I looked up the non update issue and found this error happens any time a disk drive is replaced. My xbox didn't need a disk drive replaced. My dad has called and the guy won't return his messages. My son was able to find the game he was looking for (he was actually able to find a pre-owned three pack that included the game he wanted for just a few dollars more than the single game).
