Newly installed outlet in HVAC closet.

I must have talked to at least half a dozen electricians about installing a new outlet in my HVAC closet. I got ignored by some, and an extremely high quote from the rest of $250-500. Luckily I found Gb (before being forced to hire anyone else) they responded immediately, came on the day we agreed upon, exactly when they said. Installed the new outlet in my HVAC closet for $100 cheaper than the next electrician. He worked very efficiently and the outlet looks like it's been there forever. Very happy! Highly recommend!

He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. I also compared estimates from multiple companies, and his pricing was very reasonable--especially considering the quality of work and level of service he provides. On top of that, he was extremely clean, organized, and efficient throughout the entire process. It's rare to find someone who combines professionalism, transparency, and craftsmanship this well. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future projects.

I received quotes from a lot of the top Yelp reviewed electricians and man, even the top rated guys will try and upsell and overcharge. I chose a charger capable of load managing the output during charging, so you won't necessarily be using all 48amps at a time depending on your house's current draw. That allows you to avoid costly panel upgrades. Even after explaining this to all the other electricians who I got quotes from, most of them still tried to upsell. I got one quote for $13,000 to install my EV charger from a well rated 5 star Yelp electrical company. Cee understood right away and was experienced with the Emporia charger. He worked with me on everything I needed, showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He dealt with the permits and inspection as well. I consider myself pretty handy and do quite a bit of DIY, I trust Cee and his honesty in the work he did and what he charged. That's tough to find in tradesmen and what makes him so valuable. I will be looking to Cee for any more electrical projects I have moving forward. Thanks again Cee!!!

Beacon came out to check out a leak near our toilet which turned out to be from the valve but the technician removed our toilet entirely before he pulled out his ipad and tried very hard to upsell us to replace everything - including the toilet. What we needed was the valve and a new flushing mechanism. I didn't have great hopes for this repair because the day after the repair, the bran new chain that went from the flapper to the handle snapped. This was in July 2024. May 2026, we notice a leak in our basement under the bathroom above, and it is the toilet. At this point, I am sure it's the wax seal but the leak had been going on for so long that we needed to hire a restoration company to come out and look at it and it resulted in having to have two dryer/blower things running for 5 full days. Thankfully that fixed the wetness and mold issue and we were able to have someone who actually knows plumbing come out and tell us that yep. Its the wax seal and he called the installation of it "shoddy". Please do not use this company. They will not fix their shoddy work (initially I was told the warranty was just for a year but when I pulled up the receipt, it was indeed for two years). I really hope I can discourage people from this company. It was just an awful experience all around and I have no idea how much their shoddy work is now going to end up costing us.

This review is based on recent experiences with customer service representatives/admin folks. So it was during calls to the main number, and we reside in Virginia. We recently had a very expensive repair for a hot water heater that severely damaged our circuit breaker box. So the techs came out, did their thing and were phenomenal. However, in order for us to submit the repairs for reimbursement with our home warranty company, we require an itemized invoice. As per the egregiously rude phone reps we have encountered, there is a company policy against itemized invoices. Like, WHAT!?! I have never experienced anything like it in the history of working with service providers. There is always an itemized invoice. However, that in itself is not the issue. First, my spouse spoke to someone who said that it is only possible to obtain by escalating to a manager. So we waited and attempted to follow-up. Each time after we both tried to follow-up, we encountered some of the rudest, most unprofessional individuals on the line. Not to mention, AGAIN, how does it make sense that you are doing work of this magnitude and cannot produce an invoice that breaks down parts and labor!?! I am certain that this isn't the first time in history that the company encountered this kind of request when customers are dealing with insurances and warranty companies. It is wholly disappointing, when you consider that the individuals in the field doing the labor intensive work can be overshadowed by the policies of the company. I literally have no idea what to say at this point, but that we will be transitioning to Michael & Son's or another provider. Because who wants to pay this kind of money to be mistreated on the backend for something as simple as an itemized invoice. Such a shame!
