I specifically ordered a mix of carnitas, buche, and cueritos. When I got home, I realized my order only contained carnitas. On Sunday, I called the restaurant to let them know what had happened. I wasn't calling to argue I simply wanted to inform them that my order had not been prepared correctly and to understand how situations like this are usually handled. Unfortunately, the owner was very disrespectful throughout the conversation. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, he repeatedly asked, "What do you want me to do?" When I calmly asked what their usual process was for handling order mistakes, he became even ruder and ultimately hung up on me. Everyone makes mistakes, and I understand that. What disappointed me was not the incorrect order, but the lack of professionalism and respect when I tried to address the issue. Customer service is just as important as the food, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business.

I've even asked the employees several times to please give me thinner cuts. They always assure me they have, but when I get home and cook it, the meat is still thick and tough. We finally decided to start buying our meat from Carnicería Guadalajara instead, and the difference has been huge. Their meat is tender, easy to chew, and feels like it's actually worth the money. I truly hope this carnicería improves its quality because it used to be one of our favorite places to shop. Right now, though, I can't recommend it based on our recent experiences.
