The Garage Grill definitely has a lot to see if you're a car or motorcycle person. I also liked that they had a waiting room prior to seating you. As others have mentioned the menu choices are vast. You can go with a larger group and still find something for everyone. My wife and I enjoyed the beer flight, it was nice to have a small tasting of 4 different beers. I didn't like the Mexican style beer much but the other 3 were very good. At the suggestion of our waiter we ordered the whisky burger, and the hot honey chicken. Both were very good. You can order fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, or Mac-n-cheese balls. I recommend the Mac-n-cheese balls. The food was all hot and delicious. Family gathering as I was visiting from California. 6 adults and two little guys, my great nephews. Our Waitress was "Des" she took our drink order and immediately took care of the boys serving them first. Smart waitress. We ordered our entrees, everything was good and tasty. excellent food and American neighbours grill. however, the menu is very everywhere, very messy, not very organised to read. its great they've included sushi to try for ppl that aren't that familiar. the restaurant is very well decorated and from a cars fanatic wife, this place was a fun hit. we tried a couple apps and entries. it was all very very good. will have to come back to try the sushi. read more

I've been back several times. It's time for an updated review. The inside is all decked out in race cars, paraphernalia , and similar. I've not eaten in a booth. I've been at the bar with my son. The barkeep was friendly, and the food and beer were excellent. Since that first time, I've been on the patio because I've been here with others and a doggo. GG is very dog friendly, and all the other dogs and dog owners have been nice and friendly with well behaved dogs. Salt Flats should get more credit for their beer. They match any other place in town. It bears any of the other brewpubs in the valley. The food has all been excellent. Along with those with me, we've had a majority of the items on the menu. I don't have any I would steer you away from. The pastas are good, and that's not often the case at a place like this. They also have killer tater tots. They are regular ones, but they cook them so nice and crispy. You can't go wrong here. read more

Ordered a take-out appetizer and was quite disappointed. First, when I was looking at the menu, I asked the young lady about the MCLAREN SPINACH DIP Cajun Spinach Artichoke Dip Served With Corn Tortilla Chips (GF). I asked if it was pretty big, and she said that it would serve about three. As you can see in the pictures, it is definitely not big. It is maybe one cup of dip and some chips. It would be worth it if it was less money, because it is good, but $14 + $2 tip is ridiculous. I like the Garage Grill, and my family goes there frequently. The ambiance was pretty cool. I like the decor and esthetic they are going for. They do well with the theme and that was the cool part. I got the sushi nachos. They were alright. Not really worth the amount. They also were one note. The fried wontons didn't help. My wife ordered the club sandwich which comes with avocado and they left it off. It was hard to fix because our server just disappeared. We had to flag down the manager that was roaming around to get the avocado. Overall, it was a cool decorated place but the food was just mediocre. read more

