You must go see Dr. Couser for adult braces!!! I cannot stress enough what a wonderful experience I have had!! I was in Reveal straighteners for almost 1 1/2 years and they completely destroyed my bite and alignment. I went to Dr. Couser and 4 1/2 months later, the braces are off and my teeth are perfect!! He and his staff are wonderful and professional! The office is always a fun and happy environment to walk into! Dr. Couser is the absolute best at his craft! Our first 3 children had braces elsewhere and the results were mediocre. Several years later it was momma's turn and I found Dr. Couser. I was both excited and nervous as I am not a fan of dental work and had trepidation. Dr. Couser and his entire staff were very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The amazing customer service did not end at the first visit. Every visit I was met Dr. C's contagiously positive energy, and ability to make you feel at ease by never rushing and always taking time to ask if there were any questions or concerns. I had terrific results with Dr. Couser and was proud to showcase my beaming new smile. A few years later our fourth & fifth children had braces and Dr. Couser was amazing. Once again we were delighted to see the friendly staff and impeccably clean office. When our last child needed braces we had moved across the country. We were completely and utterly disappointed every step of the way. The day his braces came off my heart broke when my son looked in the mirror and said, "my teeth look terrible, I'm so embarrassed." I emailed Dr. Couser the After pictures to get his opinion, he was gracious enough to promptly give me a call. He too agreed the job was not well done at all. Dr. C said he would be happy to help. I booked a plane ticket and our son had braces put on three days later (Dr. Couser fit him in over Christmas holiday). We continued to fly him out and the office worked him in for each appointment based on when flights were least expensive. He just had the braces removed in June 2024. Just finished my fourth kids' braces here! Happy as we are to have everyone out of braces we loved our time there! Such a great vibe in the office, and the staff was so understanding when I would occasionally forget about an appointment (which is so rude I know)! that meant a lot to me when I was already embarrassed; they assured me all was well and then quickly got me in. Don't listen to bad reviews-it's silly politics. He is unapologetically patriotic and supports first responders and the community, which is not always appreciated. read more

After completing my braces I am reluctant to say I would not recommend this office to anyone. The employees are very nice but my teeth were hardly changed and I'm still very unhappy with my bite (my whole reason for wanting braces for the 2nd time in my life. 1st time I was a kid and didn't regularly wear my retainer once my wisdom teeth came in so my 2 front teeth became slightly crowded) I wore the braces 8 months longer than Dr. Couser originally estimated. Which ended up cutting way too close to my wedding date. This place is more affordable than others, but not good quality work. read more

Dr. Couser is an amazing Orthodontist! We see Dr. Jensen at A to Z pediatric dentistry right next-door to his Queen Creek office and when it was obvious that my son needed to see an orthodontist for a consultation we walked directly next-door. Because of his staff getting us in for a consult that day and Dr. Couser taking the time to talk to me about what my son needed, the VERY reasonable cost, and answering all of our questions we literally walked out of the office with braces on my eight-year-old that same day! My other two kids will definitely be getting braces with Couser Orthodontics when the time comes, as I am sure it will. The staff is all very knowledgeable and confident, all of my sons follow up appointments have been very time efficient and thorough. read more

This is long but I want to share the details behind the poor score. Dr. Couser seems friendly, but that is really all that I liked about this practice. Every visit was rushed. Every question we had asked, Dr. Couser expertly avoided. Felt like our treatment plan was just one of a few templates and he cannot be bothered with questions. My son and I had very different teeth and got identical treatment plans. 11 month period (although he collected from my insurance the cost for the standard 18-24 month plan). At the beginning of the braces application he shaved our teeth without our consent! Our teeth were not even overly crowded. Later I noticed an asymmetrical curvature on my lower set that developed shortly after getting the braces and was worsening each visit. I sent him pictures and told him in person too. Based on my research this can happen and can be corrected by adjusting and applying the correct pressure to move the tooth or teeth in the proper direction. Never did he address it. Now there is a significant change to my bite! I keep biting my inner lip! When I showed him how bad it was he simply shaved the top of my tooth. I was so shocked and all I was able to say was no please stop thank you. I hate the experience and I hate the results. Now let me share the final straw why I'm writing this negative review-- it's how Dr. Couser just keep trying to make me and my son second guess our own observations and feelings of dissatisfaction. My 14yo son said that the first time he got his upper teeth retainers (end of Sept), one side felt off like it was taller or sitting lower. He didn't articulate it that way but used the word "weird" to describe it, and I actually remember this interaction (no big deal, I thought it was just the new retainers naturally feeling "weird") so orthodontist dismissed my son's concern as usual and reassured him with a beaming smile that "It's great". On the 3rd month checkup my son actually mentioned the "awkward fit" and Dr. Couser basically said the same canned response "no it's great". Then at 5mos there is physical evidence of unevenness Dr. Couser blames grinding. If my son was a grinder our dentist would have known, like I'm sure he would have advised against the clear plastic retainers he knew we were getting from this orthodontist. Since getting those BS responses and treatment from Dr. Couser my son got refitted at another practice and that second opinion validated everything we felt and thought about Couser. Anyways I just want everyone to be aware so you don't have to deal with much incompetence and arrogance the way we did. read more
