My Fiancé, me and other couple that we know came here for the evening because we found a groupon that was a great deal. To get things started we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a supervisor to come override so we could use the promotion once we got everything situated we got to walk around and the first thing I noticed was it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It had a lot of fun games but most of them needed to be upgraded the screens where so dim you could barely see what you where doing. They could make this place much better and a lot more fun if they kept things updated. Overall we had fun but I expected a lot more. read more

It has only a handful of actual arcade games that aren't shooters/racers. But if you came for drinks with your children they have 2 bars and crummy food. Good luck. Do not waste your time driving to this poor establishment. This business had so much potential and I used to come here when I was younger without any issues whatsoever. You can be over the age of 21 but if you have your younger siblings (under 18) you cannot bring them with you without your parents present. Although this place is based around a "family setting" all they seem to care about is running children out and making their money off their bar and older adults. I used to come here all the time when I was younger, my family would drop me off and I would pay for myself and play with my friends I met there. We drove 40 minutes away and they did not care. They should remove the "family" name they place in their business. It's a disgrace when you just want to take your family out. Never again will I go here. I came here with a group of people. I want to thank Scott caskey I hope I spelled it right and chae the bartender. Without them my experience would not be the same. The bartender chae was well informative on the drinks and their specials. She was more than willing to go above and beyond on any requests. Scott I will say deserves a promotion. The tools he was using to fix the machines were not up to protocol however any issues he handled. This man deserves a promotion; he handled every issue we had with flying colors. Nick Scott tried to assist me on things but failed to meet any expectations by giving me less than what I paid for. I paid for 300 credits and after 3 games broke Scott was the only one that made it worth while. Nick gave me 150 credits and told me he would take away my ticket card. Which is ridiculous. I can't help machines break but thankfully Scott handled things to a level of expertise I didn't expect. Without chae and Scott this company would be at a total loss. Also Deandre at the ticket counter was more than amazing. He is another asset to this company. I appreciate their patronage and their time. This place is worse than GameWorks was! Let's start with the cards, I was excited to see this place has timed (blue) cards so you don't get nickle and dimed to death. They also have the money cards (red) if you want to go that route. Next, with the arcades, the game machines seem to be in good working order but I was surprised at the lack of diversity in the non prize games. Majority of the floor is covered with games that provide tickets however be warned that many of those you can't play without the red card. In addition, it doesn't seem that the management understands the amount of heat games put off, the place must have been set at 80 degrees because it was HOT. So, now the actual review.... We went in and bought 2 × 3 hour gameplay cards as well as a $50 red card. We started playing skeeball and first swipe worked great. The next time my wife tried to swipe her card, it wouldn't work (several times) but there was a tech there so he told her to just use the next machine - OK things happen, we understand. From there on, every third game we played, my card would say "locked out" - I literally had to go back up to the desk 6 times during my GameTime to get the card unlocked again, for which I didn't even get an apology, the lady acted as though this is normal. So basically if you buy the times unlimited card, you're going to have to wait a few minutes between games which is BS. Next, the food.... We sat down to have some food for lunch and my wife asked if there's anyway to stop the timer on the cards and the answer was "no". Now i may be asking to much but when I paid $60 for 2 cards and spent an hour eating because the server sucks and the food is slow, my lunch cost me $20 before I even ordered anything. The food itself isn't half bad, not great either but not bad. The service however is HORRIBLE, probably the worst I've ever had at any place. There server brought out an iced tea which looked like ginger ale it was so light, and as expected it tasted like water. He asked them to change the syrup and get another and the server's response was "i can't, it is what it is... Do you want something else?". We then all proceeded to order our 3 meals, 25 minutes later they finally show up, except there's only 2 meals. Apparently this moron forgot to put in my friends order altogether so now we're stuck with a dilemma - does he reorder and we lose another 30 minutes of gameplay or do we just cancel his order? We cancelled his order. Then the bill comes, it's only $25 and doesn't include the 2 entrees we ordered but does include the tea my buddy never got, but I paid it anyways since the meals appeared to be comped. I give the guy my credit card and he comes back with a slip showing $48 charged to my card. Needless to say I didn't leave a very good tip. My advice to anyone thinking about trying this place - save your$ and frustration and go somewhere else, anywhere else has to be better. read more

Well came to watch some nfl and they only have three receivers so they can only play 3 games. We had some appetizers the potato skins and nachos. Potato skins were good. The nachos were lacking fullness. Very skimpy on toppings. Played 3 games on pool. We still have more games to play. Tv quality was okay not the best and they are all probably 32". We recently had a birthday party for our 9 year old daughter here and we had such a wonderful experience!!! We had booked the private room upstairs and when we arrived, everything was already set with table clothes and decorative plates and cups etc. Food arrive on time and was hot and tasty. This place was awful. Walked in with my girlfriend to nobody at the host stand, being first-timers we were confused and didn't know where to go to purchase a game card. We eventually figured it out by ourselves cause nobody there wanted to interact with us for whatever reason. Then I buy the card, get to playing and every other machine I swipe on doesn't work, but still takes my credits. After going back and forth from each game and telling the workers there that half the machines are broken, I decided to call it quits. Also, not that it really matters but this place is ran by someone who is an OBVIOUS CHEAPSKATE. the prices you can win with your tickets are all dollar store items, not a single item of quality in sight. read more

