I've waited 5 days to decide to write this review. Over the last couple of weeks I've taken in about 10 pieces of jewelry to be repaired, restrung, resized, cleaned, etc. Two sets of pearls restrung, multiple rings resized or repaired, earrings repaired, tightening of prongs, cleaning, etc. resulting in about $1200 in costs. I also took several pieces of gold jewelry to be sorted by karat and examined to be sold. When I got the offer for the gold it seemed like it could be a very low offer so I had my son pick up the pieces and bring them home. I still had 2 rings to pick up from that point and when I nice MAN called and said they were ready I went to pick them up. I was greeted warmly by Irena (one of the nicest people you will ever meet). Roluca Cohen (the mgr. who had helped me with all of it originally and who gave me the gold offer) was there helping another customer. As Irena was checking me out, my balance was $100, Roluca pipes up, in the middle of helping her customer, and says, "she has a balance!" Irena looked at her a little shocked and back at me. She seemed embarrassed by what Roluca said. I just held up my hands in a shrug. It was insulting. Did she think I was going to abscond with my rings without paying the $100 balance? It certainly sounded like she was concerned. I had planned to have all my other gold rings sold and the stones made into a specially designed ring but I will no longer do it there. I won't patronize their store again. All these positive reviews about how nice "Bob" is with which to work? I never saw a Bob. Maybe he was a previous owner. I'm unsure. I don't know what Roluca's issue was but what started as a positive experience a couple of weeks ago ended so negatively. As my family says, I'm too trusting in the sincerity of some people. This was probably one of those times. FYI: I got a much higher offer for the gold elsewhere. read more

Very disappointed in their customer service! I have bought 4 rings, the last one was just 4 months ago to the tune of $1000.00. I have also purchased 4 bracelets and a chain. The chain broke, o ring that held chain to clasp opened up. I took the chain in to ask them to put the o ring back and squeeze shut. I was advised that would cost me $30.00 as it needed to be sodered. i have arthritis in my hands and am unable to hold the tiny pieces with my hands. I went to my sisters (who also has purchased many of jewelry from them) and the 2 of us were able to put the necklace back together. We are both disappointed in their customer service and have both decided to no longer shop with them. My suggestion, go to Diamonds Direct, much better customer service, quality and price. read more

Wow! Just wow! Raluka was the most helpful and sweet lady I have met in a long time. I had a thick steel ring stuck on my finger for two days that even the fire department couldn't get off. Through sheer grit and determination raluka spent 30 minutes working it off literally sweating by the end. Afterwards I asked her for any kind of recommendation on jewelry and she immediately brought me to my hands down new favorite watch. They have really gone downhill in customer service. Would not warranty a repair that was only 2 weeks old. Took them 2 weeks to respond. Prior to that they tried to keep my layaway deposit. When I changed my mind they had every intention of keeping my $100 until I showed them their own policy That gave refunds within 30 days. I would not trust them. Not sure what to get for that birthday, anniversary or Christmas? You really cannot go wrong here. I have known Bob, the owner, for over 15 years and have made many purchases here as well as repairs. Bob is highly regarded in the Frisco community and is very professional. Bob has a great staff to work with, most of whom have been with him for a long time. They can do custom work if you need it and offer great advice. They recently moved into a larger location on Preston Road just north of Lebanon. The new store is great. Even has a drive through (left over from the previous tenant, a dry cleaner). No you cannot buy diamonds through the drive through but...who knows..someday you might. The last piece of advice I received today was to try the Grilled Cheese Sandwich restaurant that is next door. Apparently they have great sandwiches and cheese fries and are packed at lunch with regular customers. I plan to stop by and see for myself. read more

Classique Jewelers saved my engagement ring! After breaking a prong on my 9 year old engagement ring, I visited a different highly rated jeweler for a fix. I'd never had to leave my ring for any repairs in the past, so needless to say, I was scared and nervous, but trusted the professional and the reviews. What I received back was a completely marred ring, "repaired" by someone whose work was indicative of never having worked with jewelry, complete with damage to other prongs that was not there when I brought it in. I was so scared to ever visit another jeweler, but knew I had to do something -- this was simply unacceptable. Again, trusting tons of positive reviews, I walked into this establishment and explained my situation to Bob & Mandy. Very sympathetic and eager to help, they put a plan in place and assured me my ring was repairable and would look even better than the day I got it 9 years ago. I recently had my husbands luxury watch engraved for my son as a graduation gift. He returned after graduation to have a few links removed and they questioned its authenticity even though they engraved it the week before. It then took over six weeks for them to finish the job. I gave two stars because it was durning Covid restrictions, otherwise it would likely be lower. read more

