This tour was amazing! Our limo driver(from Serenity), Mika, picked us up right on time from our hotel and gave some commentary of the view on the way to the heliport, which was about 25 minutes away. He called in ahead for our lunch order and choice of drink. There was a cooler with water bottles in the limo. There was wifi available and an ipad by each seat for internet searches. The charger was only for apple type adaptors, it would have been nice to have a mini usb as I could not recharge my android, but no big deal, as I was not expecting any electronic device outlets at all. At the heliport, we were sorted by weight and given safety instructions. There is access to a restroom there, which I suggest you make use of because there will be none until your return to the heliport. We lined up and received life vests to buckle on for the duration of the flight. Then the fun began! We squished into our seats, which are very much weight dependent and pretty tight. Lighter passengers were sorted in the front I believe. We put on our headsets and the pilot, Miko, took off to the tune of rock and roll songs while giving commentary on the views. It was about a 40 minute flight, where we viewed breathtaking scenery and passed over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and the Skywalk then descended into the Grand Canyon for a lunch by the Colorado river. We had our choice of wine and a packet with cheese, crackers, grapes and carrots. We were able to stroll around and take in the tangible environment or even hike a little. The ground was dry earth clay , rocky, and covered in an array of desert plants. On the return trip our pilot was able to zoom in on a herd of wild burros by banking the copter in each direction so that all passengers had an equal opportunity to see it. He answered all of our questions and gauged how we were doing. When he learned we were mostly adventurers, he did more sweeps and sharper banking turns to give us that rush we all hope for in this bucket list adventure. This excursion was truly the highlight of my trip to Vegas and the memory will last a lifetime! (We took some video with our phones but in case you missed some or want the music and commentary, you can request it and it can be recorded on a DVD as an additional purchase). I highly recommend this tour, especially with the landing portion in the base of the canyon. It was expensive, but well worth it! read more

Our flight day/time had to be changed because they "could not fill the ride" we had booked months in advance. I was annoyed and disappointed, but thankfully we were able to change our day and time. Other than that inconvenience, it was SPECTACULAR from start to finish! Our trip started with a van ride to the airport. Thankfully it was a smooth ride, unlike the local cabs that wiz around Vegas worse than a roller coaster! Our return ride was just as pleasant. The staff and photographers were polite and accommodating before our helicopter ride began, and the waiting area was clean and spacious. I cannot begin to explain how awesome our helicopter ride was. Matt was PHENOMENAL! He was humorous, polite, energetic, and it felt like we knew him for years. He told great stories and explained the sights perfectly. My son, who is autistic, asked hundreds of questions; and Matt did not seem the least bit annoyed and answered every one. When we took off, we expected the ride to be "bumpy" and that was not the case AT ALL! Matt's expertise made it feel like we weren't even moving! Even at speeds over 100 MPH!!! His landings were smooth as silk, and we could not have asked for a better ride. While the inconvenience of "filling the ride" was a little disheartening, it was absolutely worth the wait and change in schedule. I highly recommend GC Flight, and kudos to Matt for making our ride a most memorable experience!!! read more

There was some miscommunication between the agent who booked our tour and me, resulting in our not receiving what we paid for, in terms of the actual tour. GC Flight promptly resolved the issue, issuing us a refund of the amount I requested, which was the difference between what we paid for and what we actually received. The agent who was responsible for the mistake was very apologetic, both to me and to his general manager, and the manager herself was very understanding and completely willing to refund me the requested amount. I would recommend booking with GC Flight. If you do want to book the Express Tour, make sure you request the Five Star boutique helicopter, as this is the only helicopter that flies 1500 feet below rim level for 17 miles, makes a 180 degree turn in a side canyon, and flies the 17 miles back at rim level. The latter is what we had paid for, but didn't receive. read more

