I have had an ongoing internet connectivity problem going on for more than a year now. My internet would just cut out about 5 to 10 times a day then come back on about 5 minutes later. I have had 4 other IT companies come out and attempt to fix it and Cox internet as well. NONE could find the problem. Cox blamed it on the IT people and the IT people blamed it on Cox. I spent several hundred dollars with these people trying to fix this problem. Deon from Geeks Mobile succeeded! He said he saw many potential issues in how the WIFI and router were set up with old outdated switches. So he just started from scratch and rewired my whole network and zip tied everything very neatly. And low and behold my internet is fixed and faster! Deon has a background in electrical wiring which is why I think he was the first to figure out how to finally fix this issue. The young tech rep showed up when expected and worked on my computer with me in my home for maybe an hour and a half. He was knowledgeable, respectful and very savvy. He got my email up and running and rearranged my "view" so that the screens looked familiar. He set up a shared view system so that he and I both can view my computer from our separate locations in the future when I need assistance. My MacBook Pro all of a sudden wouldn't boot up. After spending days trying to fix it myself by reading blogs and watching UTube videos, I called Geeks Mobile. Deon answered the phone and told me he would need to run diagnostics that take upwards of 6 hrs. He had a flat rate that included pickup, labor and delivery. We agreed and he was at the house within 4 hours to pick up. Said he would call tomorrow with his findings. He did call as promised and told me the problem was the hard drive. Said he could replace the hard drive and have the computer back to me that afternoon. Once again, he came through. He replaced the old hard drive with a new solid state one with twice the storage.
