First time here and it was worth it. I was in West Palm for work and had a few hours to kill before dinner so I did a Yelp search for breweries/taproom in the downtown West Palm Beach area and this came up so decided to try it This little spot is located across the tracks from the Brightline station so it's easy to miss unless you have the GPS on or have been here before. It's an actual taproom and beer garden but what makes this unique is that it's a self pour taproom which I've always wanted to try You simply walk in, go to front desk, leave a card on file and you are given a wristband. You will see a wall with taps with 18 taps for beer from light to dark beers. You simply tap the wristband on the screen for the beer you want and pour. The tap will calculate how much you pour (it goes by ounces) so you can pour a full pint or 2 oz if you so wish. Once your done you return the wristband and it will add up the total and you can charge it to the card they have on file, which is a heat concept Also the artwork and murals are so original they instantly make you want to look. In addition to the beer taps there are additional taps around the corner to pour wines and seltzers for the non-beer drinkers which is also nice They have a taco food truck outside which I didn't try as I had dinner reservations later that night Definitely recommend this spot if ever in the area read more

Bookmarked this place since our last visit from West Palm Beach and I am so happy we got to visit in this visit! I already want to come back! After walking around the City Place, we got to rest a little at this fun, trendy Taproom. I am not new to this concept, but of all the locations that utilizes the tap and go method, this has to be my favorite location. They have ample seating inside and outside, a loft area with more seating, and a food truck outside. There's a parking lot, street parking and if need be, a parking garage not far. They have board games and a cute vending machine that sells local art. There's sustainable decor and thrifted furniture. And when you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly face and your eye immediately dart at the beautiful WPB mural. There's nothing I disliked about this place. It's even cool that you get to purchase some beers to take home if you like what you tried. Next time I come, I want to come with a group of friends... it'll be worth the drive! read more

I came here for the vegan street festival that was happening outside. Originally I was not going to drink because I am not a beer person, however they have options that is not beer. The co-owner was so nice showed me how it worked and what options they had based off what I liked. The playlist they had was just perfect to sit chill and drink. They have lots of games you can play with friends and just have this nice cozy welcoming vibe. I wish they were closer to me so I could come more often. I will definitely return. I am not sure if they have small bites of food, but it's okay there is something for everyone. read more

We waited in the area for this tap room to open at 4pm. Well worth the wait. The employee was friendly and informative about the tap process. We got our wrist bands and tried several different self serve beer right from the tap. They also offered cold or room temp craft beers from an array of beer companies. They also had a section of wines on tap too. We tried a few of several of the beers but the sour was my favorite. The prices were very reasonable. Cool decor throughout and a huge outside relax area with tables and chairs. They even had a corn hole game in progress. A popcorn machine next to the front door. This tap room is directly across from the Brightline station. Clean bathroom too. read more

Absolutely love this taproom!!! Several beers on tap, completely different flavored beer cans in the fridge, in addition to seltzers, kombucha, cider, and wine on tap (on another wall). I'm not a fan of beer, so I was really happy to discover they had 3 sour beers on tap! All the sours were delicious. Staff said they change out the beer flavors quite often too. The process to get beers is really user-friendly- it's all self pour. You simply scan the bracelet they give you before each pour, it measures the pour (each beer is a different price per ounce), and you pay at the end. The ambiance inside is my favorite part! Lots of plants and windows to let the sunlight in, colorfully painted walls and decor, an upstairs and a downstairs, an old school popcorn machine, and several games (board games, Jenga, corn hole, etc). The best part? Dogs are allowed inside and outside!!! (Despite what the official website says.) The staff was very friendly and everyone had a relaxed vibe- we were let inside 10 minutes before they even "opened", so we wouldn't have to sit outside in the heat. Will definitely be back to try out more beer, and the trivia night (every Thursday night)! read more

