First let me start with I waiting a week before I tried to contact the owner so I could cool off…read moreand not reacted in a hateful manner. We have used Tannenberg Pet Resort two times. The first time was for a weekend and only a few days. We were happy with the way our dog was taken care of and how they were able to fit our dog in seeing they were full. The second time we were not happy at all. We dropped our dog off May 6th 2025 and picked him up after 9:00 am on May 12th 2025. I brought his food and a blanket with us because he is so attached to my husband and wanted him to have something with his dads smell on it. Just so he would feel comfortable while we were gone. We arrived to pick him up the lady at the counter asked if he was scheduled to have a bath and we said yes and she said OK. We paid and she asked for his collar and leash and she would go get him for us. when he was brought out to us his ears were back and He had brush marks in his fur with the strong smell of doggie cologne. (I thought it was just the smell of the dog shampoo until we got home.) She told me he had not ate yet this morning. I said OK I will feed him when we get home. When we took him outside to load him in the truck, he peed a long time then ran to the grass and pooped telling me he had not been out yet that morning. I told the lady that we had a blanket and she said oh let me go get it. She brought it out to me in a bag and said it was in the washer waiting to be washed. I said that is ok I will wash it. the blanket smelled and had something on it not sure what it was. The odor was like it had laid in the bottom of an outhouse. When we got home, he ate right away. He held his ears back for most of the day and was not his playful self. We went outside and came back in and I smelt an odor that was so bad. I cleaned out my trash can clean the garbage disposal. Still the smell was ungodly. Then I bent down to hug my dog and there it was. As a dog owner maybe, I spoil my dog too much and many may not think it is a big deal, but I feel like my dog laid in a cage for 6 days in his own feces. Just a side note our dog has never peed or pooped in the house. He would hold it until someone got home. telling me he pooped and peed in the cage because he had no choice. This is the reason I waited a week before contacting them because every time my dog looked at me, he had sad eyes and I felt so bad for what I let my dog go through. My heart was breaking every time I looked at him. I know if I would have talked to someone the moment I found out where the smell was coming from (by the way we paid for a bath) that I would not have a kind thing to say. all I have to say is shame on the staff at Tannenberg!!!! After speaking to the owner and hearing her tell me what Tannenberg offers and what she expects from her staff I would have written a different review if that was the service my dog received. With that being said I will not be using this business again. I hope this helps open the eyes of the staff and helps them to better themselves and helps fill the expectations of the owner. Also that the owner takes this to heart and fills her staff with people who really care for pets the way a pet owner would.

WARNING‼ ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!…read more*On Thursday October 17th 2019, I dropped off my Zula, my Frenchie, at Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook for 5 days of boarding. *I paid up front for her boarding through Monday. I paid via Cashapp. *On Saturday October 19th 2019, at 5:42pm I looked at my phone and saw that I had two missed calls, a missed FaceTime call, along with a voicemail message from Donald Bolton, the owner of Go Dogs Go. I returned his call and learned of Zula's death. *Bolton told me that Zula along with 6-7 other larger dogs were left unattended in the back yard of his business "for 10-15 minutes" and when he returned, Zula's dead body was being dragged by a particular dog. I had met this dog before so this didn't make sense to me. He was a friendly dog, and he and Zula enjoyed playing together. *Mr. Bolton offered to cremate Zula the next day. I responded that I would pick her up the next day immediately upon landing, and not to destroy my dog. *My flight landed Sunday October 20th at 12:30 pm. I arrived home by 1:45 pm. I unloaded my car with the assistance of four close friends, and went to pick up Zula's body. *The five of us arrived to Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook at approximately 2:15pm *MR. BOLTON BROUGHT ZULA OUT TO ME IN A TRASH BAG! She was soaking wet. He said that he was washing her when we arrived. The sight of my Zula brought out in a trash bag destroyed me. *Bolton spoke graphically about Zula's head being almost ripped off. *Kelly Capasso, the Practice Manager of Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic took the trash bag with Zula's body to her car and brought blankets so that she and her mother would be able to present her to me to say goodbye before Kelly took Zula back to the clinic for autopsy reports. *Mr. Bolton told Kelly to send him the veterinary bill. *Mr. Bolton then told me that when I am ready for a new dog that he would pay for it. I learned later that this was not offered out of kindness, it's the law. There are plenty more frustrating details to this story, but what I need pet lovers to know is that the state of Ohio considers dogs property. Replacement of property is all that I was legally owed. Even though my Zula was left unattended with several large dogs, for hours, there were no criminal charges that could be filed. This was negligent as hell, but I had no legal recourse. Whether our dogs live or die in their care, the facilities remain protected by law AND THEY KNOW IT! All they legally owe us is the adjusted value of the dead pet, which Bolton's insurance has paid. **Mr. Bolton STILL refuses to refund me the money I paid him in advance for dog the weekend she was killed and beyond. . Payments were required in advance for daycare packages.** It's all about money. Beware!! #JusticeForZula Dr. Williams

We've been taking our 8 month old lab/mut mix to GDG for about 3 months now. He is so well behaved, happy, and well exercised since he has started going there. My husband and I work full time, so this is an economical solutions for us to have a happy dog at the end of the day. When we turn down the street approaching Go Dogs Go, you hear the sound of a tail wagging and whines of happiness coming from my back seat, because our pup knows EXACTLY where he is going. He can't get in the doors quickly enough. Thanks Mike and Don!

I will preface this by saying that I did talk to a manager after this and she was very helpful in…read morefinding out what happened and apologetic, however that doesn't correct the actions of the employees throughout the day. I scheduled my two dogs for an evaluation last Friday. I was told to have them there by 9:30am, evaluation at noon, and then pick any time after 3pm. It was around 2:45pm and I hadn't heard anything all day, so I called and was told that my dogs had not been evaluated yet but they were about to within the next 15 minutes, it would take 15-20 minutes to complete, and they would call me when they were done so I could come get them. 4pm came around and I hadn't heard anything, so I just went to get them anyways. When I got there, I immediately could tell something was off. The employee at the counter just stared at the computer for minutes, not saying a word. She then went to the back office for a few minutes, returned to the desk and continued to just be on the computer. I could tell by her body language that something was wrong. She finally walked off to get my dogs, but I heard her call on the radio asking where they even were. When she brought them out, she just handed them to me and didn't say anything. I had to ask if they passed, in which she replied, "no, they were too nervous and you'll have to come back and do it again." She could not give me any details about how they acted or what the evaluation had consisted of. Something didn't feel right about this entire interaction, so I called to speak with a manager. There were no notes on their account, so the manager went to talk to other employees to find out what happened. Turns out they were incorrectly booked and did not receive an evaluation at all, and instead were "day-boarded". I understand that miscommunications happen, but explicitly lying is unacceptable. When I call to check on their evaluation and am told that they are about to do it but then never follow up, and then I pick them up and am lied to again about how their evaluation went. Just tell me they got booked wrong. Or when I called to check on their evaluation, do it then since that should have alerted you that there had been a miscommunication. That's all you had to do. Instead, the employees felt the need to fabricate a story and place the blame on my dogs' behavior instead of their mistake. PetSuites has completely lost my trust in their ability to care for my dogs and I will not be returning.

So this will be my last time receiving service from them.
