine I'll just sell my games, she told me since they aren't that popular she can't go more the $3 so I said I don't play them much fine, two days later they were selling them for $20 a game l, that's some bull crap read more

I had the worst customer experience that I have ever encountered at this store. The woman working there was rude the moment I walked in. I was there to exchange/return a game I got from an online order. I took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free preowned games. I wanted to exchange one, thinking it would be an easy process. She explains to me that I would have to either return all 3 games or pay for the others. I asked her to let me know what it would look like if I "paid" for the others. She calls someone, (corporate I assume?) to figure out the process. What she ends up doing is returning the game at $0 dollars (it was the free game) and hands me the receipt. I say "well, if I get nothing then I will just take the game." She asked if I would like to trade it in. I say okay. She sighs and says I should have said that before she returned it because now its in their system. She never confirmed with me that I wanted to return it at $0 since she was on the phone the whole time. She calls someone back to explain what I want to do and then simply says "sorry, we can't do anything." So now I am stuck without the "free" game or anything in return. I was offered no credit. I wasn't even asked if I wanted to trade the game for something of equal or lesser value. Do not shop at this scam of a business. read more

Went in pre order a game & said the console clearly! You can't confuse PlayStation 5 for an XBox Series X. Yet, I get home and see my pre order is for an Xbox Series X. With the pre order is a beta code and now I have to drive 10 min to waste time and gas cause they won't give me the code over the phone. I'm inconvenienced cause the employee didn't do their job correctly. read more

Great store and great customer service! It has been so long since I have been into a Gamestop that made me feel truly welcome. I came into to trade in a Nintendo Switch for the new OLED version. The sales associate Keagen was very friendly and knowledgable. He made me and my family feel welcome, and was willing to walk us through the entirety of our Nintendo Switch trade in. Although the transferring of my data took a long time, Keagen was willing to chat with us and keep us company. Along the way he offered us product suggestions and even sold us a few controllers for our systems we had at home. I would highly recommend any customer to speak to him as he had a great attitude. Every time I enter the Gamestop store on Lower Buckeye in Phoenix, the clerks and manager know me and know just what to suggest for me to buy for my son. Every holiday I have a great stash of toys and games to give to my son. They all know exactly what he'll love to receive and let me know when to preorder games to make sure I get the ones I want. Gabe, Chris and P.J. are all excellent in the customer service department. They wait on each customer like they are special, and make sure they stay on task until everybody is happy. They all treat each customer with respect, and they seem to respect each other and work well as a team. Definitely five stars to this staff. read more

I went in with a controller I had bought a little over a month ago and they can't accept it without the receipt even though I purchased a 2 year warranty for it but now I can only go in and trade in my controller and buy a new one? Outstand staff, very helpful and willing to take the time to explain differences and options available to the customer. Have not been a big Gamestop customer in the past but the friendliness and knowledgeable staff make the my first stop anymore. read more
