I walked in and first thing I noticed was the inside was very clean and very well put together. Then I was greeted and promptly asked what I needed done. I told the man what I was needing and he took my watches and said he had the batteries and could fix them in about in about 15 min total. As I was going to pay he noticed my rings were a little dull and asked me if I would like to have them polished and cleaned up. The service I had done and received were phenomenal and I will definitely be coming back for anything else that I need to have fixed!

Over the last couple of weeks I've taken in…read moreabout 10 pieces of jewelry to be repaired, restrung, resized, cleaned, etc. Two sets of pearls restrung, multiple rings resized or repaired, earrings repaired, tightening of prongs, cleaning, etc. resulting in about $1200 in costs. I also took several pieces of gold jewelry to be sorted by karat and examined to be sold. When I got the offer for the gold it seemed like it could be a very low offer so I had my son pick up the pieces and bring them home. I still had 2 rings to pick up from that point and when I nice MAN called and said they were ready I went to pick them up. I was greeted warmly by Irena (one of the nicest people you will ever meet). Roluca Cohen (the mgr. who had helped me with all of it originally and who gave me the gold offer) was there helping another customer. As Irena was checking me out, my balance was $100, Roluca pipes up, in the middle of helping her customer, and says, "she has a balance!" Irena looked at her a little shocked and back at me. She seemed embarrassed by what Roluca said. I just held up my hands in a shrug. It was insulting. Did she think I was going to abscond with my rings without paying the $100 balance? It certainly sounded like she was concerned. I had planned to have all my other gold rings sold and the stones made into a specially designed ring but I will no longer do it there. I won't patronize their store again. All these positive reviews about how nice "Bob" is with which to work? I never saw a Bob. Maybe he was a previous owner. I'm unsure. I don't know what Roluca's issue was but what started as a positive experience a couple of weeks ago ended so negatively. As my family says, I'm too trusting in the sincerity of some people. This was probably one of those times. FYI: I got a much higher offer for the gold elsewhere.

The chain broke, o ring that held chain to clasp opened up. I took the chain in to ask them to put the o ring back and squeeze shut. I was advised that would cost me $30.00 as it needed to be sodered. i have arthritis in my hands and am unable to hold the tiny pieces with my hands. I went to my sisters (who also has purchased many of jewelry from them) and the 2 of us were able to put the necklace back together. We are both disappointed in their customer service and have both decided to no longer shop with them. My suggestion, go to Diamonds Direct, much better customer service, quality and price.

Daniel provided EXCELLENT customer service, amazing repair skills, and literally saved Christmas for me! I wanted to have my Great Grandmother's ring repaired as a surprise for my Mom. The ring is at least 100 years old, was in very rough shape, missing the band etc. As with most holiday seasons, I let time get away from me and literally walked in on December 23rd in hopes of having the ring fixed at least by the end of December. Daniel not only did an incredible job restoring the ring to perfection, but he got it done for me in FIVE HOURS because he knew I needed it for Christmas. When my mom opened the ring on Christmas day, she was completely blown away and brought to tears. My Grandmother was also there, so she was able to see her mother's ring restored to it's prime. I can not be thankful enough for the time and care I received here, and will always recommend this place to anyone looking for jewelry repair. read more

Generation Custom Jewelers has been providing my family Top Tier craftsmanship and impeccable customer service for many years! The most recent encounter has been the most memorable one for many reasons. I met with Franklin and his team last Monday to ask if he could re-size my deceased Father's 61 yr. old wedding band (turned out to be nearly 3 sizes smaller) so that I could wear it and if he could rebuild my Mother's wedding ring set before we left for my Father's out of town Celebration of Life services. When I arrived for the pick up last Friday, I was beyond speechless and very emotional when he showed me my parent's rings. I was in complete awe and I still am a week later. They sized it .ordered the proper head to accompany my stone and polished it to perfection.. It was done days before I expected it to be done and I'm so pleased.. I am very impressed with this location. I stopped in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon for a simple necklace repair. I was greeted by Liliana, who was very helpful and friendly. She took my necklace into the back and they had it fixed up in less than 5 minutes. I expected to have to leave it there and pick it up later in the week. My heroes!! A different jeweler damaged my wedding ring, which was my husband's grandmothers ring, from Germany. I arrived at Generation jewelry in tears and Daniel spent an entire day making it better than it ever was! He was professional and polite.