3 stars is generous only because of the great service. Our server earned 2 stars above the chef's 1 star. Atmosphere is fun for kids and car nerds. Come here for a fun time but maybe stop and eat somewhere else before you go. It's a classic case of a menu that's way too big. There's not a chance anything can be fresh with that many options. They need to narrow down the menu and focus on what works. (Which is not the Reuben). I didn't dare try the sushi but maybe that's what works more for them, and they should ditch the fried (too fried) side of the menu? Haven't been here in a while. First thing when we went in is it been changed around so we suspect new management the server came and greeted us and told us new menus. Usually this time of the afternoon on a Saturday when we went, you have to wait to be seated this time it was probably only 35% full. Immediately we thought there must be a reason and soon enough we figured out what it was. The food the first bite of a french fry tasted like one that was a day in the microwave. Very stale and tasteless. Very poor, very very poor. I ordered a Philly and I swear there was barely any onions or peppers in and a teaspoon of cheese on it. Most tasteless sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. My wife ordered the fish and chips and it was caught this time prior visit. It was always halibut which is a much better tasting fish for fish and chips in our opinion or cod was very tasteless. Way too much batter very tasteless also. Needless to say we are never going back and are letting all our friends and family know about the poor I guess they don't have anybody that knows how to cook with any kind of so old french fries is the worst to be a fun experience to go It's sad that go downhill like this. My son requested to go here for his birthday! If you are into cars the decor here is amazing. Vintage signs, actual cars positioned throughout the dining area...cool. The menu is huge which can be a little scary when you see sandwiches to sushi. Food and service were good, but wouldn't say great. Tried the pretzel appetizer, salad, sandwich, and burger. Interesting place they have burgers, sushi, fish, and shrimp tacos... They have a bit of everything. The decor centered around cars. It's a fun atmosphere. The floor was really sticky, the Diet Coke was a little flat, and the kids mac & cheese came with pepper, which was quickly sent back to the kitchen. The second time around there was pepper on it again, and they didn't even take it off the bill. Interesting. The wait staff was ok.. not great. The food was pretty good... I'm not sure I'll go back? The Garage Grill is good. some menu items are great others not so much. I got the Mustang burger which has BBQ sauce, burnt end brisket, bacon and an onion ring. It was really good. I got the tater tots which are deep fried for extra goodness. The fries are not worth it, get the tots. The atmosphere is fun especially if you are into racing. Our party of 5 waited a whole possible 5 mins to be seated when we got there. I haven't been to this place in a couple years so thought I'd give it another go with my sisters that have never been there before. Definitely a win for all of us by the end of the night. I got the BLT (but subbed out the tomato for avocado) - applewood bacon, lettuce, avocado, fried eggs with chipotle mayo on honey wheat bread. Very light sandwich and good choice at the end of the night to not feel heavy. The sandwich didn't stay together as well, but it didn't bother me to the point where I wouldn't get it again. My side of choice was tator tots - a little salty but not so much that I didn't inhale it ;) Other choices by my sisters that they loved: edamame and double shrimp (there's only 2 shrimp on this plate FYI) for appetizers; sushi nachos, Thai salad, Mustang burger & formula 1 grilled cheese. Table was clean and the waiter was funny. He was on top of our drinks and order. Our order came out quicker than we thought so that was a plus. Definitely would come back again and I'm glad they have enough space for the larger parties - our table would easily fit one more person. Very good food and service. This place really surprised me. They handle the large party very well. The sushi nachos were delicious. I would definitely order that again. I was also surprised by the crabby patty, something I would not usually order Except my husband really wanted to try it. Delicious! my husband's Philly cheesesteak was very good. The other orders around the table were pronounce to be very good as well. I don't think we had one bad order. Service was exceptional. I would give that five stars if I could. A French macaroni and cheese was brought out with large chunks of onion. My friend cannot have onions. She did not see that in the description of the dish when she ordered or she would've discussed it with our server But our server was very quick to take that away and order something else for her. The dessert menu came out looking like it was printed haphazardly and cut by a first grader. Definitely an afterthought. They might want to consider re-printing and looking professional. Surprisingly not as noisy as I would expect from a place like this. I saw many tables with families and children, many tables of just couples. They are definitely popular. The chicken fried steak was a little too dark, but the flavor was surprisingly good. The gravy was skimpy and NOT "country" gravy. The mashed potatoes weren't creamy, almost like they had taken boiled potatoes and mashed them with a fork. My wife rates a restaurant by the quality of their chicken fried steak and won't order this entree again. The Harley Jambalaya had the right amount of spices and an AMPLE amount of shrimp, chicken chunks and sausage. I'd definitely order this again! The Mac and cheese was very tasty, especially for being served in a restaurant! They used three cheeses to give it a great taste! It wasn't just macaroni pasta. There was a good amount of bacon included. The bread crumbs on top sent it over the top! This is a dish we would order again! The Brown Butter Cake was good, but the a la mode was an extra $3.00 for a single scoop! The Lava Cake was a BIG disappointment! My wife, a true chocoholic, was VERY disappointed with the overpowering taste of cocoa powder! You needed two scoops of ice cream to counter the strong cocoa powder flavor. Service was slower that we expected. Our very friendly waitress was almost overwhelmed by the crowd, but still managed to bring us a charif of soda. If you're interested in race cars, this is the place for you! The decor is built around the automobile racing theme. There are plenty of race cars and race paraphernalia to keep your heart racing! Came here during quarantine on a Sunday. No wait to get a socially distant table. This was our first time here. The Decor was fun. There was hand sanitizer on the table. All the servers were wearing masks. Our food was pretty good. My husband and I both got burgers. The portions were large. I just have to say that their kids meals were crazy small. My extremely petite 10-year-old girl ate her buttered pasta bowl in about three minutes. It was six dollars for pasta and no drink -no sides. And it was literally like one cup of pasta cooked . Another one of my kids also got this meal but he is a bigger eater so if he ate it in three minutes fine. But then it was three dollars for a soda. if we ever go there again I would just get them a pizza to share or something. It's in a strip mall. read more

