When they told me over $600 to fix it, I came to pick up my truck. Then they told me I owed $90 for telling me something I already knew! What happened to the advertised "Free analysis?" Tried to call and get information regarding a repair of my radiator. When I explained my problem the person on other end of line abruptly interrupted me and said,"we don't work on that". I replied, "thanks for your polite response to my question". There are ways of dealing in a courteous way with customers, this wasn't one of them. Gary is a good mechanic and can work on just about all aspects of the vehicle. He did some good work on my car. However, I'll let you be the judge if it is a place to take your car. In February 2015 and March 2015 I spent a whopping $2612.77 at this shop, most of which on him 'trying' to correct a hard starting problem. During that numerous visit period he installed a part on suspicion that did not correct the problem but it did create a new one. I phoned him to tell him that he installed a defective part [the part was $53.00 + labor] and I wanted it replaced [under warranty]. He said he was busy and that he would schedule me soon. Three e-mails, another telephone call, and five months later I still did not have the warrantied part replaced. Finally on August 24, 2015, nearly six months later, I paid $86.50 for another local repair shop to replace the defective part; problem solved. I should not have had to spend the $86.50; Gary should have replaced it under warranty and I should not have had to worry for six months about a false warning light. read more
