The rink itself is badly maintained and the wheels of their skates catch repeatedly on the dented, cracked wood. Every member of staff we interacted with, from the woman who manages the place to the guy renting skates and the girl serving food, was so rude and indifferent. The floor and tables were filthy as if they'd never washed, pizza was dry and gross, and it was just overall a lousy experience. You also can't pay with anything but cash. This place has outlived its nostalgia value and really needs either a full overhaul or to be shut down. My daughter wants her own skate party this year and we're driving down to Austin instead. I'd never recommend Wheels for parties or even a casual skate, it's just dreadful and unpleasant inside with the smell and age, like it was frozen in the 90s.

They didn't show us at all how to use the guns, and we had to figure out how to get them unstuck ourselves. It would've been nice if they had us shoot at the targets before sending us straight into a game without knowing if our guns worked properly. They have a big, open course, and a small course with buildings. The small course was shaded, so we stuck to that one a lot more. It was nicely designed and looked like a video game. They don't have running water or AC, and they have one porta-potty. They provided a filled water container without cups.

When we got to BLORA we were the only players there so the kids could learn at their own pace. CONS: We rented the equipment that was not well maintained. The masks still had paint on the lenses. The guns either were malfunctioning or the air tanks weren't filled. All 3 bags of 500 paintballs which we each received had one or more broken balls and therefore paint on the surface of the paintballs which affected trajectory. The balls were also old and were resistant to breaking on target. One of the two workers/ referees had never played before and it was his first day on the job. I overlooked all of that, knowing my kids didn't know any better, and I guided them through a more thorough safety brief and basically refereed the 3 of us. PROs: The staff members were polite and at least one of the two were knowledgeable. It was not crowded. The multiple scenario fields were good. The paintballs didn't break in the guns. We did have a lot of fun and now my kids are hooked. It's a great place for a first timer. It's also a great place for small, private groups. VERDICT: For an uncrowded paintball field, serious Veteran players in a group will want to bring their own gear. I will continue to take my kids there until they outgrow the experience and either lose interest or are ready for a more competitive paintball experience but we'll consider getting our own gear.

They are pretty fast and challenging as well. The whole course is based of three 9-hole courses. So you can play a full 18 or just 9. The staff here are very welcoming, and for being a Hispanic I was well amazed at how they treated me like a customer and didn't shown any signs like I didn't belong there. My buddy Lu and I are Army veterans, we were also amazed how they celebrated and honored Veterans Day with the US Flag on every hole. My only complaint is maneuvering around to the course to find your way back to the main building or the next hole on courses 2 and 3. Overall, I was happy and satisfied. I will be coming back at least once a month if I can.

This place is like an oasis in the middle of Central Texas, there are ample resources, supplies, rooms, and accommodations which made it easy and flexible. The staff here were phenomenal and worked diligently to meet our needs - - they're eager to please. I dealt primarily with Laura Nickel who was very helpful throughout the scheduling and set-up process. We also had last minute changes and adjustments the week before - - but no worries w/ Laura as I learned she thrives on challenges like these. She remained positive and focused to ensure everything was quality good and met our expectations, and her staff were polite, professional, flexible and accommodating. I was so impressed w/ their positive attitudes as well as their spot-on execution even when we changed things up at the last minute. There were close to 40 people in our group as we requested a particular set-up with tables and chairs to facilitate learning workshops, Laura and her staff flexed to meet our needs and that helped make things run a lot smoother during our time there. I took a small tour of the grounds and was really impressed with the offerings and environment. They had everything one could possibly need - - podium, speakers, lighting, chairs, tables, and a variety of spaces to choose from. I would not hesitate to reach out to them in the future for any group activity or camping / outing / team-building adventure planned as there is ample grounds to play and rooms to facilitate whatever your heart desires. There are also several bedrooms for overnight stays and large kitchen spaces with all the tools you need. It actually was very peaceful and quiet there during the week which helped limit distractions, and most of all the customer service was top notch. I could not be happier with Laura and her staff's performance, they work hard to please and went above and beyond. I think Laura could tackle any obstacle and challenge that any corporation / company / team brings to the table as she finds way to meet your needs and obviously loves her work. It was a memorable week and we'll definitely utilize them again in the near future.

Come to find out we arrived on time only to have the group ahead of us play until 720 (700 was our time ) my bartender was rude when he handed me a room temperature beer out of the fridge ( that I noticed was wide open for who knows how long) And I asked for a different one His response to after the person next to me (my friend) accepted the warm beer was "hey I like this guy he doesn't give a shit ". Anyways the mixed drink I had him make me after that was decent. The Augusta. A lot of the clubs are clearly thrift store clubs as they are trash. I don't expect top of the line but some of these were straight up crooked ! We asked the same bartender about recalibrating the screens because there were several shots we took that just didn't register on the screen I guess ... and his response was " man that shit costs like 4 thousand to do". After all this .... The same bartender walked by us at 0820 and reminded us that we only had 10 mins remaining ... we all mentioned to him that we started late due to your last group , and he stated "sorry there's nothing we can do about it ". The staff…read more(especially Coach Jake) was absolutely incredible assisting my niece in learning some simple gymnastics as well as organizing games for all the children. In addition to having young children run around the gym, we also had 2 autistic kiddos who the staff did INCREDIBLE with and made sure they were very involved. They had so much fun we had quite a few tears when it was time to leave with promises to the kids that we would return. I would HIGHLY recommend inquiring about having your child's birthday party here.