It is technically Halloween Day. However, Halloween falls on a Sunday so its also kinda the day after. Because of this, everyone at the table is hungover. We decide on this little joint in town. If I know anyone who likes cars, I will be referring them to check this place out. There is cars and car themed stuff everywhere. Literally everywhere. It's almost like they did it on purpose and made it the theme. Okay cool so we get to the table. Never in my life have I seen such a diverse menu. It honestly makes me laugh but I am not hating on it by any means. They have sushi, pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches. It's like all the school lunches for the whole school year in one day, and fancier because we know damn well the cafeteria doesn't have sushi. I got the screeching tire for my drink. I regretted it a minute later because there was a halloween drink I wanted to try but the order had already been placed before I could catch it. I did not like the screeching tire at all. I was able to chug it like a kid would cough medicine but it just wasn't my thing. Nothing against whoever made it; I think it was made right. Just not a good combination of flavors for my palate. I got the totchos for the appetizer. These were absolutely splendid. I would go back to Garage Grill for these alone. They had a ton of flavor and everything I love on a plate! I got a modified turkey sandwich for my entree. It was alright but I definitely wouldn't get it again. Not sure if there was any specific reason why I didn't like it, it just wasn't really my thing. Luckily, there's 365 other meals I can get next time I go! You know I had to cop their ranch. Their ranch was good! Great consistency and flavor. Our server was a little odd. He was insulting us a bit like we were at Dick's Last Resort and then trying to play it off like it was funny. Maybe it would be if I knew him personally. However, he was really on top of the orders, refills and all that jazz. Overall, Garage Grill is a must go. I wish I could take a little kid that is super into cars just to see his reaction to the place. It was a pretty great experience and you don't even have to be craving anything here. I stumbled upon this restaurant browsing unique restaurants in Draper and found Garage Grill. The first picture that came up was sushi nachos! Just the name alone would catch anyone attention to research for more details. After further review, I rounded up the girls to grab dinner with me to check this out! My intention was to order the sushi nachos and the winner circle burger. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers and sharing with each other. Sushi nachos were my favorite of the night. It's fried wonton wrappers sprinkled with tuna poke, imitation crab, seaweed, tobiko, avocado and sauce! Just enough "toppings" to fill each chip and bite! ($13.00) The seaweed salad was pretty standard ($5.00). The Targa Steak n Eggs was a cool take on the famous breakfast dish as an appetizer. It's presented as the deviled eggs with a couple of thin sliced steak cross crossing each other with capers and garlic aioli. ($9.00) You can never go wrong with buffalo wings. I ordered the lemon pepper dry rub and salt flats bbq sauce. Lemon pepper is my default so it's my personal favorite. The bbq sauce is pretty sweet, but still delicious. ($10.00) The Speedway Tachos are good when they are fresh. After a few minutes, the tots become soggy so you better eat fast! This dish is a plate full of tater tots, with ground beef, cheese, beans, pick de Gallo, guacamole and jalapeños. I'm not a fan of guacamole and was happy to see that the it came out, it had a special section for just the guac lovers. ($12.00). The interior and decor is so fun as it is filled with mechanic's tool belt stuff! The napkins are the oil rags. The door handle are two large wrenches. Flags and race car decor fills the restaurant creating a fun environment! We will definitely be back and check out the burger as originally planned! read more

The Garage and Grill has one of the coolest atmospheres of any restaurant in Utah. My son loves race cars, This is his favorite spot. ~ They have a HUGE menu selection and variety of food and all the food is named after cars. . They even have "sushi nachos" ( which are a must try ! ) Burgers, sandwiches, salads and many kid items. The Burgers are HUGE I got the Mustang Burger it came with House Smoked Brisket Burnt Ends, Onion Ring, Salt Flats BBQ Sauce, Bacon, Cheddar it was pretty good. The sushi wasn't out of this world but it was good. I never would've thought I could order sushi at a garage restaurant .lol . I also tried the Ruben, it was made just perfect . ~They do have a full bar . ~The service was good for us, we had a gal named Morgan she was nice, she recommended a few things for us and was pretty attentive . Saw this must try on TikTok and well we tried it. Menu had a variety to pick from. From a Cheese Burger to Poke Nachos, all was delicious. We got the Salt Flats Blond Ale and it went down smooth. Ambiance was great, for seeing on social media I thought it was going to be overcrowded and busy, but it had just the right amount of crowd. We were able to check out a few of the cars they had there and all the memorabilia. My dad, being a mechanic for over 30 years was so excited to be dining under the rally car and was giving us a 101 on all the suspension and breaks. I loved all of the garage touches, made it feel like the real deal. My only reserve was service, it was not very friendly and seemed as though it was a bother to serve us. When we were finished, we waited in the front for about 5 mins waiting to purchase a hat and some shirts, we had to ask twice for help. I am not sure if that is per usual or it was just us. This place has been pretty good each time we've gone. Its a fun atmosphere-- all the race car memorabilia. Their burger are named after famous race tracks. We usually get the Laguna Seca. That race track happens to be very close to were we are originally from ( Monterey, Ca) And also close to here Monterey is the city of Gilroy. This city is known as the "Garlic Capitol". Hence this is the Garlic Burger on the menu!!! So... special place in our hearts :) this is a great burger! We got sweet potato fries with it. This time i got Totchos... loaded tots. Think nachos but instead of tortilla chips they are (my fave potato) tots!!! What's not to love?!! Weirdly tho this place cannot seem to make up what to put on the menu! There's burgers and grilled sandwiches... typically. Some pasta (great mac n cheese!!), pizza and SUSHI! I guess its good for groups of people who like different things / different cravings/ tastes.
