Lo and behold a few miles later, we see the sign for Tower Tire. Figured it was worth a shot. We walked in, I explained the situation and they immediately got me into a bay to examine. Meanwhile my kids and wife waited in the office and the lady at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name, sorry!) even went out of her way to find the exact show my kids asked for on the TV. They also took them into the back and let them watch the technicians replace the tire. They inspected the other tires and I was fully expecting them to tell me I need 3 more as well, as I have experienced that up-selling before. But, they were HONEST and let me know my others were good and all we needed was the one new tire. I even had a work call and was being given information on the phone and before I could ask, she has a pen and paper for me to take down what I needed to remember! We were in and out in 30 minutes and back onto vacation mode. Huge thank you to Tower Tire for going above and beyond, great customer service, honest technicians and office staff. We choose Gerald's as we trust them. We dropped it off at night, so they could diagnose the issue. They called us and said after inspection it was a tire issue. We went ahead with the service as they recommended it. When they called us to pick it up, I asked if they were able to confirm if the issue was resolved. If not, we could have it further diagonsed and resolve the issue. They told me they do not drive the cars after installing tires. Odd as how would they be able to confirm if the issue was resolved? Continuing to trust them, we picked it up and our car. Unfortunately for us, we have two new tires and a car that still shakes.

Communication was very poor and we were left in the dark up until Thursday even after trying our best to inquire daily. We rented a golf cart to get around while still trying to enjoy vacation. Upon arriving, he was also there to check me in. Very friendly and helpful guy. When we spoke days before, I was told that the specific tire I needed would arrive by today but came to find out that it wasn't. However after inspecting my tire, they were able to repair it with a plug since it was just a nail that was causing the slow leak so it did end up working out. But in the future I do hope that it's communicated to me if my tire doesn't show up on time so that any time wasted is avoided. Overall the appointment only took about 45 minutes and I received a text to notify when my car was ready. It didn't cost me anything because I had put warranty on the tire which was also a nice feature they offered. I still plan on coming back to this location next time.

But when I got there it was not done. They hadn't even started the work. My advisor said they could not find the wheel lock. I said it's in the glove compartment, where else would it be? I went and got it myself. I said I didn't see how they could have missed it, being in a Hay Tire bag that you can see through. (see photos) But okay, fine, you can't find the wheel lock. But why tell me the work was done? Why not call and ask me where the wheel lock is, so I wouldn't have to wait around another 45 minutes to get the work done. I've had good experiences with this business in this past, but this was not one of them.

It couldn't be fixed but he found an alternate rim and I was back on the road and able to get home and not have to miss work. Not even three weeks ago I went in knowing I needed two tires and some front work done. They said…read morethat's fine they just had to order the tires. Asked if they needed to look at my vehicle to see what else was needed because I know I was gonna need an alignment too. They said no to just come back the next day. Went in and was told I needed to come back the next day as they needed to order more parts but still put my tires on without an alignment. A little over $1600 and two whole days wasted. Yesterday I was driving home from work when one of my brand new $173 tire blew. I took it back to the shop being as it hadn't even been 30 days. I got told that bad things happen and that there was no warranty for the tires I got. If I wanted a new one I would have to buy yet another tire. Years of business down the drain but with the new management the whole company has gone under. Wouldn't even recommend this 'repair' shop to my worst enemy
