Absent…read moreadult teeth, an extra tooth coming in behind her two front teeth, gaps in her smile, you name it. Fast forward 6 years later and she is finally getting her braces off after 28 months of treatment! Yay, yay, yay! The first few years they were conservative and monitored her with X-rays every 6 months until all of her baby teeth fell out on their own. I was appreciative that they didn't rush her into braces. In fact, I went to another orthodontist for a second quote (which was comparable) and they wanted her to go to a regular dentist, get EIGHT teeth pulled, and have her come back to get braces on ASAP. She was 11 years old at the time and I felt like they were being aggressive and trying to lock us in by making it sound like it was urgent and not normal that she hadn't lost all her baby teeth yet. Feeling pressured by the other orthodontist, I went back to R&P, (even felt guilty I "cheated" on them) and told the Dr. what the other orthodontist told us, and they said they didn't see any need for her to have multiple tooth extractions and she was fine to wait. I felt so relieved and trusted them 100%! We waited and she ended up only needing one tooth out that was being stubborn, and she was able to get her braces on middle of 7th grade. She will need a bridge placed today at her regular dentist (Tempe Dental Care, which is awesome also, btw) and her smile will be complete! We are more than happy with the care and treatment here at R&P at both the Gilbert and Mesa locations. Everyone is super helpful, sweet, and professional. We financed her braces and her total treatment was just under $5k, given she had a complicated case. I definitely recommend this practice! So glad we chose them as out orthodontist.

What I liked most from my first cleaning I just had here: -Upon entering their reception they had a cute chalk welcome board with new patients' names (the thoughtful touch is nice) -The dental hygienist that did my cleaning was a joy to converse with and her cleaning job was gentle and also thorough -Also brought in my retainers and they offered to clean them for me right away -Dentist is super friendly and extremely helpful as I learned something new about my retainers at that appointment (his wife is the orthodontist there) -The photos of the dentist's family spread across the office was also nice to see (I love people who cherish their families) Looking forward to my next visit postpartum.

Well ever since Dr. Nichols left, my care at Frost Ortho was never the same. In fact I would have to explain what I wanted for my smile every time I sat down and saw a new doctor. I never once saw Dr. Frost. My smile was already beautiful but I had two gaps in my teeth to close. The only progress I saw was when I was under Dr. Nichols care. In my photos you'll see how amazing my smile was just under 3 months of Dr. Nichols care. Guys after three years, thousands of dollars and inconsistent care, I am very unhappy to report that my gaps are still in my teeth AND my smile shows less teeth than when I came in. Overall so sad to leave such a terrible review. I also called them to inform them that my gaps was reopening and they said they would call me back and never did. I was a little nervous about switching providers but Dr. Judd made the transition seamless. He had an office in Queen Creek where most of my appointments were held, but sold that office in 2024 shortly after I completed my treatment. I visited this Mesa office several times for scans and a follow up after the other office closed. He took the time and care to evaluate my case and gave me his honest, professional opinion. He recommended switching to metal braces for my lower teeth as it was the better and more effective option for my needs. Invisalign just wasn't going to get the job done the way we had hoped. He was also upfront about the fact the due to my past dental work, my smile wouldn't be "perfect," but he made sure I was truly happy with the end result before completing my treatment plan.
