Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m., and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the combo lamb and beef wrap. The wrap itself was more like a Mexican-style flour tortilla than a traditional pita, but it actually worked well and held everything together nicely. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was flavorful and tasted freshly prepared. My only criticism is that the portion was on the small side, especially considering the price. Overall, though, it was a tasty, fresh meal, and I'd be happy to stop by again.

Incredible service! They checked in on us and got us refills for water. Casual spot / walk up to order We enjoyed the food (the kebab plate was a bit on the smaller side so left a bit hungry) but the flavors were great. We enjoyed the wrap as well -- it was nice and succulent. Pita was soft

As someone who's not a huge fan of Turkish food in general, garlic was able to change my mind completely! I tried the iskender Kebab plate a the Turkish Pizza (lahmajun) and both were very flavorful and filling. The Turkish pizza is only nine dollars and it's a meal on its own but if you're feeling very hungry than you can get two of them, which I love doing. Another option that's more of a plate, is the iskender which came with yogurt and was meet with cut up pieces of bread, and I hadn't had anything like it before, but everything paired very well together and the meat was very tender, juicy and flavorful. I tried their wraps as well, but I will say the two I mentioned are my top options every time.

Food: Definitely try the chicken shish! The combo shish also comes with another meat and hummus too! Service: Very friendly owners and workers!!!

3.5 Food was solid. But it was pretty pricey for the portions. Though there aren't other restaurants that are truly a 1:1 comparison, there's other Mediterranean restaurants that do kebabs that have a slightly better price point. Got the iskender kebab ($25) and side of Turkish kofta ($12). I've never had these dishes before so wanted to try. Loved the iskender kebab. The meat was flavorful and the tomato sauce as well. The Turkish kofta was solid but prob not something I'd need to try again. Overall, wish the price point was slightly lower but if you do stop by def try the iskender kebab. I haven't seen it at any other restaurant

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is not fancy or anything but I felt a very friendly homey vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted as soon as we got in. You order at the register. They have pictures of the menu items on the wall so it was easy to see the dishes. My friend and I both got the kebab plate but I opted for chicken shish kebab while she got the beef/chicken combo. After we sat down the worker told us that she would bring fresh pita bread in a bit. The portions are good and really filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great option for lunch spot and it was not super crowded on a Saturday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Got the top right, the Adana Kebab Plate. 5 stars

Today (8-18-2025) was my first time at Garlic Mediterranean. First impression was that of Irfan, the owner, greeting me and giving me a food recommendation. Then showing me the fresh kebab as he laid it on the grill. It was like a friend showing you their trade at a family BBQ. Just a really inviting impression that made me feel welcome. As I sat at my table, I had a moment of regret that this place might be like the Greek Spot where they have overly tough meat they pass on as "steak" and overly saturated salad. Irfan brought me the Adana Plate. I always taste the sides first and the rice flavor jumped out as me as something special. Full of flavor, a politely tasteful hint of cinnamon or star anise spice (or something else), and not dry! Lots of Greek places think people don't notice boring rice. Garlic got it right. The next surprise was the baba ghanoush. DELICIOUS. I wanted a pint of it after the first bite. And I hadn't even gotten to the meat yet. The kebab was laid atop a thin slice of pita that soaked up its goodness, and actually kept the plate clean (such a cool idea!). Delicious, perfect amount of salt, wonderfully spiced and every bite was a delight. The salad had just a hint of too much dressing but look at the picture and see that there wasn't a single wilted or old piece of lettuce. This is what pushed me to give 5 stars because attention to detail was off the charts. Lastly, the baklava was nicely soaked with honey syrup and had a crunchy top. You really can't ask for more than that. It was a truly decadent dessert that had me thinking about it an hour after consuming it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the seating area is open, warm, and full of light with easy viewing of the kitchen grill - my favourite spot in any restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To Irfan, I'd like to wish health to your hands - Eline sağlık.

my FAVORITE mediterranean place in the south bay. it's a very cute mom and pop restaurant with delicious food. my favorite is the lahmacun and the adana kabob plate. my bf isnt really a lamb person but he LOVES their lamb and their hummus as well. i also love their turkish tea and baklava, it's the perfect finish to a meal. they also have these wet wipes they give you at the end which is so kind of them. the owner and his team are very sweet and friendly as well. i love dining and order take out from them! highly recommend.

This place is sooooo gooood!!!!! Definitely will return for more :p Food: everything was served warm and freshly made. Portion size is prefect for me. Really enjoyed the pita bread! Service: super friendly and polite staff. Order at the cashier and they will bring the food over. Ambiance: it's a small shop but with a good amount of tables. Very casual setting and good for hangouts!

Catering - chicken shish kebab, grilled veggies, rice, Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki, pita.
    Veronica C.

Our team got catering from here. The food was delicious, and honestly a welcome change from the usual stuff our team orders. We had the chicken shish kebab, falafel, greek salad, rice, hummus and pita bread, and what I presume is a grilled veggie platter. All the flavors were good, and I especially loved how even the white rice was flavored too. The chicken was slightly dry, but there was plenty of hummus and tzatziki to top it with. A good variety of food to satisfy different diets, and definitely a good go-to if you're ordering catering.

    Worst Gyro ever,

Worst Gyro ever, burnt tortilla in stead of an actual pita. Asked for no lettuce, I get nothing but meat. Ask for it to be fixed, get it back spicy so I can't eat it.

I really like how they season the lamb&beef gyro here. Also, good meat quality and the rice is perfectly cooked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chill place to dine in and owner is super welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They have interesting menu which makes everyone confused which one to get lol

We got: - dolmades mezes starter: it was warm and had beef in it which was unexpected -- I'm almost certain we had a different version of these before that did not have meat and were served cold, I have never really loved these lol but my partner has really enjoyed the cold version before because he found it really refreshing. The warm one was interesting, still enjoyable to him but not as much as before - beef souvlaki plate with fries instead of salad: I loved this! I asked for no lettuce, and the server said I could switch out the salad for fries instead. The beef was so tender and flavored well, super savory, and I absolutely LOVE the olive dip that comes with this dish. The fries were okay! I enjoyed dipping them into the olive dip. - swordfish souvlaki wrap no lettuce with fruit: option to get fries instead, but we got fruit. My mom liked it! I tried some of the swordfish and it had a nice light flavor, quite tender and very nice. I've also gotten the grilled branzini before, which is a whole entire fish. Warning that you may need to use your hands to eat this directly lol I really enjoyed this dish too! When we arrived, they mentioned we could sit anywhere we wanted. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors so it was a tad warm but they provide shade. There is a tent as well with a plastic surrounding but as for any restaurant with these plastic surroundings, I always find the plastic smell so strong and offputting, so we sat at the tables instead where they have umbrellas providing a lot of shade. We sat next to a bougainvillea bush which also provides us shade and some entertainment as little birds hopped back and forth inside the bush and then out of it to nearby tables, looking for food. So cute! Parking can be found in the lot behind the restaurant, but the entrance is still found around the other side of the building, on the side of the outdoor seating. You can also park on the side of the street in front of the restaurant, but there's less shade. We arrived at a 3pm on a Friday with almost no one else there, so once our whole party was present we got service immediately. The food takes some time to cook but as mentioned, it's delicious. Overall a really cute restaurant!
