By that point, I had tried everything: eliminating caffeine, acupuncture, medication, expensive mouth guards, chiropractor, physical therapy, you name it. Going to the dentist is super fun - said no one ever. Unfortunately, for me, going was almost a weekly occurrence growing up. Sugary snacks, poor brushing habits, and close to a decade of braces made my dentist the first phone number circled in our white pages. Fortunately, it's been several years since that phase of my life and I had learned the error of my ways. Still, it had been over a year since I had my last cleaning and I wanted somewhere closer to Brookline. I turned to Yelp and found Dr. Login. I asked my former roommate who is now actually a dentist if she went to any dentist around the area and she actually mentioned him so that sealed the deal for me. Walking in, the office felt similar to other dentist's office I have been in but definitely had a clean feel to it. I was a new patient and they forgave me for being a few minutes late and told me about complementary water and coffee while I wait (which I realize now is a little ironic). I would say the best part of this place was that they seem to try to make you feel as comfortable as possible with your visit both in the questions they ask on the form as well as during the cleaning. She checked every few minutes to see if I was alright. The whole process took about an hour for the cleaning and I would have to reschedule for an exam by Dr. Login which I believe is typically their procedure. It was one of the more pleasant experiences of the multitude of experiences I have had in a dentists office and everyone was super nice. The only thing is his schedule is so packed as well as with Jewish holidays in October, my exam with him is two months from now. Overall, pleasant experience and friendly staff! read more

This place really is as good as it gets! I lived in Somerville/Cambridge for almost four years and moved to LA less than a year ago. I just had a terrible dental experience here in LA so I had to review on the best dental experience I've ever had... Dr. Login! Dr. Login came highly recommended by a friend. Upon arrival my very first time, all the staff, the receptionist, hygienist, and dentist, were so kind, warm, and holistic in that they really approached me as a whole person, not just another patient to whisk in and out. I almost looked forward to my appointments here because they were so relaxed. I have sensitive gums and Dr. Login really took that into consideration and gave me options on how to make my experience more comfortable. I've become more holistically minded over the years and was concerned about their use of fluoride. When I asked them about it, the hygienist answered my questions and also alerted Dr. Login so that he could discuss my concerns with me, as well. In 2007 I had my wisdom teeth extracted, so Dr. Login helped me to get set up with the oral surgeon right across the hall. Again, an easy, relaxed procedure that I had no anxieties about. Whenever I left the office, I felt I understood everything that they had done that day because they always took the time to explain things as they were doing them. I always received feedback on my dental health and I always had a plan for long-term care. If I hadn't moved to LA, I would've continued seeing Dr. Login for as long as I needed to. Gary is the best dentist I could ever ask for!! I'm no longer one of his patients since I moved to another state, but since I haven't found a good dentist yet in my new state, I miss his clinic! Him and the whole staff were always super friendly and professional. I would go every so often to Gary because of my Invisalign procedure and every visit was always very pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and patient and would always explain to me what was happening or going to happen with the next Invisalign trays, the changes that would happen to my teeth, etc. I actually liked going to the dentist back then to see my next Invisalign progress. Wow! The staff was so great and kind, they do a full patient intake when you go for your first visit. They even ask what your anxiety level is for being at the dentist. The dental assistant Anexhla was so sweet and friendly and did a throughout and fast job while doing x-rays. I saw Dr. Satler who was focused, quick, and very nice to talk to. The dental work they do is good. I did go based on one of there implant $2000 packages. Winds up being more than that when all is said and done. Dont be fooled. I went back to my regular dentist. They suggested doing a bunch of cavities I did not really need. My regular dentist said the cavitities they did drill, really did not need to be done. They suggest you needed work. Its not complete fabrication. It was like you have an extremely small cavity, you dont notice, that does not really need to be fixed yet. Like an old filling, with an almost microscopic small amount cavity and they say needs to be replaced for multiple teeth. The hygenist is great. If you get lured in by a cheap implant deal, then they say you meed a whole bunch of cavities you didnt know you needed done, youve been warned. This was many years ago, so I know that all those cavities they suggested I get done where really not needed. To bad. read more

I have been going there for a year after I read some great reviews. In general, I don't have complaint regarding the dentist or hygienist but I experienced issue that they overcharged me for the dental procedure. I had some work done and I had to pay from my own pocket for the portion that my insurance did not cover. I was told that the price I was paying was reasonable, so I trusted and paid. Later, I got a bill summary from my insurance company and after careful review and phone conversation with the insurance agent, I learned that what they charged me was more than what they were supposed to charge = they over charged me! I notified the dental office and they slowly responded that they would refund the difference back to me. However, they did not do so promptly and I had to keep following up with them to get the money back, which I found quite annoying and inconvenient. I suggest that if you have to pay from your own pocket for a procedure, make sure to review your bill summary carefully from the insurance company that you are not overcharged. read more

So back in October of 2015 I was feeling very down about the condition and appearance of my smile. I had some issues with my teeth at a young age and that I had been putting off and finally did some research online for full mouth reconstructive surgery and Gary Login had by far some of the best results and reviews by far in the New England Area. He was able to see me the next day after booking the appointment. Dr. Login is a nice guy and everyone at the practice is very kind and friendly. They seem to have a close-knit community there, which I like. I've had one cleaning at his office, which went well and I was happy with. Then I got a filling done by Dr. Login. He seemed pretty careless during the procedure; he cut the inside of my cheek near my gum, which was hurting me still for two days after I got the filling. He also dropped a small, pointy, metal piece from his drill into my mouth and frantically looked for it, before finally finding it and getting it out. If I had swallowed it, it could have been a serious medical problem. The worst part was he didn't even acknowledge that either of these things happened. This was my first filling with him, so maybe he was just having an "off" day, but I'm not willing to risk getting any other work done by him after that experience. read more