My husband loves arcade games, especially claw machines. So, we decided to check out Game Time to get his fix. Unfortunately, Game Time fell short. We went on a Thursday for the $10 unlimited play from 7p-12a. After about three hours of playing, we became pretty bored. My card didn't work most of the time and you can't win tickets with the unlimited play. When my card did swipe, most of the games functioned. They have a decent selection of motion games. We found the Indy car racing to be the best. The claw machines were expensive, about 10 credits ($2.00) or more for each. The prizes from the machines or the ticket counter were nothing special. We didn't try the food or drink while we were there. So, I won't say much about that. Although, the bar staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is okay, the music was not that great (mostly country but this is florida). Overall, two stars. Won't go back again. read more

We were here for the soft reopening. It looks really nice inside, the food was delicious and the beer was 2for one. The games were fun, but overpriced. You can expect overpriced games in any arcade like this though. They could have a few more games. Took my 12 year old and my 8 year old here to watch the UFC Silva fight. I could be an adult and enjoy the fight while my boys wore themselves out playing games. The food was amazing I had the Chicken Cesar Salad while my boys had the kids mac and cheese and the kids cheese pizza. However our favorite was our appetizer the fired mac and cheese balls. To me three just is not enough. It is very low cost to bring the kids for a fun family day where the kids can be kids and the adults can be adults and kids. I will definitely be making this place one of our family date nights at least twice a month. read more

My family and I visited on July 8 and had the best experience in the bar area. Thank you DENNIS for providing impeccable service and being incredibly patient with our guests' requests. The breakdown: The food: The $16.99 Pay and Play was an absolute deal! Most of our guests purchased it, had a great selection of menu items and were able to use the card with ease. We ordered shareable appetizers also and they were great! The bar area: Nice! Adequate televisions around for those in your party wanting to see a program while you dine. The playcard and games: FABULOUS! At first sight it doesn't appear there is much to do in the gaming area, but there is a great selection of games for all ages. Overall a great experience. Parking was a bit pricey unless you are up from he walk from the garage(not far). Specified GameTIme parking area would've made it a 5 star for me! So my husband and I have been coming here for years, and while the new revamp has improved some things, others have gotten rocky, and not just the disappearance of the more classic arcade games in favour of ticket games. We like to go hang out at the bar for a while and grab some appetizers and some drinks, and that likely won't change, as the bar staff has always been great and friendly. They're also incredibly professional... the last time we were there, we watched our bartenders deal with a couple who had a series of increasingly picky and ridiculous demands over hours without so much as batting an eye. The food, however, seems hit and miss, especially on busy nights. I had a Caesar salad come out with Ranch dressing (it was promptly corrected) one evening while my husband's side salad was forgotten (though again corrected). I ordered some queso, and when it finally arrived, it had congealed so much it had a thick skin on top and turned into a pace that snapped the chips we tried to dip... it also sent me running for the bathroom a few minutes after leaving. On the other hand, the grilled chicken sandwich I got was delicious and perfectly, and my husband loves their calamari. It really just seems like the kitchen needs better quality control. And, yes, there is at least one Pokestop reachable from inside if you're sitting up by the bar. read more

