Butter cake. Is…read morethere anything else that needs to be spoken?!? Butter cake is a thing my dreams are made of. It is warm. It is a beautiful fluffy texture that is saturated with flavor and absolutely melts in your mouth. This place is a fancy restaurant that we snuck into on a day off. We didn't have reservations but were able to be accommodated quickly without one. The steak was good but not anything I feel like needs to be focused on (I know a steak house) I got the delmonico and honestly I wasn't impressed at all. My partners was delicious though so I think it was just a matter of the cut I got. We got the artichoke dip and it was good too but nothing out of this world. But the butter cake. I would pay $65 for a steak I didn't even finish for that butter cake any day of my life. So yes this is a 5 star review of a place I had average (now my average is likely ground breaking food... I am a true food snob) food at and paid $200 for the meal without alcohol, because of the butter cake. Other notes: our server was awesome too and the ambiance is definitely ON POINT! Really lovely place. Unfortunate my steak wasn't better, but I can see that it's a good place and that dessert is top 3 in my life. Loved it!!!

We were seated quickly, and throughout the meal, we never felt rushed or forgotten. On Amara's recommendation, we tried the spicy honey Brussels sprouts, and they were a hit--crispy, flavorful, and gone in minutes. We also ordered a couple of mocktails, smash burgers, the French dip, and a half salad that was generous enough to be a full portion at most places. The food overall was really good--not quite exceptional, but definitely worth a visit. I'm still trying to pinpoint what sets Farmer's Rail apart from other restaurants in a similar category. It's well-executed comfort food with a thoughtful menu, but perhaps still finding its unique edge. If you're in Cuyahoga Falls and looking for a dependable spot with good food and great service, give this place a try.

The waiters behind the bar were attentive and in relatively short period of time we placed our drink, appetizer, and food order at once. We chose the calamari, my wife chose the filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All were exceptional. I chose the bone in ribeye smashed red potatoes and Demi-glaze sauce were awesome accompaniments.

I ok with that but not everyone wants steak. They had no choices for chicken or fish. The service was good at best , because the people who came in afterwards were served their food and on the way out and we had not been served food yet. I did see on the menu that they had banana fosters. That a joke it was bread pudding with ice cream on top and 3 slices of banana . I told the server this is anything but bananas foster and I felt insulted. She immediately took it off the bill. To which then I explained to her what bananas foster really was and she said it sounded good. She's never heard of it. Also I ordered mashed potatoes and I was told it was not up to standard and I have to make a second choice.. I will try to celebrate with my wife my 73 birthday with a nice dinner . The bill was over 200. And my did not get a steak, just a salad and soup. Not happy.

Unfortunately, the rest of the visit fell flat. My cocktail was way too sweet. And at $21, your drink should be perfect. And the bartender had no intention of building any kind of rapport, bordering on rude. The food was decent, but overpriced. Needless to say, I will not be going back and do not recommend this restaurant.

There is plenty of space at the bar, at high tops in the bar area and in different dining room areas. Service is always top notch as servers are uniformly attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We have tried and enjoyed many items I'm in the menu. The playtime we went, she ordered two sides of risotto for dinner: mushroom and spinach. Very tasty and well prepared, she was happy and had plenty of leftovers. I recently enjoyed their NY Strip, cooked perfectly to medium rare with sides of asparagus and mushroom risotto. Delicious! We're been there many times but have never tried dessert because the meals are so filling. Drink menu is very good with plenty of wines and beer plus a full bar. Call ahead if at dinner times as the place fills up especially on weekends.

Danielle liked her pickle-chicken sandwich and seemed disappointed that i don't want to go back, so i'll probably have to relent at some point and just get French Toast and go into diabetic shock. oooohh, i forgot. i also ordered a cup of the corn chowder (soup of the day). it wasn't great and corn was the least plentiful ingredient in it. i'd call it more of a potato and bacon chowder w/ corn casually tossed in.
