The ice cream and waffles here are delicious. I could eat the waffles all day long. That is the reason I will come back when I am in the area. There is one important thing you need to pay attention to when here, your total. My friend ordered Waffle A La Mode, which should cost $7.25, but his total came up to over $12. This happened to another person in line as well. Overcharging may be a frequent issue here or it was a new employee. Pay attention and make sure they charge you correctly. Both times I went to Fior Di Latte, they were out of flavors, this might be another common problem. Also the service felt rushed. You can try as many samples, which is great! The line can get a little long because of that. One of my favorites here is the dark chocolate ice cream, very indulging. I got a scoop of the burnt honey and lavender, it was really interesting. read more

Came here for dessert and was not disappointed. I had a small waffle cone and tried 2 seasonal flavors. The pannacotta cranberry cobbler and marsala cider cake were delicious and tasted even better on a waffle cone. I arrived 30mins before closing and service was still simple and quick. A great treat after dining along Pearl Street Market. Paid street parking outside, and the storefront is quite small, no room to eat inside. Inside was clean and the staff friendly. You may see a line outside if going at peak times, but the servers are pretty quick to take your order and serve. Your wait may get extended by customers tasting flavors before ordering, but it's worth the wait. Tried the chocolate, mint chocolate chip, birthday cake, lavender, pistachio, and lemon......don't judge. All were delicious. Enjoy it with an evening stroll along Pearl Street Market! read more

Always on the lookout for great ice cream or gelato when I travel, Gelato Boy fit the bill today. A nice little shop on bustling Pearl Street in Boulder, come here for some tasty gelato. I sampled a few flavors before settling on the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Orange Creamsicle, getting a split scoop which was just the right size for me after just having had pizza for lunch. The staff is very friendly and the gelato was delicious! They offer flights which I'd gladly return for when I'm less full. read more

I have to say, I am sad that I put off trying this place! I went in with a group of 8 people, expecting some mediocre gelato. But to my surprise, they had some interesting flavors. And what shocked me even more was the fact that the creamiest flavors were dairy free! I got the oatmeal chai and loved it. Not to mention, it paired well with my snickerdoodle. The serving size for two scoops is rather generous, and I ended up not being able to finish. But given the chance, I would do the half -and-half scoop with just one scoop next time. Cute spot downtown that's actually open late ish. Came here after dinner nearby and got the vegan chocolate ice cream. Super rich! The cashier was very nice and even let us stay after closing hours until she actually closed up the shop. I can see this being the go to dessert spot in the area in the evenings. Lots of variety with flavors including gluten free and non dairy options. read more

Gelato Boy has such unique and fun flavors that we had to get a flight! My favorites were the lavender poppy seed which had a subtle floral, fragrant taste with added poppy seed texture. Pistachio was very nutty and thick, creamy gelato. Salted cookies and cream was also delicious and a unique twist to a classic. Mudslide was a coffee base mixed with fudge and cookies. Definitely recommend getting a flight to try all the options! Only downside was when we did get our flight, the gelato melted pretty quick. read more

The gelato was great on a 95F afternoon. We had a group of 9 and ordered 2 flights for $8.45 (6 scoops each). We were able to sample all of their flavors except for the midnight chocolate and the milk chocolate, which they were out of. They had a good selection of fruity flavors and other flavors. My favorite was the cookie butter, the cinnamon cherry bourbon, and the sweet cream and dark chocolate. I think that the presentation of the flights could have been improved (they were literally scooped into a brown paper tray) but otherwise the gelato tasted delicious! read more

Went to this gelato crib after a full day of absolute sending at the creek with the fam. Not sure what I was on this night I visited Gelato Boy but the cream was so on point it would melt what's left of your gmas tits clean off that's how delicious it was. Copped the blueberry lavender hibiscus purple dream cloud alongside the coconut sea salt caramel blast off into outer space flavors all inside a house made waffle cone and now I can never go back to my pre transcendent days after housing this flavor combo. To say this place is to die for is an absolute understatement. Come here with your Ma, your Pa, your sister, your GF, your bro, your hoe, your sidepiece, your aunt, your niece & nephew, your pet goffer, whoever the f... they will surely not be disappointed. We walked in after inhaling a burger next door and were intrigued by the menu. We observed flavors such as the lavender poppy and I decided I must have some. We ordered a waffle cone and the lavender flavor paired with a sugary butter flavor. The lavender poppy definitely was my favorite and tasted incredible. Stopped here for a break from an exceptionally warm part of a sunny day. Very cute little place and "gluten" is listed by their flavors. I got their midnight chocolate and honeycomb flavors. I had the lavender poppy and the pistachio flavors. Lavender: 5/5 I really enjoyed it! It's thick and creamy. Not an overwhelming lavender flavor but it's still there. The poppy seeds add some fun texture haha Pistachio: 2/5 it's not my favorite. It's really thick almost like oat milk? It is literally creamy pistachios. If you're into that get it. I also got to try: S'mores: 3.8/5 it's dairy free and I personally am not a fan of dairy free BUT the flavors are still on point Midnight Chocolate: 4.5/5 also dairy free but it's really really rich. I enjoyed it. Customer service: 4/5 Overall: the flavors are all really strong and true to its ingredients. Solid gelato. read more

I don't like trendy foods and I view the whole gelato craze as being today's most recent trendy food craze. In a few years the gelato craze will likely die and be replaced by some other trendy food craze. Hopefully I'm wrong and it has more staying power than the cupcake craze or the fro-yo craze. Because I love gelato. So I'm skeptical of most gelato shops and I consider myself to be a tough critic. Some gelato shops serve regular ice cream and try to pass the regular ice cream as gelato. Well surprise surprise, this gelato did not disappoint. Dior Di Latte serves up some very interesting flavors. I'm talking about flavors that you've probably never come across before. The girl behind the counter claimed they make all the favors by themselves. Thumbs up. It's located on popular Pearl Street, which seems to be a hot spot for every single restaurant and bar in the town of Boulder ;-) read more

There won't be the plain flavors here but there will be something for everyone. They've covered their bases with the variety. The texture of the gelato is great. Not too icy and not too gooey. Super delicious spot for a nice treat! They have coconut based ice cream in SO many different flavors! I love how they use unusual toppings like roasted cacao nibs :) They have a nice lay out as far as interior design goes and very pleasant and patient staff. Repeat customer and will return soon!! This place has amazing gelato! Granted, I have rarely had unexceptional gelato, but it's always nice to be reassured. I got the gooey buttercake flavor, and it was absolutely divine. I got it in a waffle cone, which was tasty and fresh. The prices aren't bad, and the location is great. It's right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and social life. I would definitely recommend getting a scoop here and then strolling down the street and enjoying the vibes of Boulder. read more

If you want to spend nearly $6 for a scoop of taste-free gelato this is the place for you. Their so-called gelato is also dairy-free which robs true gelato of its taste. This place is a mix of my favorite kinds of treats. Gelato ice cream and coffee! I got a latte and you choose what flavor of gelato you want and they add a scoop of it to your drink! Genius. That being said, do be aware that if you come on a hot day, it does get pretty stuffy in there. At least it was on the day that I went. The teas that I tried were yummy, but my favorites were the strawberry tea and the Lady Grey tea. The afternoon tea featured a variety of little sandwiches, pastries, and scones. It came with a jam, lemon curd and clotted cream for the scones. It was a lot of food so do go hungry. I made the mistaking of having a small lunch before this. The small sandwiches were so delicious! As well as the scones with the accompaniments. The cakes did not stand out to me in any way. If you're looking for a nice little afternoon tea with a friend, this would be a great place for that.
