It's my first time here, I try to get to the location and due to some insurance mishaps my appt location and time had been changed a few times. I arrived to the Crossroads location and quickly found out I arrived to the wrong one. Rushed over and even CALLED the front desk to let them know I was arriving late as a courtesy. As I walk in the front girl screening the appt just started repeating over and over how I was late and the tone was just annoyed right off the bat. Even another lady trying to come in was given attitude so quick too, but watched her as she picked and chose who to be nice to when walking in and out. ON TOP OF HAVING A WHOLE CONVERSATION ON HER CELLPHONE IN THE LOBBY out loud in front of us. Luckily they took me. Accepted my insurance and payment, the girls behind the window were a little nicer at least. The back office staff , especially the girl that took me back was much more pleasant. The conversation was there and the overall vibe was better from her. Finally seen Dr Baez. Super pleasant. Still took me in for my rather short 5 min visit and I was very satisfied. Point being, you can tell when you enjoy your job and when you don't. People can too.

I will admit that a few years ago there were some problems with the staff and scheduling but when I brought it to her attention, she and the other doctors took care of it in short order. She is not only a general practitioner but and OB GYN so occasionally there have been waiting issues over the years due to a delivery, but I have never had to wait more than about 10 minutes in several years. When I became eligible for Medicare, I did more research and was careful to make sure that the plan I selected included her.

Anytime I have to call them on the phone or when I see them at the clinic, they always welcome me with a warm greeting and genuine concern for what I need. When I'm out of my prescriptions and need a refill, I call on the phone and speak with Maria. Most doctors would have you come in to see you just to get that extra fee, even if you've just seen them recently. But less than a minute on the phone and 5 minutes later, my refills have been requested and sent to the pharmacy. Thank you to Dr. Narvasa, Maria and her wonderful staff for making me feel like family when visiting the clinic and making a call to request for refills. I know I've called more than my fair share for requests. Not only do I feel like I'm getting the best care, but I see that the doctor always keeps up to date on the latest medicine as she goes to conventions and seminars. If there's a new medicine out there that would be better for me, she'll definitely let me know. If you're looking for a new PCP, make sure to visit Dr. Narvasa!

Also, if you verbalize that you don't want to take the medication and you give her valid reasons, she scolds you and concluded by saying "well I'm going to put you on ...... anyways". They advised that there was no wait at that moment but wasn't sure about later on, which I understand. Got there approx 20 min later and it was pretty empty (thank goodness) and the process was pretty straightforward with the medical staff being super nice and knowledgeable! 100% recommend for non-life threatening medical issues!

Once we made it in they said it was $120 because she was now 18. The same service and same forms were going to be filled out. No change in service. Had we known this she would've gone elsewhere. Sad because she's still a student paying cash for her physical. It's unfortunate because all kids get their physicals done here twice a year for their sports and now they will not.

This is my experience:…read more My husband and I were patients of Dr. Benton's for several years. In that time we liked dealing with him but found his staff to be unfriendly, discourteous, and unhelpful. But we kept seeing him because we liked him. We ultimately changed doctors because on two occasions (one for each of us) he prescribed a medication without discussing the long-term effects of the medication and treatment (my husband's case) or stating that the medication would not cause the harmful side-effects associated with other meds in that class and being wrong (in my case). In both cases we have suffered long-term negative effects from these treatments. We should have been informed this was a possibility (in my husband's case) and a definite (in my case). I recommend finding a different doctor. You have to be able to rely on what your health care provider tells you.
