Very chill place to shoot some pool or darts. Drinks are priced good and the bartenders are fast. Ask for Sonya or Lynn.

Great space for large groups and the menu is very approachable. Lots of parking available and the location is convenient. Service is good but I'm not looking for much. When we walked in, there were plenty of open tables, yet the host sat us directly next to a table with a screeching newborn. It felt inconsiderate and set the tone for an unpleasant dining experience. I started with the French onion soup, which was very good, and our server was friendly, attentive, and overall great. No complaints there. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger medium rare, specifically asking for it to lean more on the rare side. What I received was the exact opposite. The burger was the most well‑done burger I've ever been served -- completely blackened inside and out. On top of that, there was a large chunk of raw, cold red onion sitting on it. The cheese was melted, the mushrooms were sautéed, the burger was cooked to death... yet the onions were somehow untouched. I've never had a burger assembled like that, and I wasn't a fan. I had planned to order the Brookie Sundae, but between the ambiance of toddlers shrieking like a pterodactyl and the burnt burger, it felt wiser to just close out and call it a night. Really disappointing for a place I normally enjoy.

They were very nice and honored our gift card-they changed hands 2 months ago. So, it is a lovely small restaurant/bar with high tops and regular tables. Lots of imported beers, wines and liquor. The Keel's elderberry cider was excellent (local brand). Hubby had a Kilkenny beer. We were there around 5:30 to beat the Friday crowd and there were 2 pretty loud parties and the music was loud (they could turn that down, please). Saying that, one group left which made a huge difference. Our experience was very tasty-Caesar Sandwich/fries (choice of tots or chips), fish and chips (huge slab of lightly breaded haddock and fries). It was all delicious. The waitress/bartender was terrific. While we came from out of town, I can see this being a local hangout. Very nice expereince overall.

The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to walk around and explore. Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

We started out with the croquettes in goan curry, which was a very solid Indian-inspired dish. Next we tried the Yakitori - the chicken was amazingly well cooked. The local collar that was very well reviewed was very tasty, I had never had anything like it before. The meat was very tender, I just wish there was more of it in the dish. Next we tried the charred cabbage, which was solid. However, my favorite dish of the night was the vindaloo lamb pappardelle. The lamb was so silky smooth, the curry was flavorful, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I would go back just for this dish. The service was solid. The overall vibe of the place was also nice, seemed hipster-y and trendy at the same time. Can't wait for my next meal there!

My biggest takeaway is that this restaurant is all about the dining experience. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and I really appreciated how they explained each dish when it arrived. Their prix fixe menu with wine pairings seems to be the full experience, but we decided to visit during Happy Hour instead. My biggest disappointment was the Happy Hour menu. I wasn't aware that it mainly consists of snack size portions of their regular dishes. Since the regular portions are already on the smaller side, the reduced portions didn't feel like a great value. For me, the appeal of Happy Hour is getting the same food/drinks at a lower price, so that was not what I expected. We ordered the tuna tartare, ribs, tortellini, and the local collar. The local collar was the standout dish of the meal. The crispy fried fish paired with the refreshing sauce was absolutely delicious and worked perfectly together. Overall, we had a great experience. While the Happy Hour offerings weren't what I expected, the food was excellent, and the service was spectacular. The staff was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, making the meal feel special from start to finish.
