Took the credit hit and I started shopping for flights to Kentucky. Then the a relayed message from the "manager" came up telling me they wouldn't sell the truck to an out-of-state buyer. Wouldn't even speak to me on it. Disappointing to take the credit hit but good thing I didn't book the $400+ plane ticket first. Here's what doesn't make sense: if you have a policy against selling to out-of-state buyers, why advertise your inventory nationwide? Why spend time working a deal and preparing paperwork only to pull the plug because of where the buyer lives? It feels like either the dealership doesn't know its own policies or they don't value customers' time. Either way, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. A simple "we only sell to Kentucky residents" at the beginning would have saved everyone the wasted time.

The Honda website sent me to this dealership, as one that might have what I wanted in stock. Isaac called me back the same day, answered my questions over the phone, and we made an appointment for the weekend to test drive the car. On the day of my appointment, Isaac phoned to tell me that the car in question had $2000 worth of dealer add-on upgrades installed, and he wanted to be honest and fair by telling me this before I drove from Louisville to see the car. I drove down to Frankfort and test drove 2 CR-Vs. There was absolutely no pressure to buy... Isaac was fair and honest through the whole process. I decided on a CR-V sport hybrid, and Isaac was able to tell me down to the week when it would arrive on the lot. I put down a deposit, and Isaac kept me updated by text about my car (when it was being built, and where it was in the shipping process). Three weeks later my new baby arrived! I love it so much, and I tell everyone who is in the market for a Honda to go and see Isaac. (In fact, he may need to send me a gift card for all of the referrals...LOL!) Excellent customer service, friendliness, honesty... not words I would use for car dealerships I've dealt with in the past. But you will find all of the above at Neil Huffman Honda of Frankfort. We called and they said they were behind so our car stayed overnight for an oil change. We have a brand new 2026 civic sport. We had to go out of town so we had our daughter pick up. We werent mad, we know things happen. Then, came home and seen missing 2 tire pressure plugs. Okay no biggie, paid 8 bucks for their laziness. Then, 2 weeks later, kept hearing a weird sound when driving on Leestown going under the bridge. Road had some "small bumps" but nothing out of the typical terrain. Got home, jacked up one side to see the skid plate missing not 1 but 2 middle screws. The edge screws were there but not the 2 middle ones. This was sagging and hitting just the tiniest bumps in the road. Pure laziness and LACK OF QUALITY of work. I can consider this 3 strikes for one event. So here we are doing repair to our 2026 new car. Good luck if you use them for service.

We filled out an online request form and someone contacted my husband. He made an appointment to see someone today at 9am. We got there and we were welcomed. Everyone was really kind and had such an upbeat and cheerful attitude. A really nice guy named Billy O'Banion helped us out. We took the car out to see how it drove. I was able to sit up front with my husband and we jokingly said that he gets the backseat drivers license. They were very kind and were able to work with us in getting a good deal for the car that we got. In addition, we were able to get 2 year/24 month complimentary service that will cover our car with synthetic oil, tire rotation, filling of fluids and more!! It took us about 3 hours and 50 minutes to go through the entire process; but it was worth it!! We will not hesitate to do business with them again! So thankful for their willingness to help us.

I ended up going to Douglas Wheel & Tires in Frankfort instead. I was willing to pay more if need be so long as I did not have to go to Bob Allen after speaking with them on the phone, but it turned out that Douglas Wheel & Tires was actually cheaper as well!
