Great pastries and service! Highly recommend. Super fresh lavash too. Check it out! Very clean and welcoming too

Lavash was delish Got some of their assorted cookies and they were all very flaky, buttery, and incredibly well made so I have no complaints. Cream puffs were so delicious and I loved the cream filling: it was incredibly light and did not carry an overpowering taste of sugar. Not pictured but we also ordered their napoleon and micado and they were both good. I want to especially highlight their honey cake that was definitely better than a couple of other places that I've been too, and have been favorites among my friends who have also visited this bakery. The person working the counter was incredibly patient and friendly as we were picking out desserts and I felt very welcome at the store.

Complimentary lavash from one of the lovely bakers. It was HUMONGOUS!!!

This bakery is very small. They only really offer maybe 3 to 5 different baked goods, or at least that was the case when my family and I decided to stop in at around maybe 1:30 in the afternoon on Wednesday. The woman who works the sore front is very sweet. Her English is great and She was able to translate some of the Armenian that was being spoken, in description of the baked items, to us. That was very nice. Also, she was so gracious as to offer my daughter fresh lash. It's very fun to watch the bakers through their window. You can see them, rolling out the dough and baking the bread. Some of the bread slices that they have two were pretty impressive looking. Aside from the lavash, we didn't order anything. We thought maybe we would try it another time. But to see what kind of stuff they had was fun. The bakery itself is so clean. I am talking about like eat off the countertop without any hesitation, clean. There is free parking in the parking lot in this little plaza. Sometimes during the middle of the day it gets pretty busy because the shakey's pizza parlor just across from it draws a lot of attention and business with their lunch buffet. They didn't seem to have a whole lot of foot traffic but maybe we missed the morning rush?

I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). EVERYTHING was fresh. Everything was tasty. And it got the stamp of approval from the baker friend. The cream cheese and sour cherry stuffed bakery literally disappeared in 10 minutes, and that thing was not small by any means. I returned to this same place the following week to pick up some savory baked goods for some friends, and the owner was at the shop and was so kind and so proud of his products (as he should be). Needless to say this is going to be my bakery of choice. I'd drive past 5 shops to get to this one any day.

Stopped by because I've been on an Armenian pastry trend at this time. I ended up grabbing some nazook, medium lahmajun, and also decided to give the beef khachapuri kabob a try as I haven't seen that offered at other spots I've tried. Service was quick and on point and the lahmajun did take about 10-15 minutes as they make them fresh. They have a pretty expansive patio where you can enjoy your goodies and hang out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is mostly street parking, but I managed to snag a spot a few blocks away. As for the food, the nazook is amazing and better than a few other bakeries I've tried in Glendale. The lahmajun was also amazing and very flavorful with a good amount of meat. And lastly, the beef khachapuri kabob was amazing! It had that nice smoky charcoal flavor in the meat and worked well with the surrounding pastry. Definitely will be back again and bringing friends to this Glendale gem!

Well, I needed to meet up with a friend who recently moved into the area and he suggested this place because it was a new spot he and his lady started frequenting. So, when I got there I realized this place is the ENTIRE BLOCK!! It's MASSIVE!! (I apologize about no pics this time - but, I'm pretty sure this will be a regular spot for me!) When you walk in the place almost takes your breath away. WOW! The cases are clear and amazingly stocked. It's beautiful. Check out the menu for items but, I had four different things - 2 savory and two sweet - and I was super excited. The service was also super attentive. Very helpful. Parking is plentiful. The place is clean. Indoor outdoor seating. Dog-friendly. This is a place to frequent and support.

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. I tried the Strawberry Soft Cream Cake, Berries cake, Curry Croquette, and their signature iced Korean lattes. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. It was my first time trying and the spices didn't amaze my palette. I will have to try their garlic bread next time if I feel like getting something savory. Their sweets are always a hit for me! Overall, the staff was friendly and greeted customers warmly as they come in. Small parking lot at this location but still worth the wait. Good visit!

Unfortunately, after that, I never heard back. It's disappointing because it initially seemed like they wanted to make things right, but nothing was ever resolved. Giving away a cake that had been pre-ordered two weeks in advance for my daughter's birthday was already incredibly frustrating. The lack of follow-up after reaching out only reinforced the poor customer service we experienced.

For one, the matcha powder was not properly whisked with the water (or the water wasn't hot enough) so there were visible clumps of powder throughout the drink. At the bottom of the cup there were small black particles, not sure if that was also the powder or something else. The drink itself tasted mainly like milk a little minty and fishy though. The drink was ready within 3 minutes of orders so I'm not sure what their process of making drinks is. This could've been an off-day but I don't really want to try again to find out.
