A custom wood support remedy was made to address a subpar counter install completed by others when it was determined there was inadequate overhang supports installed by the counter installation crew causing a portion of the bar overhang to be unstable. The overhang specs called for support per their warranty handout and without that in the future if we experienced a counter failure like a crack, chip or ... that would cause warranty issues with the counter manufacturer's and we would be out of pocket for the repairs even if within the 10 year warranty period. Unfortunately after it was installed I paid the balance. I later realized that the 2 drawers were misaligned and a piece of mounding was missing.
