    Chicken Fries

We loved Gaucho's Fire when we lived downtown and would visit the garage food hall. We were excited to see them on the north side of Indy near Castleton. I really love the chicken fries, lots of flavor! We ordered online to go and everything was fresh and delicious.

I was looking for something healthy to eat for lunch and the Grilled Chicken Salad was perfect! It was romaine lettuce, tri-color tortilla strips, grilled onions, carrots + green sauce on the side. I asked for Grilled chicken on top for some lean protein and it really delivered! Quite a large portion size, and overall a very healthy meal. Chicken didn't seem too oily, and there was a good amount of the onions and carrots in as well. I didn't even add much sauce - it was overall a nice salad on its own (I usually avoid dressings either way, haha)

I've been eyeing Gauchos Fire for a little while, so one Friday my husband and I decided to visit. The restaurant is a fast casual style. Our server was really nice and attentive. The food was ok...we ordered the sharable platter. On the platter was grilled chicken pieces, steak and sausage and in store fresh chimichurri sauce. The sausage tastes like hilshire farms store bought sausage, The chimichurri was ok..didn't bring as much flavor burst as I had hopes. Overall it was ok.

Quick and delicious Brazilian food in the garage. I needed a fast bite to eat at the Garage the other day, and the good people at Gaucho's were happy to make some fantastic chicken fries for me. Super tasted with quick service and, of course, the general fun ambiance of the Garage.

Our server was great. This was my first experience here and eating this kind of food. They had a few vegetarian options.

I visited Gaucho's on a Monday afternoon with some work colleagues. We were quickly greeted by a welcoming server. He was very attentive during the meal. We ordered and had our food in about 5 minutes, making it a great lunch break stop. I ordered the Steak Kabob meal, which came with a salad, rice, fries, and choice of sauce. Salad was good. The dressing was a honey mustard. The rice was good. The fries were delicious and crisp. The steak was cooked to order and had a good flavor. I chose the garlic aioli and it was very good. Overall, I really liked this place and ate literally all my food. Lots of food for the price! Very quick, clean, and welcoming! I'm excited to have this place on our work lunch rotation now!

The food was so good! Don't overthink it when you walk in, just sit down. The waitress was so nice and the food came out quick. It's pretty laid back. Perfect for dinner in between shopping or a night out with the husband. Some great Brazilian. We both got steak - I got bacon wrapped and my husband got picanha. The highlight was the Brazilian lemonade! It's a must

Great little food gem of This Southern Brazilian inspired themed restaurant In the Carmel-Indianapolis Area. Restaurant Staff were friendly, calm ambience with Brazilian tunes playing & food was served with both authenticity & flavorful. Southern Brazilian Gaucho food culture was definitely delivered here and would strongly recommend for anyone who wishes to try this gem as to both reminisce & newly try out cuisine!

Although the place was empty on a Thursday evening, it won't be for long- once the word gets out. My Brazilian lemonade was perfect and the stroganoff was unique and tasty. The fries were outstanding but when you add the garlic sauce, it was a definite winner. The garlic steak was tender, cooked perfectly and quality meat. The atmosphere is a bit cold and they have those awful, uncomfortable metal chairs but we will excuse it all for the food. Definitely returning.

I've visited Gauchos when they were located in the Garage. I love their Alfredo fries. I decided to stop by and ordered the ultimate Brazilian fries. Loaded with chimichurri, steak, sausage, chicken, cheese and onions. The fries looked really good but they were so greasy and not edible. I think if they would've drained them it would've been okay. It seemed they just fried everything in a basket and served it. There isn't much to the restaurant in terms of ambiance I think I'd rather order take out on the future than dine in. The service was fine nothing amazing but nothing to complain about.

I've tried Gaucho's at the Garage in downtown Indy and I'm so glad they opened up a new location up north! Their food is amazing, especially the gaucho fries. The sauce savory sauce complements the smokey sausage so well. The service is quick and the owner is super nice. He came to our table to personally ask how we were doing and even started a conversation with us after we finished our food. I will definitely be back!

Come hungry...seriously…read more I went for the Brazilian Steak Sandwich and my only regret was not bringing a bigger stomach. The steak was incredibly tender, the bread somehow managed to hold everything together without turning into a soggy mess, and the homemade vinaigrette tied everything together perfectly. The fries were hot, crispy, seasoned just right...and yes, obviously dipped in ranch. The Ultimate Brazilian Sandwich is every bit as over-the-top as it sounds, piled high with steak, sausage, chimichurri, grilled onions, fresh tomato, crunchy tortilla strips, and their Gaucho sauce. If you're the type who has trouble deciding, bring a friend and split both. One thing I really enjoyed was the atmosphere. Sitting at the bar gave us a front-row seat to the organized chaos of the food hall. It's one of those places where you can people-watch while your food is being made, then settle in and enjoy lunch without feeling rushed. If you're visiting the Garage Food Hall and only have room for one meal, I'd make a strong case for Gaucho's. Pro tip: Bring your appetite...the portions don't mess around.

The sandwich had a hefty amount of meat, there was a good amount of sauce, and toppings tasted fresh. Minus one star as I thought the steak was lacking seasoning- but the toppings and dressing made up for it. I love Fogo de Chao, but had never been to this location in Indianapolis. Of all the FdC that I have visited, I have to say this place had the best service by far. The waitstaff and the person whom I assume was the manager were always asking if we needed anything, and if everything was ok. I got nice thick cuts of meat every time. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures because I was so hungry and excited to eat, but my friend got the salmon and enjoyed it (pictured below). The meats were grilled really well. The char on the outside was perfection. The salad bar had a lot of choices, and everything was tasty. I'm going to have to stop by here whenever I'm in town for business.

The hostesses, all four of them, were rude and condescending. They tried ignoring my party of four. When we did get seated our server was bizarre, I don't know if they were on drugs or what. Like, notably strange. The churrasco was okay. The salad bar seemed like someone was making sure it didn't run empty. There was nothing really fun or relaxing, my friend wanted filet and had to ask 4 times before a pretty grumpy guy brought it around. We weren't even sure it was the proper cut because of the amount of fat on it. Maybe something else they were trying to pass off. After the first few carvers came by there was a good 15 minute lull where we saw nobody but the bussers, with empty drinks sitting at our table. Took forever to have our waitress come back to cash us out, after we had basically just given up on trying to eat anymore. We just wanted to leave. I might go to another Fogo de Chao in like, another location. All of my complaints here seem to stem from incompetent manager and deficient training. In my opinion this place is only open because it's a stone's throw from several hotels. You can spend your time and money better at any of the nearby steakhouses.
