Little Oddfellows is such a cute cafe tucked inside of Elliott Bay Book Co!! there's a decent amount of seating, and I had no problem getting a nice corner seat when I came on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. With that said I definitely think it gets a lot busier on a normal day! I ordered the 16oz seattle fog ($6.61) and I LOVED it!! there's something about tea and milk that is so yummy and comforting. I thought the flavor was great and i would definitely recommend getting this. I will say there's been one persisting issue -- their wifi has been down for months :( I last came to study here in february and was surprised it's still not fixed as it's april. the cashier told me it will be fixed sometime in june which is a pretty long process for a cafe that would otherwise be so ideal to study at. All in all, I absolutely love the aesthetic of the cafe and also the worker was friendly!! it's also so perfect that you can browse the bookstore while you're there. they also sold merch like tote bags which I thought was so cute!! read more

In February, I came to do some work on a weekday before lunchtime. The cafe is busy, most tables were taken. I got the Seasonal Beverage Strawberry Mocha and a cinnamon roll, which were both alright. I'm conflicted. On one hand, having a full cafe inside of Elliot Bay Bookstore is a genius, almost necessary move. Unless you're here on an early weekday, it's usually packed and lively; god help you if you're trying to get a seat after classes get out. Feels like folks from all over the city flock here; it's fantastic for people-watching, to see and be seen. The baristas are friendly and quick with drinks, even when it's busy. The Seattle Fog is a tasty spin on its cousins from across the pond. However, the drinks are rather overpriced. The bathrooms are ran through, but that's understandable with all the bookstore traffic. The WiFi is pretty awful, and was completely down the last two times I was here. It's not perfect, but it's a cozy and comfortable spot to include in your regular routine. Save me Little Oddfellows, Little Oddfellows save me, etc. read more

This is a cute little café inside of the bookstore. My friend and I didn't want to wait at Oddfellows for brunch so we grabbed a small bite and coffee here instead. They heat it up our pastries, but it wasn't warm enough in my opinion. I would recommend coming early as the place does fill up quite quickly. I also got a flat white with almond milk which was pretty to look at but you could probably get better coffee in Seattle. What a cute and quaint little coffee shop hidden in a bookstore. Very obsessed with the aesthetic of this spot. I came right when it opened so it was very peaceful and the barista was so kind and plated my boyfriend and mines food so beautifully. We had the avocado toast which had the perfect amount of spice and just might be the best avocado toast I've ever had!! We also had the hummus plate, perfect for two people to share. I love this cafe...it is tucked inside The Elliott Bay Book Company and has such a cool vibe. They offer a variety of drinks (cafe drinks or some alcoholic option) and food (snacks and some light meals), so you are bound to find something that you like! It's a cool place to enjoy your lazy day, be it to catch up on your favorite reads, with friends or to just people watch. I had a large house made chai and a lemon polenta chia loaf and I love what I picked! They both felt more homemade than the typical commercialized ones that you typically get at a chain cafe. The only downside is that I noticed people tend to sit at the tables for a long time...so if you happened to come in during a busy time (e.g. not early or not late time), you may have to order to go and find a seat elsewhere in the bookstore. read more

It's a cute little café in the back of a bookstore, but there are a couple of big drawbacks: 1. There's always, always a line for the restroom. 2. The wifi is unbearably slow and some websites just won't load. 3. The food and drinks--while cute, are just too expensive and frankly overpriced. My chai latte was way too sweet. My housemade soda had little flavor. The avocado toast I had was the best thing here, but they were these tiny little slices of toast for $9. Little Oddfellows is located next to the restaurant and can also be accessed through the Elliot Bay Book Store. This was on my bookmarked list for awhile now and I finally visited on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The place was filled with people on their laptops and most were studying and reading. Not a lot of people were there to socialize so my friend and I tried to keep our voices down during our catch up session. The pastries looked delicious but I did not have any. I had a vanilla latte and it was too sweet. The vanilla syrup also tasted very artificial which i did not like. My friend had a plain latte and said it was good and strong. I have had better coffee but this place gets an A-OK rating because it is located inside the bookstore which makes it a cute place to visit. This place makes for a nice rest stop after a large book purchase binge. It may be tricky to find a spot to prop up your feet, so be mindful that it stays busy and it is a bit on the small size. I was able to have a yummy lunch here with my SO and we both shared the ham panini and veggie chili- highly recommend the veggie chili it is super tasty, almost with a hint of cardamom, clove, and or all spice. Mmmm... such delicious fragrances. There are a couple of single bathroom stalls located in this place, just look for the line (moves at a decent pace). read more

Came here on a Friday with a friend to study! We arrived around 4:30pm and all the seats were filled. We managed to nab a table within a few minutes of arrival (thankfully) because someone was just leaving! I didn't order any coffee as it was past my coffee drinking hours but I did order a ham & swiss panini. The associate informed me that it would be about 6 minutes for my panini. However, it took closer to 10-12 minutes... When the panini came, I noticed that one half of the panini was kinda pretty burnt. Fortunately, the other half was perfectly panini'd and the taste was good! Both my friend and I had a hard time connecting to the WiFi. It took my computer almost an hour to finally connect to their wifi (and yes, I tried turning wifi off and on, restarting my laptop, forgetting the network, etc). This was frustrating for me, and in combination with my half burnt panini I give this place a 2 star. The environment is very cute - the cafe area is in the back of the bookstore. It feels cozy and home-y. I wouldn't be opposed to giving this place another shot but would try their coffee and maybe just use it as a place to catch up instead of doing work because I don't want to run into WiFi problems again! read more

Since moving to Seattle, I have been twice already and everything I've ordered has been really good. My recommendation is to try the Brioche French Toast. The eggs and biscuits are also on point is you want something more classic/basic. My only feedback would be working on a better check in/list process. I understand and respect that with COVID-19 restrictions it has been a little tough, but having a way to check the wait time would have been helpful. I have been here way to many times because I love the ambiance, the workers and bringing some one for coffee. I'd say among the times I've here the WIFI can run slow 1/3 of the time which ends up being a bummer for me. If WIFI isn't an issue then this is a perfect little coffee shop!