My husband had purchased a couple of pieces of jewelry for me in the past from this store. We stopped by last Saturday to purchase a ring I saw on their website because we like to do repeat business. Unfortunately, the customer service was awful!! I was disappointed to hear that the rings I looked at are only available online. The staff had absolutely no interest in selling me a ring. They never offered to show me anything else. When they pulled up the ring online all they said was "Oh that's a very beautiful ring". When I spotted a similar-looking ring the salesperson kept calling the stone "sapphire" when it was clearly labeled "citrine". They offered to special order the ring for me but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to buy a ring that day! Which I did ... ELSEWHERE! They have lost my business and referral. After doing a bit of research about a specific brand of fountain pen and ink, Classique was the only retailer I could find in the DFW area. I called and the team of folks was able to give me plenty of information about their inventory. When I stopped by, I was immediately greeted and shown the pens I was looking for. They were gracious enough to look through their stock for specific products and offered to special order a color ink for me they did not have in stock. While I didn't experience the jewelry side of their business, I have to assume with the customer service I was provided they would be an excellent choice for all your jewelry needs and wants! Gets no better than this. Owner (Bob) has been personally involved in three custom-made rings created from elements passed down through my family. Most recent was a 50 year Free Mason pin from my grandfather I wanted converted into a ring. I wasn't certain the gold pin could be converted to a silver nugget ring I wished but Bob assured me he would create a ring to be proud of. Two weeks later I have a ring with something to honor my grandfather that is stunning. On a recent trip to Las Vegas, no less than three people commented on the ring. I've been looking for another battery and watch repair place and came across Classique Jewelers. I called the day before to inquiry what it cost to resize a new watch I just picked up. I spoke to a gentleman named Austin who said it would cost &10 plus tax. It was 5:45p and they close at 6p so I came in the next morning at 10a and it was $10+tax and Austin did the work - great job! I waited and it took about 10 minutes and I was on my way! While I was there I asked Austin what it would cost to do a battery replacement. He said it depends on whenever the watch is pressurized and the level of work but battery price range from $10-$50...which is much cheaper than FastFix. They play that 1 year or 5 year pricing game. I use to go to Fast Fix in Stonebriar Mall but decide after the last time I would look else where. They are arrogant, inflexible and over priced! read more

This silver baby spoon has been used by 4 generations of my family. About 25 years ago it had an unfortunate encounter with the garbage disposal. Because I make most decisions based on reviews from Yelp, I went to Classique because of all of the 5 star reviews and so glad I did. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary this summer and we were looking for either an anniversary band or to have my engagement diamond reset in another ring. We visited other jewelers in the Frisco area and didn't really find "the one" nor did we have a great experience. We went to Classique and met Debbie. She was very interested in knowing more about us to determine what we were looking for. She showed us anniversary bands but ultimately we decided we wanted to put my engagement diamond in another setting. She took the time to show us many options by using another diamond the same carat as my ring to show what the finished product would look like. A week went by and we decided to return. I looked at the original ring Debbie showed us but I wasn't 100% certain it was THE ring. She patiently offered more suggestions until I found what I wanted! The setting she chose was a perfect compliment to my original diamond. A few days later my ring was ready. Classique does everything in house and guarantees their work and diamonds. They also offer a free ring appraisal for insurance. When we picked up my ring I was stunned at how gorgeous it was. The pictures do not do it justice. The setting and my original diamond has the same clarity, which was not revealed until my diamond was appraised. However, it goes to show how these folks are experts in their field. Debbie picked the perfect diamond setting to compliment my diamond and made it the star! A few weeks later we went to Classiques's open house and trunk show. They had the event catered and my husband and I are still talking about how delicious the hors'devours were! There was also a trunk show as well as a raffle. We were also privileged to meet the owner, Bob. He is such a genuine person and spent time meeting and greeting each guest. This is why it is so much better doing business with a small business instead of a big box retailer like Jared or Kay Jewelers. It's the personal connections that ultimately make the difference. Plus the diamonds are exquisite! Do yourself a favor and avoid the big box jewelers and go to Classique. I had called prior to coming in inquiring the price for a battery replacement for a watch. I was told it was $15 for the snap on or pop off kind and $20 for the screw kind. I have a snap on kind and was charged $18. Not a big deal since they were super fast and I think still cheaper than those Fix It Fast places in the mall. I do wish they had told me the price when I was in store beforehand and that the battery it was replaced with was not water resistant since the original battery was. Also wish they had taken the time to do a quick clean with a cloth prior to giving it back to me. It's little things like that that make a huge difference. read more

Recently had to replace a clasp on my trusty old watch. I went to the watch repair place at Stonebriar and was quoted $40 to repair the clasp. Surely, I thought, there was a better, cheaper solution. Classique is that solution! I went here because of the stellar Yelp reviews and boy was I surprised. The lady at the counter was super friendly and even had the watch repairman come out to take a look. He took my watch and disappeared for about 10 minutes. When he returned, instead of repairing the clasp, he straight up replaced it, saying "the old one didn't fit right and will probably fall off again." The clasp was nice and snug and it matched the metal perfectly. The charge? $5. Wow! Pretty amazing stuff, considering it was 8x more at the other place. For those who care, it was on my $500 Bulova watch, which surprised me because I figured it would cost more to replace pieces of it, even just a clasp. Goes to show how overpriced these things are. It's been a few months and the clasp is still holding strong. I'll soon be needing to get another watch repolished/repaired, this is the place I'll be going to! read more

Many years ago I went to Classique and they helped me upgrade my band from the original yellow gold to a white gold set. Just this week I upgraded my diamond from the original to a larger diamond so I returned to Classique to help me. They were great! They were able to set my original diamond in a necklace bad then use my band to set the new diamond in a halo. I never would have dreamed my ring could be so beautiful! I recently got a new watch and needed to get the band resized. After taking a quick look on Yelp, I gave Classique a call and decided to head over after work. Jeff and Jordan provided great service during my visit - while Jordan worked on my watch, Jeff showed me around the store and chatted for a bit. I have relatively skinny wrists, so sometimes it can take a little extra trial and error to get it just right - unlike one of those places in the mall that takes half an hour to *maybe* get it right, Jordan had it perfectly sized up and ready to go in under 10. Better yet, the service was cheaper than a chain too. All in all, I was very pleased with the experience and am glad to know there's a reputable local shop just right down the street if I need something else in the future. read more
