My vehicle was making a noise that was indicative of valve roller rocker wear. Quite common on older Chrysler 3.6 L Pentastar engines. The repair facility I usually go to told me they do not perform this type of work. So I closed my eyes and threw a dart at my local yellow pages and it landed on Manyo motors. And I'm glad it did. I reached out to Dave Manyo and made an appointment. After diagnosing the issue, it turns out that the valve train was not the issue, but a broken flywheel. After replacing the flywheel - and performing additional work I had requested, I picked my van up on the day he promised. Dave produced the broken and cracked flywheel for my inspection. I told him to keep it for his collection of broken flywheels proudly displayed as art on his wall behind his desk. Thank you to Dave and his competent staff for their professionalism and expertise in repairing my vehicle. .....and as Arnold famously once said in the Terminator "I'll be back!!"

I needed to make sure my car was reliable. To my surprise, they discovered my catalytic converter was missing and replaced with just a metal tube. I also needed a nearby frame section replaced because it was damaged and causing a leak. Today, I completely forgot to drop the car off in the morning like we originally planned. I called them around 1:30 PM to explain the situation, and Tim -- truly a miracle worker -- still told me to bring it in. They got the catalytic converter installed and the issue resolved, and I had my car back by around 3 PM the same day. I even offered to pay extra on top of the initial estimate since it was my fault for missing the appointment, but Tim refused and said he was just happy to help me out on this, especially because I just landed a job as an electrician helper. That kind of honesty and customer care is rare. I definitely recommend Affordable Car Care. They go above and beyond.

Getting a quote was ok but the steps after that to get it picked at the collision storage facility was a nightmare. All calls were through India, was transferred several times, could not understand most of the people and needed to constantly ask them to repeat what they said. Arranging for pickup was another nightmare. They could not give me an estimated time, even am or pm, all they do is give you an hours notice to pick up. If your car is some distance away you need to sit there all waiting for the call. It is 3:30 pm, still waiting.

I had no idea what to do for repairs and looked around for a well reviewed shop to take on this relatively small job. I found Gerber on Yelp and I have to say, I am phenomenally happy with my experience. Submitting a quote online was super quick and easy. I received a response in a few hours. Later, I submitted a claim through the responsible party's insurance. I was interested that the shop performed their own paint work and was skeptical that they could match my car's unique red metal flake finish. The technician assured me that they do their best but let me know it may be a slightly different shade in certain lighting conditions. I was definitely a bit worried, but it turns out that they did an excellent job. I got a call about a week later that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was so happy with the results of my repair! The bumper matches the rest of the car perfectly and the workmanship is second to none. I couldn't be more pleased. What's more - they matched their quote within about $50. You just can't beat that. Gerber turned out to be an excellent choice. I kind of wish I got rear ended harder so they could have done more work on the car (I'll be careful what I wish for).
