Not sure what the prior reviews were- as they have been extremely busy every time we are in there during January. We always love their fresh, from scratch food, and have never had a bad meal yet. I know they had issues with their fountain pop and have been working to get it serviced. But any time I have ASKED for an extra glass for my bottled beer they will bring it- but as an industry worker myself- pint glasses are hard to keep stocked on busy nights, so if not mentioned I don't expect they would bring it. Their staff is amazing, and I know they have been short due to several illnesses (haven't we all?!) - it's a shame that people will pick apart somewhere after once trying, every one has off days, even those who work in the service industry. Edit to add- as far as being labeled common bar food- the twin tail lobster dinner I had last weekend, wouldn't fall under that category. And actually a great deal for 8 oz of maine lobster. Highly recoomend the potato crusted lake erie walleye with the lemon butter sauce, and the filets- which are always a go to of mine read more

Service was awful! Forgot drinks! Didn't bring glasses for beers, fried pickle entree had about 10 small pickle slices for $10. BYOB burger was not seasoned with salt and pepper. Was just ok. Onion rings seemed undercooked. Fountain coke was disgusting! Flat and gross! Second time here after a terrific first time. What the heck happened? Paid .79 per item added to burger and they forgot the cheese and the bacon! Probably won't be back! I might add they were not busy when we visited. read more

The service was sub par, beers were brought out with out glasses, I ordered the BYOB burger with pepper jack cheese and bacon. The burger was delivered without either. (I noticed the bacon right away and when they brought it out to me it was burnt). My wife waited 10 minutes after everyone in our party had the dinks for her Coke. (Which was flat) We've been here a few times before and tonight was the worst experience we've had here. What happened here the food and service was so much better on our last visit? read more

Great food and service We made reservations for a group of 11. Our table was ready on time. We were able to place our drink order right away. The menu is limited but we were all able to find something we liked. Everyone enjoyed their food from burgers to entrees. They have kids meals for $7. The burgers come with chips. I ordered the pasta entree and it was good but doe not come with a salad. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is very hot. Great spot in grafton if you are looking for something different. read more

interesting place is it doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside it's really nice looking. food was good. Danielle had the red pepper ravioli and enjoyed it. i had the Cleveland Polish Boy burger (as I am a big fan of the Polish Boy sandwich). I wouldn't say it was a close approximation or even a version but the burger itself was really, very good. if i'm nitpicking it was a little bit dry but the taste was fantastic. I upgrade to french fries for my side (chips would have been questionable since i had a tooth extracted earlier this week). the fries were fantastic and very nicely cooked. I, personally, did not like the avocado devilled eggs because they had no tang or anything and the yolk mixture tasted like cheese to me but Danielle liked it. great selection of beers, cocktails, wines, etc. i had two different delicious beers. would gladly go back and try another meal. service was good. food was good. so why not? read more

We went for my dad's 74th birthday. we made reservations for 6 of us. The server forgot to take my husband's order. She returned later with food, but he had never ordered. Server forgot the bread we ordered and we had to ask another server. The server apologized, however, that was it. Our party was my Father, Mother, my husband, my two boys (10 and 11 years old), and myself. Food was decent, but it was a horrible service experience. We will not be returning. read more

This is in the former Unicorn building. Don't mistake it for the old restaurant as it is completely different. Different ambiance and menu. Today was day 2 of the opening and we had reservations. We sat in the bar area. With the 4 televisions all programmed to sports it seemed like a sports bar. I'm ok with that. The service was wonderful and on point. We really didn't wait for anything except bar drinks. The burgers were delicious. We will be going back. Their bourbon selection was pretty good as well. read more

Gehring's took over the old Unicorn restaurant and did a fantastic renovation and update. It's run by the same people who run Foundry Kitchen and Bar in Elyria. They have a great bar with craft cocktails, tons of beer and wine, and TVs. All the food I've tried is seriously awesome. They have fun appetizers, a few different salad options, and a big entree menu ranging from burgers, to seafood, to steak, and even gourmet hot dogs! It certainly isn't the Unicorn. They blew out the ceiling to open the place up and the dining room is now a sports bar setting and the bar is the small dining room. The menu is eclectic, and my date went nuts over the Asian Hogie. The filet was a bargain at $35, but it could have been seasoned a bit. Sear was perfect, and a perfect medium. The asparagus and potatoes were good, but I didn't try the carrots. They may have been the best carrots ever cooked, but they were not attractive. Something about brown carrots that just wasn't appetizing. Was a bit surprised that they charged for a side of dressing, but still I didn't feel the check was out of line, and if that's what it takes to manage costs, I'm good with it. Cayla was fun, took a minute to get things started, but overall the service was good, and we both enjoyed the new venue. Does not tack on extra fees for employee insurance, built in tips, car wash or any of the other things that you see on your restaurant checks these days. Was not impressed with the handheld POS terminals the staff uses, the server struggled a bit to get the order in. In that it's casual dining, it's about par for the course. read more

Ordered a blackened salmon caesar salad, which wasn't on the menu. Nice of them to accommodate that. Salmon was cooked perfectly, but portion size of the salad and salmon were very small. Service was great. Vibes were average sports bar. I will be back to try something else read more

I know this placed just opened recently, so I'll try to be as kind as possible. It has a very laid-back atmosphere, and quite a varied menu. I got the mussels and the The Molly Wedge Salad. The charmoula was very tasty, but the mussels were sandy. The wedge salad wasn't bad, but the creamy lemon garlic dressing was not good.....too much lemon or something. My boyfriend got the Smash Breakfast burger, and said it was very good. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of the more unusual items, like the Scotch Egg or the Falafel Platter. read more
