So sad, My daughter and I have finally had it with this place. We've been going to Gem Nails every 6ish weeks for about 4 years (ever since they opened). We always get gel sets with designs and occasionally pedicures and we tip REALLY well. So, do the math. That's a lot of money we have spent there, so to be treated like I was yesterday is the final straw. The past 3 months my nails have been breaking, randomly and I keep going in, pay the 5 bucks to get it fixed. This month I had one break...and then 2 more!! It happened 8 days after, similar story for my previous two sets. I call and say nicely like hey I'm gonna come get a pedi, let's look at this and please fix it, it keeps happening. The woman gave me the worst, laziest and most dismissive pedi ever and she didn't even try with the design on the nail she fixed. Compare side by side. Got a gel pedicure yesterday at this nail spa. The pedicure was really nice. Unfortunately, I will have to say it was not the $64+ tax. I am slightly annoyed as the gel polish that was used for mt servive is poor quality. As the nail technician was finishing up, I noticed the polish on my big toe extremely lumpy. He proceeded to fix it buy then we noticed the polish was already lifting and peeling off. He had to redo it. I was putting lotion on my feet last night and noticed there were toe additional toes where the polish was peeling off as well. read more

Staff was very nice. Decided to try this place due to neighbor's recommendation. My nails were cut too short and uneven. Another nail tech tried to fix them, so they did look better than they were but I'm definitely not happy. Most places use a thicker drummel for the heels. They don't. I'm also not sure if they sanitize the tools properly (I saw the guy spray a set down, wipe it off and store them). They do use liners for the pedicure station which definitely is a plus. They also offered me water, which was a nice touch. Like I said, staff was very nice but I think I'll stick with my usual shop. read more

We had come here two weeks ago and had the best pedicures I've ever had and after seeing people post their nails we decided to give it a try. Instant regret. The service was so rushed, he spent more time drilling my skin than my nails, he left massive gaps and when I asked why he didn't go closer to the cuticle he just called everyone over to stare. I tried showing how far the bottom of the acrylic was from my cuticle on three of my nails and he just said he'd add more nail polish but that wasn't going to make them look any better. Several of the nails are so crooked, you can't tell where he was even trying to put them. The skin around my nails was drilled to almost bleeding and now looks crusty and dry because he didn't fix it, let me wash my hands or anything. There's several cuts in my skin and the color was nowhere near what I had asked for. Even when I said they looked horrible and I was unhappy they didn't offer any decent solution and I still left paying full price for the worst set of nails I have ever had. read more

We (three girls) called in advance and made an appointment. One of us got taken care of right away, me and my sister got passed up twice when other people walked in after us and I believe it was because they knew I was wanting Gel and they couldn't talk me into dip and they rather pick someone else who wanted a full set, b/c it was more money. However, not good customer service to not care about the customers time and what they request. However, Tang helped me and I decided to pay her cash tip, and tipped well...maybe consider treating all customers with the same priority. Then you can create new clients that return. Fang did an excellent job and she will take good care of you here. She's the only one who didn't pass us up for other people who came in after us. read more

This new place is beautiful! The atmosphere just feels clean and uncluttered, and the people are very nice and hospital (ie. offering water every time). It is also less crowded and more intimate which makes for a more relaxing environment. They use new file, pummus, & scrubber each visit. read more

My sister and I scheduled 2 pedicures and we came in and no wait. Very clean new place with Lysol wipes at each section, they asked if we would like something to drink. The paint job was great, Larry spent the time to make it perfect. And the massage he gave was top notch. We got gel pedicures and they were $43 before tax. I will be back :) read more

Wouldn't recommend. Came in for a pedicure and a rebase on a set I got done here about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Pedicure was good, but when it came time for my nails the tech was clearly very rushed because he had someone else waiting. I had shown him the set I wanted three times and he never told me that they don't do 3D designs until he was done and I asked about it. Which he lied to me about!! I called the salon today and asked if they do 3D he said YES WE DO! Like seriously?? Then it came to pay, he told me I'm busy now so she is going to check you out, it's 45 for your toes (I got the basic pedicure with gel and a single flower) and 55 for your nails (rebase with gel and two flowers) I say great, use the restroom then go to pay and she has me rung up for "mani pedi" for $117. I of course say well the tech told me it would be this price.... They go on to argue with me for 5 minutes about it, I end up saying whatever. Comes out to $127 before any tip. (High credit card fee??) The prices here are inconsistent, when I came two and a half weeks ago for my full set and pedicure (both gel again) it was only $120. So why it was more expensive coming back for a fill makes no sense to me. I thought I had found a good spot close to home! But I won't be returning or recommending this spot again. I am very upset with my appointment today. My grandma and I brought a friend into the salon that had never had a pedicure before. He was insisting on sitting next to us and not getting a pedicure, rather just going to visit with us. One of the employees was incredibly insistent that he get a pedicure. He was reluctant but when she said "oh no it's free it's your first time I'll give you a quick free pedicure". After massaging him and doing the bare minimum for 20 minutes he was done and my grandma and I got our nails done for the rest of the time. At the end when it came time to pay, the same employee that told us the treatment was free, insisted that she never said that, and lied to us and made a scene within the salon. She charged him for a full pedicure even though she spent less than 20 minutes, barely massaging him. We left very disappointed, we paid for three services and we were lied to and felt scammed. We love this salon but getting cheated and lied to is not acceptable. read more
