My new boo.
Teresa S.

I was in the market for a new car for the past month and it has been a stressful and traumatic experience dealing with most of these car dealerships. LOL Unfortunately, I had to buy during the period where there is a shortage of new and pre-certified vehicles so there are very little deals and negotiations. Im talking some of these dealers weren't budging and were asking for $5000 over the MSRP price which I laughed at and kept it moving. I had just left another Toyota dealer in Jersey and googled the closest Honda dealer near me and found this spot. We walked in and it was their used dealership location. A young lady , Ruby approached us and asked what I was looking for and I told her a 2021 Honda CRV EX with the colors I wanted and wouldn't compromise since I was buying new. Initially I was looking at 2 to 3 years old models within Toyota or Honda and the prices were soo high I said I might as well buy new. I was ready for the aggressive sales tactics and back and forth banter that I learned to manage and wrap up quick after visiting a few dealerships. Only this time, Ruby was just as sweet as she can be. Her style was very professional and laid back and she listened to what I wanted without trying to offer me something else which I hate! Don't get me wrong I was ready to tell Ruby no which I actually did and walked out when her "manager" wouldn't agree on the numbers. Ms. Ruby walked out and made a small counteroffer which was the best offer I'd received that didn't have me driving further south to purchase. So, I just accepted the offer because i was just exhausted and wasn't looking forward to going to another dealer at ALL. I had tried every website, "trucar, carguru. vroom, carvana" and just didn't have any success. We spent about a good three hours completing the deal. They had to bring the vehicle over from their new sales location, LOL and when it arrived I was cheesing hard. I was excited because it looked and smelled good but most importantly I didn't have to deal with the stress of continuing to look. I am pretty sure I could've haggled more but I didn't want to and I trust Honda's products. I know if Ruby was one of those aggressive salesperson I would've left. Her calmness and patience actually calmed my nerves and we sealed the deal. If you're in the market for a new or used Honda, please ask for Ruby!

The only time I received a call from the dealership, on Day 6

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE I'm submitting this review on Day 14 with no car, no answers as to what is wrong with my car or when it will be fixed, & no attempt to give me a loaner car while they make whatever repairs they need 14+ days to make. I've already filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, after I leave this and a Google review I'm contacting local news stations. I'm led to believe they've badly damaged my car since they're dodging my calls & won't call back when I do get through. 6/23/21 - Dropped my car off to get it serviced for a recall, & to diagnose an issue with my indicator lights randomly coming on. Kash was my service person, upon dropping the car off I was told "they were behind & it would be a couple of days". Red flag number one. Throughout this whole ordeal, Kash called me ONE TIME on 6/28, (Day 6) & asked if anyone had called me to let me know about my car. I said no, & he said "They're getting to it now, if you don't hear from us in 2 or 3 days call back". 7/2 - (Day 10) I called for answers & was told that "Kash is off, call back tomorrow and ask for Dina". 7/3 (Day 11) - Left a message for Dina at 7 am. After 3 hours, I start calling repeatedly, they stop answering. I call from my girlfriend's phone, they pick up immediately & said they were too busy & Dina wasn't even there. They then said "we ordered a new transmission but I don't know any other details" & gave me no answers as to why it needs a new transmission. At this point I assume that they've broken/damaged something in my car because they won't tell me anything. 7/5 (Day 13) - I call & am sent to Paul, he tells me the same thing about the transmission & says he can't give me any further details & that he'll call me back with more answers. We say we need a loaner car, it's been almost 2 weeks, we're spending a ton of money on ride shares & we need answers. He says he'll call back, but he never does. 7/6 (Day 14) - I tell my boss I'm unable to come to work because I've already paid several hundred dollars in ride shares for 2 weeks and still don't have a car.

Coffee snack station but not where you should first go. Hand white paper over to desk attendant before coming here

Scheduling a service online is easy & userfriendly on their site. It appeared to start well, I was easily able to reschedule my appt that morning when I couldn't make it. I entered the garage got greeted immediately & showed him my free oil change from purchasing my car here. Then he handed me a white paper to head on inside & wait "there" to which I assumed what I see is the waiting area straight ahead. He reassured an oil change would take less than an hour. I figured he said to have waited in the waiting room where there was coffee & bagels available. Reading a book, an hour & 15 flew by and no updates until a staff questioned why I had a white paper in the waiting room. It turns out you shouldn't have a white paper in the waiting room rather a yellow one bcuz if you didn't your service had NOT yet been initiated. He took my white paper to the desk & asked if I was told to wait by the "blue tiles" and I said no, the guy said "there" which I thought was the coffee waiting area, where else would one think to wait! It was not distinguished that one had to first wait at the benches right when you come in, one could easily miss this small area as a specific designated entrance place to be initially. There is no sign to state "Please check in here first before going into the waiting room" or have a staff checking every person in the waiting room to catch any white papers that slipped by frequently. Disappointed, had to wait a total 2.5 HOURS for an oil change despite having had an appointment made. The staff who caught the incident was very polite & professional, I greatly appreciated him understanding my dissatisfaction. I might return probably could have a better next experience, but I have checked that there is Montclair Acura or Paramus HONDA dealer nearby also.

