At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. Just days before my appointment, I received a text message stating that their hygienist had left the practice and that they would not be able to accommodate me until October--an additional four-month wait. What is especially frustrating is that the message made it sound as though there was only one hygienist in the entire practice, which I know is not the case. Staffing issues and scheduling challenges should not come at the expense of patients' oral health. Waiting months for a cleaning is already difficult enough, but to be notified only days before the appointment after I had already adjusted my work schedule is extremely disappointing.
