Coffee Tab's new location just opened a few weeks ago, super clean, and beautifully designed, which is bright, modern, and inviting (and I particularly love their hand-paint mural which is really cute and thoughtful). It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. The coffee was excellent, but what really made our visit special was the latte art class we took with the founder and instructor, Johnathan. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about his craft. The class was fun, hands-on, and we left successfully making three forms of latte art. Highly recommend Coffee Tab, particularly for their latte art classes!

My wife and I were in Belltown and we were looking for a cafe to hang out for a little while. Coffee Tab was a great choice as it had what I often look for in a cafe: a chilled vibe with a warm inviting decor and nice staff. Our coffees were great (although, admittedly, it's tough to get a poor coffee in Seattle!). There's a beautiful mural on one wall of a coffee bush laden with coffee cherries. They do describe themselves as a coffee with a cause. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I didn't find out what causes they're for. After reading our books for awhile we left. I'm sure we'll return on another day.

Came in today for lattes and cold brew. The coffee beans smelled heavenly! This is a small to-go place with no real seating. Great to grab on way to work! Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely love the lattes here! They are so good. And bonus points for being open early (6:30am even though online suggests 7am). The inside is spacious with lots of seating. Highly recommend!

Got the ice matcha latte from the Coffee Tab. It was good overall! It hit the spot! I liked it unsweetened! This is a small shop, so it's more of a grab and go place than a sit down and study place! I appreciate their mission to help youth out by training them with skills!

Really delicious coffee stop with an even cooler mission. Ordered an espresso and a hot latte during a downpour and felt like everything was clean and cozy. Didn't stay for super long but the service was friendly and the drinks were awesome. They also have weekly events/classes to check out if you're interested in those.

Cute little grab and go coffee spot with a decent menu considering its size. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. I would definitely stop in again if I was in the area.

Almost a "hole in a wall," but with a small waiting area while you wait for your to-go coffee to be made. I had a cortado, and the quality was excellent. Service was friendly. I'd get coffee from here again, even if it is to go.

I had the opportunity to visit Coffee Tab earlier in the day (10/29/23). It was meant to be when traffic was non-existent headed to downtown Seattle/Belltown neighborhood and score free parking right across the street. This tiny indie business with a grand mission has been opened for three weeks, located in the former Tempesta doughnut shop by 3rd Avenue & Lenora. I encourage you to visit their website at www.coffeetab.cafe to learn specific details about Coffee Tab. The pocket cafe itself isn't quite ADA accessible, didn't see a restroom, and no onsite seating, just an fyi. There are a variety of beverages featured on the menu and some food stuff available from the pastry case or refrigerated reach-in. I opted for a 12oz mocha - crafted with such care. I also bought a cafe Tshirt plus some stickers, because the logo was quite appealing. Sign up on the POS system to accrue points from each visit. A welcomed addition to Seattle's coffee scene and philantrophic ventures!

A few months ago I noticed Coffee Tab was taking over the old Tempesta spot downtown. Was excited to see someone taking over the space and even more excited when I started reading the information on their website. I had the pleasure of chatting with Jonathan this this past Saturday when I stopped by. Been wanting to visit when he opened a few weeks ago, and everything finally aligned. Like Jonathan I grew up in a low income environment. I love his mission: "Coffee Tab wants to do its part to reduce the cycles of poverty and marginalization by training students with employable skills, access to community, and a safe space to spend their time". It is a non profit and in Jonathan's words "Students enrolled in our mentorship program will receive on-site barista and business management training, career support, and resume and interview preparation." On top of that it's an Asian owned company. As I stood sipping my latte I loved listening to him tell customers about his vision. I forgot to snap a shot of him cause we had such a nice conversation but you can see the top of his hat if you look closely at the last shot. If you're in the neighborhood make sure to stop buy say hi and buy a cup of coffee!! Thanks for taking time to chat about your passion Jonathan, will be back!!

This spot has probably one of the best chais I've had in the downtown area. It's a great spicy chai and it was really well made and perfect temperature. The barista was very helpful and informative when I asked some questions. The ambiance was cool and modern, but didn't really have any places to sit or hang out. Based on that, this seems like more a grab and go than a stay and sip place.

    Mushy messy bitter.

Mushy messy bitter cappuccino. Come on! Hoping for more for my first Seattle coffee. Near hotel. Oh well!

The employees are also friendly and helpful. Prices here are a bit steep, but drinks are high quality.

I first tried the turon matcha which I thought was good but had a mild banana flavor. I was expecting more of a caramelized flavor but I still thought it was good. The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. Overall, the matcha here is smooth and both drinks weren't too sweet.

We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. Food: Phe Sliders $13 MUSTTTT GET!! My group absolutely devoured these. The rolls were soft and airy, and somehow the sliders still felt light and not too heavy. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option.