The place is a clean and friendly environment, the manager was very personable and polite, however, I only ordered drinks through recommendations from my ibotta app and they were not on my receipt for verification. When I asked about it, the explanation I got was because they didn't have a button for it. The waitress never wrote down our order which resulted in things that were wrong and needed to be sent back, not to mention the cook in plain view, rolling his eyes for everything the waitress asked him for. Our pizza had toppings we didn't even ask for and the ones we did were missing. We asked to take our drinks to go, but they had no to go cups. The price for my 2 bar drinks on our dinner tab didn't match the last drink I bought on a second tab from the same waitress. Amazing. Came into restaurant expecting fried food served in plastic baskets. What we found is an amazing selection of entrees. First off, the staff were so amazingly friendly! I felt like they truly cared about making our experience at Gametime the BEST! We won all kinds of tickets and prizes and were running arund right alongside the kiddos! Since our first visit, we have been back three times and still more to come! I love this place because you can sit and relax or get up and go by playing games, eating or drinking a beer or soda. This is unlike other arcades I have been to because the staff always are attentive and as soon as a game breaks down, they are on it to fix it. I really really enjoy going here and I guess I love seeing everyone in the building with smiling faces and happy kids running around. My favorite game is Spin and Win and it's only 1 token. I also love the fact that your tickets are stored electronically on a card as well as your tokens. This makes it so much easier to save the tickets and come back another day to play. Great place. I went here with my daughter this past weekend. We walked up to the customer service counter and I told the guy we wanted the 16.99 promo where you get 1 food item off the menu and 1 hour of unlimited game play. He didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and suggested we go to the restaurant and talk to the guy in there about getting us the swipe cards as he used to work at the customer service counter. This threw me off as odd to begin with but we went and sat down and ate our pepperoni pizzas which were very good to be honest. Our server was very friendly and helpful when I asked how the timed game cards worked. He said the time started when we first swiped our cards into a game. He was very attentive to our drink refills and making sure we were okay during our meal. We paid and left the restaurant. We first played the big Sega Indy Racing Game. I couldn't figure out how to adjust my seat so it was a bit uncomfortable playing while reaching for the pedals. While playing I realized that this was the same game I had played maybe 15 years ago, the graphics were old and on top of that my 'car' wasn't moving like i saw the others moving. We then went to play the Jurassic Park shooting game. That was probably the best shooter game in the whole place. We also played the Transformer one and a few other shooters that i do not remember the names. I did notice some of the guns in those shooter games did not recoil/shake/vibrate like they should have. We played the Terminator shooter game and again noticed my gun did not recoil/shake/vibrate and it also did not shoot properly when i pulled the trigger. So not all the equipment worked properly which was a shame. All in all though we did enjoy ourselves. Honestly however i do not know how one could play for more than one hour in there as the selection is very limited and since many of the games are the type where you earn/win tickets or prizes and the time based cards don't work on those, that limits the selection of games even more. read more

Next time I'll drive nearly two hours away to Dave and Buster's in Orlando. This place was horrible. We waited over an hour for a chicken sandwich and a quesadilla. When we finally got our food, it was cold from sitting on the counter as our waitress chatted with other staff. In fact the entire staff was horrible. We spent more time waiting for service than playing any games. The prices are ridiculous, any game of chance costs 10 credits. You barely win coupons for most of the stuff. The arcade itself is pretty small, there isn't much to choose from. The location is more suitable for drunk adults heading to the clubs in Ybor, with no parking close by. read more

Well I'm a huge fan of arcades and was very excited to learn of this place especially since it was a rainy day. What a disappointment. To start with the smell of urine and just uncleanliness hits you as soon as you walk in, not pleasant. The cards you buy are for time and not credits so me and my wife just wanted to play a few games but had to buy two cards for an hour each for $30, which seems a bit much for the casual person but I thought well at least I won't have to worry about the card running out. But there's also what is inherently wrong with the system when everyone has unlimited play we couldn't hardly play any games. The selection is poor compared to my experiences with Gameworks and Dave and Busters, and good luck playing what you want. Several games were inoperable too which was frustrating. The restroom reeked like a public roadside restroom. And the worst part was the service I have to say which is the main reason I won't be coming back. The bar staff was so poor, first time the bar wasn't busy, standing there while two were talking and one was cleaning glasses. I'm staring at the one and he looks at me a couple times and finally asks if he can get us a drink. The draft beer we wanted was out apparently, so we got a yuengling and vodka cranberry (I will say they are very generous in there pour, a lot of vodka). Second time we went to get a drink same thing, 3 of them were chatting and one washing glasses. Make eye contact and nothing, stood there for at least 3 minutes before the guy washing glasses is staring at me and I just asked can you help us? And he does. Ridiculous no one asks to help us. Drink prices weren't bad. Overall this left a bad taste in my mouth, seems like a missed opportunity in such a great location. read more

My daughter just recently had her 6th birthday party here. The party it self was fantastic! The staff that helped us went over the top to help make sure it all ran smoothly. When I had to talk to the management they had some of the worst customer service I had ever had to deal with. Three different managers I spoke with about various party/game card issues all were not willing to help us. One of the employees who was willing to help us even made the comment that the management there were very difficult at times when they shouldn't be. I had spent a ton of money there already and they were not willing to help with and issues regarding a game card that was given to us not working. Makes me sad when customer service does not exist anymore.:/ read more

Only go for the games! The arcade is pretty fun. But do not eat here! I've eaten here twice now and have had awful experiences with the wait staff and the management. The first time they told us we could mix and match the BOGO drinks but when the bill came he said he was wrong and we had to pay for all the different ones we ordered. He then flat out told us don't forget to tip him. Very rude. The second time we went during the half off drinks happy hour. Our two drinks were $18. They only took off $7.50. We had FOUR employees including the GM fighting us that 50% off $18 is $10.75. The GM got about a foot from my face and started yelling at me that I was so wrong. Absolutely ridiculous. The food was good but it is NOT worth going. And they make you give them your leftovers to hold while you are playing the games and they shove them in a little cabinet with cleaning supplies.