Unexpected find. Just opposite Brightline station in unassuming corner of large building. The only clue a lot sign advertising craft beer. Concept straightforward once explained by very helpful staff. Basically give credit card and get an electric watch strap and go choose the type and quantity of drink you want. Full pint and smart half pint glasses in abundance. 20 or so beers mostly from Florida but others as well plus three ciders and wine and alcoholic seltzers (why?). Also cans and water fountain. Cool place with upstairs room with even more laidback feel. Inside and outside seating. No sign of food but plenty of serve yourself taps so who cares. Mainly open evenings at 4. They also have trivia night but generally seemed like a simple walk in bar. Beer prices slightly high but worth it for experience. Recommended. Apparently been open 12 months. Absolutely adorable taproom! I love the concept and the staff was so friendly. We came for a rehearsal dinner so I'm not sure how the pricing works however, you get a bracelet and then you tap the bracelet again the beverage of choice and then pour as you wish, the bracelet tracks the ounces. There is a beautiful large mural wall that lets you take that banging selfie and add to your Instagram or Facebook. There's various craft beers to chose from like IPAs, stouts, lagers and more. Absolutely loved my time at the Garden District Taproom. It is a smaller self pour brewery, but gosh do they have options! There are two walls with beer, wine, cider, hard kombucha, and seltzer. I was obsessed with the cherry cola seltzer and I don't typically drink seltzers. The vibe is very relaxed and calm. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. This place just opened and I've already been several times. There's so much space - the main floor, the large outdoor garden and the little upstairs nook. I'm obsessed with all of their plants everywhere and need to put a grow light in my bathroom now. So lots of open clean space for an intimate hang or a large group! The taproom is located right between clematis and the square so a good place to start or end a day/evening outing or make a stop in between the two areas. They also have televisions and will put on any game of your choosing. Also very dog friendly! Great beer selection on tap along with some NA options in their to go fridge. It can be hard to find good IPAs on tap in Florida and they have some really good ones, so that's much appreciated. They always have popcorn for a snack but you can bring any food in as well. I know they have food trucks sometimes but I haven't been there with one present - would be great if this expands. LOVE the Garden District Taproom. First of all, the atmosphere is fun and lively. I love the way they decorated and created such a good vibe. The concept of the self-pour is so unique and the options are plentiful! If you don't drink beer or the seltzers on tap, they also have cans and high noons in a fridge separately. On top of the owners being extremely friendly and kind, this is a dog friendly place - which is my favorite type of bar. 10/10 would recommend coming here for all the events they put on weekly (trivia, music bingo, etc), and just the overall ambiance! read more

This place was my first experience with a self pour taproom- and as a former bartender and brewery taproom server- WOW do I LOVE THIS! So sure- people will complain this technology eliminates jobs, but let's be real- food and beverage service jobs kinda suck anyway, and this allows the customer to not have to wait, not have to flag down staff for another drink, or wait to pay their tab, and the best part: you won't have to spend money tipping since you serve yourself! The only improvement would be a self scan ID station where you can scan your drivers license, activate the rfid with a credit card on your own, and pay at the end without ever seeing or speaking to a human (my anti-social dream come true). So 10 stars on the self serve: iPourIt technology is almost perfect! Like it's a genius model to run a taproom.. now I only want to go to self pour breweries, bars, taprooms, and restaurants. Onto Beverage selection: there are lots of options and you can sample an ounce or fill a glass- it's up to you! I love a sour beer and they actually had more than one for me to try so that was great! The peach lemonaid sour was amazing (and gluten free). They also had an old favorite of mine: Founders Rubaues. There are a lot to try, and even picky craft beer nerds and rosé all day yoga pant wearing moms will find something they like here. Now onto the ambiance of the place: from first glance the inside is clean and bright, but kinda makes you feel like they don't want you staying too long. Like maybe it's too bright lol. While Its pretty, and the brightly colored mural is really cute, it doesn't make you want to get comfortable and settle in for a few beers like a more typical bar or lounge ambiance would- most of the seats are hard and kinda uncomfortable- and the few that are comfy are likely gunna be taken lol. It gives total coffee shop vibes in the downstairs area (think Starbucks, not Central Perk on Friends)... it's like they want you to just come in, get one drink and go. If you go upstairs, you'll notice the bathroom has a tub like a house bathroom would- but loaded with plants: sounds weird but its cool and unique! The dark colors in the bathroom feel very moody and luxurious- which doesn't completely match the vibe in the rest of the place... they should have done the whole place like the bathroom! Also bonus points for any-gender bathrooms. So much better than having overly political bathroom drama. Just pee where you wanna pee. Past the bathrooms, the upstairs seating area is a bit more cozy than downstairs, and was the spot I liked best. You get a little more of a speakeasy vibe upstairs with a more comfy sofa and some smaller tables, it feels more intimate without feeling too close to other people or crowded. Overall, It's a tiny place inside: upstairs and downstairs, so I can see how the options were limited, but comfortable seating with padding would be nice. Lastly, The outdoor area is great- feels like a typical beer garden, spacious and you can find a spot that's a little more secluded if you want. There were some games like xl Jenga, and live music while I was there too. I can't wait to come back with my travel seat cushion, and sit outside for a few hours once this heatwave is over... because I think this is my new favorite place.... And definitely where I'll be bringing my out of town friends and family when they visit. read more