Trim
Olga E.

I took my car for recall repair, oil change and fixing my tire trim on the front. In the few hours I received the call telling me that I need to change all 4 tires. I refused as my car is only 2 years old. When I picked up my car, the trim was not fixed properly. My fault I didn't check while there. I texted representative and she said that it was bent, well I guess I took it for the repair because it was bent. So I had to go there second time, they kind of fixed it, but said that I need to go to the body shop to resolve the problem. It was a second service call that I had to come back for redo.

Nothing wrong I guess, must be a mistake.

Horrendous customer service in Passaic. Rude, condescending and disrespectful, and uncommunicative. Mostly on the management level.

I wanted to know about the repairs that were done in this car, what type of guarantee/certification/warranty's did they offer? I also wanted to take it for a test drive. I thought I had an appointment to test drive this car and was expecting somebody to try to make me feel comfortable with the fact this this vehicle had a salvage title. They must not have been expecting me, because the car I was interested in buying was surrounded by other cars so I wasn't able to take it for a test drive without them moving the other cars that was surrounding this one. I think the person that was attempting to sell me this car had 0 sales experience. I'm over 40, with my wife and looking to buy a used luxury convertible. He says " this is the type of first car I had and I got all the bitches." Don't make customers feel small by bragging about being spoiled, do you think me and my wife are trying to pick up bitches? Anyway, I looked at the car which was damaged on every panel, while he opened up the top right into the car behind it, and kept asking me "are you financing". No, I'm not doing $#!*, you are wasting my time! Without any effort to move the other cars, the guy explained to me that the owner gives them a hard time letting people test drive the cars because technically they're not insured! What type of business are you running?! We went inside and then some sales person tried to explain to me the difference between a "rebuilt" title and a " salvage" title, even though in insurance, we used these terms interchangeably. Finally, I told them they were wasting my time, I felt uncomfortable, and left.

I read the reviews while sitting there and was on the fence, I really should have listened! We spent 8 hours AT this rundown dealership to overpay for a car that there is NO WAY they actual do a work up on at all. They barely even detail the cars. They told us the reason the car fax didn't show a lot of work done in the car was because the owner did it all on his own and was really meticulous and careful, he just didn't log what he did. how gullible are we?!? Please know this is a HUGE red flag! Within two weeks the car was stalling while driving, the scratch plate beneath the engine was black and showed signs of oil leaks, cabin air filter was BLACK. It's $15 to replace, they couldn't even check that? What a pathetic dealership. We tried contacting the dealership tons of time and they blew us off over and over again. Also, we paid for the brunt of the car in cash and had to put $8k on a debit card and they literally tried to make us pay an extra 3% to cover their credit card fees!...THEIR business expenses. That's a JOKE. Please really be warned! These reviews aren't nonsense, it's a pretty terrible place to get a car from.

The fact that service area closes at 5pm sucks but my experience with the Bellavia service department correcting problems covered by the extended warranty that they sell has been stellar! James was great with explaining the process and the repairs needed. NO ONE tried to up sell me a service I did not need on any of my service visits. I repeat NO ONE. When was the last time you took your car anywhere for servicing where some one did not try to up sell you something additional? So in my opinion if you need to buy car that you plan on holding on to until it's not worth repairing buy it from Bellavia and don't forget to buy their extended warranty.l because they stand by it. Yes you might need to wait for an appointment but it is so worth it. James N told me he was just doing his job when he called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. James was awesome! I would go somewhere else with your car. Update: Bellavia won't state how the incident happened, basically because they know their technician drove carelessly. I feel cheated, fooled, scammed, or anything els you want to call it after losing 15k$ just because I didn't do enough research about this untrusted dealership, Don't be fooled like me with their reviews Online. First I got an Audi Q7 with 86k miles on them for 23k$ with lemon law protect me for 1 month. After only 40 days of purchasing this car, smoke came out from the engine on my way from Connecticut to nyc on the highway, when i called the dealer (owner) and said you sold me a broken car. He basically told me "you can talk all you want on the phone and you won't get anything out of this" straight up direct he scammed me with a piece of shit that i paid a lot for. Of course he knows there's a problem with the car, and he sold it with only one month warranty and the problem happened only 10 days after the warranty ended. I called many lawyers and went around the city trying to get my rights and i couldn't have anything to be on my side. After purchasing used cars for 10 years and having tons of experience, This have been by far my worst experience ever. I went to fix the car at Audi for 1998$ cash cuz the car wouldn't event move, I had to tow it. After healing from this number i paid on top of this car, only 2 month after a bigger problem appeared. The engine burn oil and need an entire new engine for 10,000$. I sold this piece of crap and lost 15,000$ in cash in just 4 month With running only 4K miles on them. AVOID THIS DEALER, not only he didn't help at all or offer anything when the problem happened, but also he was rude with me when i tried to tell him about the broken car. Also the guy who sold me the car his name is Tom Sina, and haven't been any help whatsoever. Of course he stood by the owner side once i had these problems with the car. Make the right choices before you buy a car from there.
