They have a lot of toppings here and my friends I came with said they would love to go again. I drove halfway across town to come here tonight, only to find the doors locked 30 minutes before closing time. Every resource I checked -- Google, Yelp, even their own page -- clearly says they close at 9. I got there at 8:30, and not only were the doors locked, but the employees were standing inside, staring at me like I was crazy for trying to come in. If you're going to close early, update your hours. It's ridiculous to waste people's time and gas just to be treated like an inconvenience. Unprofessional, lazy, and extremely disappointing. Atmosphere: 5 stars. Place is beautiful on the inside. Modestly busy when I was there but they come and go. Quality: 4 stars. I liked the European tart and sampled many of the flavors but their yogurt tastes no better than Yogurtland to me. I did not try the gelato. Service: 3 stars. Nothing special in the service. There was one thing though, when I asked for a sample cup the lady walked around the counter, asked me what flavor I wanted, and filled the one sample cup for me, one time. I felt like she was yogurt security. Most of the Yogurtlands I have4 been to have the sample cups available and let me try more than one flavor. Value: 4 star. I paid $8 for my yogurt. I didn't catch the weight but usually indint spend more than $5 or $6. So I think this place is 20 or 30 percent higher than yogurtland. More than anything else I feel this place is good for the scene and the variety but is over priced. read more

Love this place. Whenever I come back to Chico to visit friends... I try to make a stop here. The staff is so welcoming. The ace is super clean! There's no rush for us to leave. My friends and o can sit and have froyo and catch up. Even when we are all finished they don't mind is staying to chat. They have a great variety... will definitely come back. Reason for 4 stars is for the boba. I like avocado and they don't have fresh avocado. But if you want froyo, this is the place to go! read more

One week ago from today my friend wanted to grab Boba and she frequents this place so I tagged along. I always fall for the Taro, it's just my personal favorite no matter where I go. So out of habit i ordered that. She went with her normal Green Tea. This place looked like it was geared more towards Frozen Yogurt (hence the name) and honestly I may have to come back to try it cause it looked pretty cool. High School must have just let out because it was crowded with kids. Which i also thought was pretty cool that they didn't get annoyed with the rush. I also ordered like in the midst of all of that and my order was out in a timely fashion. I will say about halfway through I dropped mine on the floor and felt SO bad for the woman working there that had to mop. Yep. That was me. And honestly....thanks for not making me feel horrible for doing it. That makes me want to come back. Oh, right...the drink! Came in today because I felt like having yogurt. I'm a guy that normally wouldn't get sweets for himself. I'm glad I went in before checking out the Yelp reviews, else I would've missed this. I think the ratings are a bit cold (yes, I did). I met the owner, she was very attentive and respectful. I spent a good 5 minutes conversing and looking around before ordering. Although I had my sights on yogurt, I ended up getting a Green tea smoothie with boba! I always get boba (it's soft, jelly, and delicious) when available. I frequent Sacramento tea houses and didn't think I'd find a good establishment in the North, but this place is awesome. I was expecting to pay more but ended up paying less than 4 bucks for one drink! There's a huge selection of toppings to pick from: candy, fruit (very fresh), cookies, etc. As others have mentioned, the store is incredibly clean and shiny. This will be my go to place when family visits over the summer, I'll let them know Chico has more to offer besides Starbucks. Before I left the store, I ended up getting another smoothie for my co-worker because mine tasted so friggin good. I got her a mango boba smoothie. She says it actually tastes like real mango and is the best she's ever had. I don't know what's up with the yogurt melting stuff but my smoothie sat for 40 minutes and was still icy (I put it behind a computer monitor and forgot). Gelato. Froyo. Boba. All in one place. What a stroke of genius. The breakdown: The Froyo - 6 machines means 12 self-serve flavors plus both fresh and dry topping bars. There are more toppings than you know what to do with. A note on the froyo flavors - many of the varieties are made with well-recognized "premium brand" flavors and you can tell the difference. The Boba - Awesome. Taro was my favorite. Not too sweet, perfectly creamy with generous serving of boba. The Gelato - Churned fresh daily (I know this because I asked). There's usually 12 different flavors to choose from. At the time I didn't know what to order so I asked the lady to surprise me. She enthusiastically obliged and gave me a scoop of the banana topped with the fudge icing and Oreo. I normally don't like banana flavored deserts but this gelato made me aware of my ignorance! Both flavors were amazing. I was seriously contemplating getting two more scoops. No joke. The shop is meticulously clean and the environment is perfect for ALL ages. The store is apparently run by a local couple who obviously take pride in what they do. Super friendly, helpful and just genuinely pleasant. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Amazing! I think the only thing I don't like about this place is that its in the place of my former favorite Starbucks! I really like self serve ice cream/yogurt places: you can make it how you want with as much of whatever you want-no paying for each topping! This has the best selection of items of any self serve place I've been. They have a wide variety of yogurt flavors and constantly switch out new flavors (but they keep the red velvet, my fav!). They have a great of selection of toppings-sugary junk of the kids, granola, fruit, syrups. I do wish they had some more fruit. Their gelato is great too! I love the atmosphere: very relaxed, modern, and quite colorful lol. The owners are super friendly also.
