The best thing about the restaurant is sitting on the deck next to the creek. The trees and birds were lovely. The food is simple, but it's very good. There are various types of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The waitresses were nice and brought frequent drink refills. It is beautiful on the deck. Delivery woman started freaking out and got nearly violent (screaming, slamming doors) after she forgot an item that was paid for. No one in their right mind would order from this place. Owner needs to get involved.... The food is mostly frozen and something anyone could buy at the supermarket anyway. Id advise people to read reviews from the past 6 months, bad trend starting to form and the owners would be keen to pay attention. The Gazebo is a great place to go for outside casual lunch. The food and prices where what you would expect at a sandwich/lunch cafe. My family enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather next to the creek. Our waitress (Melissa I think) was very sweet and made sure we had our drinks and bellies full. The food was mediocre and overpriced, the potato salad was tasteless, and the service was poor. Overall the BBQ which was supposed to "the favorite" tasted like presliced pork with ketchup. Also the bun has been cooked like Texas toast but was cold on the top (frozen bread perhaps?) I alsoordered a strawberry banana smoothie that had absolutely no banana (trust me banana in a smoothie is not something you can miss) and to be honest it was really an slushy (a $3 slushy). My wife ordered the tomato bisque which was decent but couldn't even eat all of it because it was brought out in a plastic tin with a broken bread bowl (why would you poor hot soup into a bread bowl you already knew was broken). Look at the picture...there was soup everywhere. Overall I probably could have given it a three if we had at least been asked how our food was (I would have swapped out that potato salad) and if the total hasn't come out to $17. Seriously... I'm not paying money for the scenery of some parking lot. The location should be used for an ice cream stand or a hot dog joint. Overpriced...not worth it. read more

This place has been around for such a long time and has become a favorite place for lunch by the locals. I have never been let down and have been a patron since at least 2003. The Muffuletta is my go to & is always on point. Friendly staff, great affordable Salads, Sandwiches & Soups! My only gripe is the lack of parking during Tourist season... Gazebo Creekside Cafe provides unfair services to the community. We just called to place an order to a business location and they refused to accommodate us. They said they do not deliver this far however, I have been at Iotla school which is much further than our business location and have seen small orders delivered at that location. Really sad to see a local business refusing to accommodate and support another local business. Good thing there are plenty of other sandwich shops to enjoy in franklin. read more

Another place for the locals! They definitely know how to make a sandwich. Great place to have lunch with a great price! Giant gazebo located perfectly next to a creek with trees hovering over the top. Good, makes a great view. Bad, I don't know how I feel about gnats getting close to my food, but I've never had a bug in my sandwich :) or maybe I ate it too fast. They do a great job covering the gazebo in the winter and have heaters running from the ceiling and center. Love the soup and 1/2 sandwich option for 5.95! Can't go wrong with a Grilled Chicken Club. But I'm one for "what makes this place different from the others" and that's the Veggie. When I was a vegetarian I never got tired of the veggie sandwich; the guacamole and sunflower seeds put a smile on your face. The potato soup in a bread boule is yummy and has enough carbs to fill you up. The water tastes a little funny. It's not dangerous, but personally, it throws off my meal. Such a wonderfully cute place. The food was not really amazing but it tasted delicious. I got the ruben sandwhich and it was good. I love ruben's and it was not to heavy and had all the flavors meshing just right. Our server and all of the staff we encountered were so nice and helpful. The sweet tea was delicous. It was just a really good dining experience. I can't find anything negative to say about the place. it was a little confusing with trying to find a table, it says please seat yourself but that wan't really an issue because someone came by to help us as soon as we arrived. read more

Delicious food! The server was quick and helpful. I had the grilled ham and cheese and broccoli cheese soup. Both were very tasty. I especially liked how the ham was grilled before putting our on the sandwich. My husband had the chicken bacon ranch that he also enjoyed. Outstanding food at a great price. The soups are great and I will eat soup even during the Summer at this restaurant. Try the lobster bisque on Wednesday, you won't be sorry. We went to this Cafe with high expectations bc of reviews here on yelp. It was NOT a 5 star experience. We arrived at 1:30 on a Monday and it was still busy. Got seated quickly but had just one waiter serving a bunch of tables (short staffed maybe?) so it took a long time just to get our waters. We were surprised that our salads arrived in plastic to-go containers and the server literally threw the food and plastic utensils on the table so she could run serve all her other tables. i ordered gazebo the first time with out having any problems with delivery, and the second time apparently they don't deliver to houses just businesses. Whenever the guy showed up i politely said sorry for the inconvenience and he stood there and asked for a tip for driving out here. Guess i'm never ordering gazebo again. read more

We stopped by on Sunday in January, not too many of our other Yelp bookmarks were open. The appeal is likely in summer when the whole place can be opened to al fresco dining. The Reuben was adequate, our other meal was the hot roast beef. The description is a bit misleading, it's not piled high with real roast beef, looked more like steakums meat. They have wonderful sandwiches and the salads are great. If you are in a hurry wouldn't recommend cause they are slow and you have to usually wait for a table, but the wait is worth it. To say this is a local favorite is an understatement, great little cafe with soups salads and sandwiches and they deliver inside the city limits. I have never had an issue with the parking, so I can't comment on that, but the food is always good, my favorite is the broccoli and cheese soup, it goes well with anything on the menu. Favorite salad is the house with a scoop of tuna salad on top. This is the only place in Franklin that offers this combo and its top notch. Really enjoy the Reuben as one of the top sandwiches. Great location and ambiance. Rueben and BLT were fine sandwiches and good prices. Kids meal options were very limited (3-- turkey, ham & cheese and grilled cheese). Main menu sandwiches considered but largely too big even for older kid (1/2lb burger!). Still, location is great with wiggle room for elementary age kids. read more