This was a birthday present for my husband, and we would both do this again. In fact, we really want to take my dad (80) and step-mom (96) on the same tour. It is safe, professional, and fun. There is no way to see the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Strip in this way without going airborne. It was absolutely stunning flying below the rim through the canyon, and then landing at a private picnic area on the canyon floor above the river. We had ample time to explore for a bit while sipping champaign, and then returned through the canyon, over mountain ranges, and along the Strip before landing back at the airport. I wouldn't fly with anyone else. This is a Five-Star experience. Plus you can get a blue-ray or DVD of the flight, pictures, and other fun souvenirs. Spend the money and do it right. You may only do it once, so make it count! read more

myself and my boyfriends mum booked this tour as a surprise for my boyfriend and from the moment we spoke to the most friendly of staff at gc flights we couldn't fault them they were so helpful and friendly.We kept in touch through e mail as we booked this tour in advance and any questions we had it was never to much trouble and they responded very quickly.when we arrived at Vegas we had a courtesy phone call at hotel to say what time we were being picked up the following morning from the hotel and they there the exact time given.as for the helicopter tour it was so relaxed the tour was amazing the views were out of this world and the pilot was great given us all the history and information he knew his stuff for sure :)I would recommend this tour it's a must great way to see the Grand Canyon!!thank you gc flight for a great experience. read more

Wow!! what a great experience and worth the money!! We were trying to get on a flight that went down into the canyon, they didn't have anything for that day so we were offered above the canyon but nothing until later in the day...when Heather found out we couldn't do an afternoon she called me back with great news! A morning flight could accommodate us - so we really appreciate her making it happen!! Our pilot, I think his name was Dan....(all I know is his wife likes Kate Spade and I had a Kate spade that she wants lol) he was super awesome!! None of us had been on a helicopter before and we would do it again!!!! He explained the air could be a little choppy as it is common, always told when to expect it and gave some history and info on what we saw....overall great experience!! read more

I can't say enough about our experience from start to finish. All the employees from Miko that picked us up, to the women behind the counter when we arrived, to . . . Mad Dog! Not only did the Grand Canyon provide some unbelievable views, but Mad Dog provided an experience to remember for a lifetime. My girlfriend and I could not have asked for a more extraordinary once in a lifetime experience to the Grand Canyon that GC Flight provided. From the friendliness and professionalism of their staff to the time spent flying to and being at the Grand Canyon was phenomenal. Our pilot Eric made the trip even more amazing with his knowledge and narration of all the terrain we flew over. Jim and I had a wonderful time. Jim was a Crew Chief in Vietnam and your team was wonderful in letting Jim have the left front seat, just like the old days when he flew. He engaged in conversation with our piolet (Cole) who was great! He answered all questions asked and took Jim and I on a flight that was unforgettable. He even gave Jim a military lift off... We enjoyed our snack lunch and mimosa's and enjoyed every minute of it. Jim was still tingling several days later and even today. We will return for the sunset dinner flight. Everyone was accommodating and went above and beyond for him which wasn't expected. Connor has to drive his wheelchair everywhere he goes but our pilot assisted in lifting Connor into the helicopter. GC Flight went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I. The limo driver was fantastic who drove us to our flight! He was extremely informative, well mannered and made us feel elite. We then proceeded to head on a stunning helicopter tour to Zion which was totally worth it. The plane had just the right amount of people on it (4 of us were in attendance so the plane was not too full). We felt like we got our money's worth as well since the tour lasted all day (from leaving the hotel until our return). An awesome incredible life changing experience - Marcus was our pilot and well versed about the Canyon and area. Very personable and professional, and brought as back safely. Word of note - try to fly when the sun is out completely, we flew on a cloudy day and although impressive, the canyons would have been that much more had we seen the area in vivid full color light. We flew back in darkness. Make sure you take the "landing" ooption and bypass the express tour. Absolutely the best part of our Vegas trip!! From inquiring prior to booking to the shuttle experience and the amazing flight, every employee was friendly and professional. Recently we took the plane ride to the Grand Canyon with GC Flight tours. Our friend had come from Ireland and wanted to see the Grand Canyon because she had never seen it. I was reluctant to do the flight because I have seen the Grand Canyon several times. However, I will tell you, taking the plane ride was incredible! Our pilot was great, he took photos for us and gave us amazing descriptions of what we were seeing as we were flying (please give them tips when you are flying, we saw we were the only ones who tipped on our flight). Just took this flight on 9/25/17 with my brother. This was an experience of a lifetime! The scenery was jaw-dropping from the get-go until we arrived back, especially when we flew down within the canyon walls.
