Simple pedi: only filed, cut & drilled 2 toes. I sat at dryer not knowing what to do & she finally came over. When done I asked her to check polish & she shook head. I motioned to remove toe separators that wasn't on toes correctly so I had to adjust. They charged $10 (not on price list) for designs on big toes which is more than I've ever spent. They also charge more for credit cards. It was only 3 of us in there. She did an excellent job on designs. Pedi was ok. I took my own polish (that I had to open) which saves them money. She was very sweet and worried about me because I fell asleep while she was doing my nails. I always fall asleep (lol), but this day I was extra tired and it showed on my face and demeanor. This last appointment took the cake--nail tech dude nicked my skin with his super sharp nail tool and blamed MY skin for "growing too close to the nail". This happened after leaving me under the fan for 15 minutes while he enjoyed a phone conversation right in front of me--so I knew it was because he wasn't paying attention--he seems resentful of his customers and unhappy to do this kind of work. When I arrived for my appointment (no such thing really because they treat everyone as a walk-in) he and a young girl didn't move to seat me, I had to ask them if they were working today in order to mobilize them--mind you I was the only customer. I understand taking walk-ins but why allow appointments?! Someone came in right after me and she was told a 30 minute wait. She literally was siting at the pedicure bowl for an hour. She was also there when I arrived for that appointment to ensure things went smoothly. Emily was very attentive during my service, and ultimately I was happy with this set. I did SNS and Emily finished with a gel top coat. Since I prefer to not have gel that is cured by UV, I may not return regularly. However, this salon has a huge selection of not only regular colors, but specialty colors as well, such as cat eye and jelly polishes. Jelly polishes are definitely on my list to try in the future, so I'll likely be back for that.
