It's some very dark business. He hates the public and rather game and goth behind closed doors. So as a good friend would do, I went to the store to seek out the requested items, well, he didn't actually request them but I overheard him talking to his mother on the phone about the situation. I could tell this was important to him. So I hopped on my bicycle and went to the local King Soopers... I really could find what I was looking for and left. As I exited the store, everything became slow motion and silent... before me walking towards the entrance as I exited I seen this boy in the skinniest of Jeans, the longest of bangs, the tightest of my chemical romance shirts on and the darkest eye liner I've seen on any man or woman... damn, that's sad. I approached him and almost blocked his entrance to the store, thats when he shoved me and said, "Bro, watch the fuck out nerd!" I apologized to him and explained my situation to him and thats when a change in his demeanor happened. He apologized and then said he gets everything at "Hot Toffic" and I had no idea what that was, he repeated over and over "Hot Toffic , Hot Toffic stuffid ass!" But he has tounge and lip piercings that made it extremely difficult to understand what he was saying. Eventually I finally understood he was saying HOT TOPIC. I thanked him and he said, "No worries," then weirdly jingled all of his lip rings. I then got on my bicycle again and used gps to get to Hot Topic. I listened to Amy Grant on full blast , daring life to interfere with my mission for my bud. The guy is my bestie even though we are so different, but I get him and thinks he gets me. GPS directions were on point. I have arrived! Outside was nice and clean, I can dig that, good for the mind, soul and earth. Once I entered I felt a little awkward and out of place but quickly realized there was a bunch of stuff in there that I was familiar with and other things that were interesting. Staff was super cool , friendly and helpful. I found both gloves and eyeliner I was looking for. It was straight and to the point. Overall great experience and look forward to going on a trip there for myself someday. As I arrived home I was so excited to give the stuff to my buddy. I called his name a couple of times before he answered, " Johan... Johan... " he finally answered, "In the shitter bro, come in." This would be the first time talking to Johan while he's doing the number 2, I slowly opened the door and my God the damn smell in there was equivalent to death and taco bell slithering from the same poop chute. I kinda dangled the bag through the door with my arm trying to not expose myself to any unnecessary poop particles if I didnt have to do so. Johan shrieked like a woman in labor going through testosterone therapy at the same time. He was so excited and begged me to come in and be thanked by him. I politely declined 5 times before he threatened to get up while using the bathroom and come to me. So I walked in. Man, why, why did I walk in? The smell and the sight of his man rupa hanging over the toilet seat and actually resting on the toilet was disturbing to say the least. But, to see his mascara that he was already wearing run from being so happy, made me happy. I hugged it out with the fella then stepped outside for some needed fresh air. Johan was very happy and I had just got my ankle monitor off for a dui that day. But I'm sticking with the bike until weather does not permit me to do so. I kinda like it. Size 4 with horizontal stripes? Are you kidding me? And necklines so deep we have started to call the store "Cheap Ho's." Really - just wish they could have decent clothing that doesn't look like my grandmother's drapes, and better workmanship so they last more than one season. And of course - those hideous sleeves. Make them normal with a roll-up snap tab like they used to, and maybe we long armed ladies will buy their tops again. Maybe.
