The biggest downside is that diagnosis appointments can be difficult to get, but after trying another Hyundai location, I can understand why they're so booked. I recently attempted to work with the Dixie Highway location, and the experience was disappointing. Coming back to Oxmoor Hyundai reminded me why I continue to return. The service is worth the wait. I was able to schedule my maintenance appointment within the same week, which was a pleasant surprise. I chose to wait instead of arranging a ride, and the waiting area was comfortable with snacks and refreshments available, making the experience much more convenient. I've also been dealing with a frustrating issue since purchasing my car. One tire consistently loses a significant amount of pressure. I've had it checked multiple times and was told it simply needed air, but even after replacing the tires, the same issue continues. I appreciated that the service team allowed me to add this concern to my maintenance appointment instead of requiring me to schedule a separate diagnostic visit. While appointment availability can be challenging, the customer service, convenience, and willingness to help are why I continue to trust Oxmoor Hyundai with my vehicle.

One month later and they diagnosed it with something they didn't even say was wrong with it to begin with. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership or service department. We were complimenting the sales manager for how smoothly they ran things around here, boy did I eat those words. When we settled on the car we wanted, we went through and signed all the necessary paperwork, I was nearly jumping out of my skin with excitement when we signed the paper allowing them to "post a photo shaking your hand in front of your new car." A little while later, we were met with extreme disappointment to find we needed a co-signer in order to be approved. I was hurt and a little annoyed that they went so far with the paperwork despite not knowing if we could actually take it. We got in our car, pulled to the other end of their lot, we made a few calls and found a co-signer. We were gone for less than 5 minutes. We pull back in, hopeful tears in my eyes, to give the information for our co-signer. They started processing it and we waited over an hour to hear an answer. I'm in disbelief when after all this time, I finally heard the word "yes". My mother is who was approved as the co-signer, they said they just needed her to come sign a paper and we are good to go! My mother is a care giver to my disabled step dad so she had to ensure everything was safe at home before she made the trip to help us get our car. After only 30mins of waiting on my mother, we were called into an office, at 3:30pm, to tell us they sold the car to someone else, who test drove it after us at 1pm. They said their company policy is "first come first serve" but I guess they mean "whoever can give us the money the fastest" because they will apparently sign papers and do financing for the same vehicle for multiple people at the same time. I cannot begin to express the disappointment, the heartbreak. I don't want to speak on my personal life and mental health, but simply, the mental burden this experience has been to me is unreal, but what's even more unreal is hearing the talk amongst the salesman that this is the SECOND time they've done this to someone THIS MONTH. To the salesman, Dan Defler and the new cars sales manager Nick Dampier, that robbed us of our vehicle and our incredibly kind, humble and patient salesman Malick of the commission he deserved, I mean this in the most disrespectful way possible, screw you.

***************UPDATE*******************…read more Update: After posting this review, I was finally put in touch with the sales manager, Zack. Unfortunately, the conversation only reinforced why I felt compelled to leave this review in the first place. After weeks of trying to resolve this privately through text messages, phone calls, and voicemails--with little to no response--the only thing that finally got the dealership's attention was this review. Rather than working toward a solution, I was accused of "blackmailing" the dealership simply for sharing my experience publicly. During our conversation, Zack told me it was my own fault because I "couldn't read a contract," despite the fact that I signed paperwork accepting responsibility for a ceramic coating product that I was never actually provided, while also signing paperwork stating that I did not want to purchase any additional products. Instead of acknowledging the obvious contradiction or addressing my concerns, I was called a liar, talked down to, belittled, and treated as though I was stupid. At one point, he even said, "do you think I'm not gonna take every opportunity I can to make more profit," which made it clear where his priorities were. He also told me, "it's not my fault you can't read," and then hung up on me after telling me I was no longer welcome to do business with the dealership. I never wanted this to become a public issue. I gave the dealership multiple opportunities to make things right before leaving a review. Instead of resolving the concern professionally, I was met with hostility and disrespect. Before choosing to do business here, understand that this was my experience with the management responsible for handling customer concerns. If this is how a repeat customer who purchased a $90,000 vehicle is treated after raising a legitimate issue, I think potential buyers deserve to know. ---------------------- I have purchased multiple vehicles from BMW Louisville over the years, but after this experience, I won't be returning. When I purchased my $90,000 BMW M3, I made it very clear to the finance manager that I did not want to purchase any additional products. Despite that, a ceramic coating package was added to my bill of sale without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, I never actually received the ceramic coating service or product that I was charged for. I'm not including the price to be Braggadocious, more so for the fact that trying to sneak on a $600 charge on to purchase when it's already at that balance, it seems so ridiculous to me. After discovering the charge, I contacted the dealership multiple times. The finance manager acknowledged the issue and assured me that I would receive a refund. It's now been another two weeks since that promise was made, and I've still received no refund, no follow-up, and no resolution. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a dealership handles them. In this case, the lack of transparency, accountability, and follow-through has completely destroyed my trust. It's extremely disappointing, especially considering I've been a repeat customer and have spent a significant amount of money with this dealership. I cannot recommend BMW Louisville based on my experience, and I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. PS- Chris Pike in sales was wonderful, and always has been. Julia in finance was not.

Although they deserve rating in minus but since its not an option I was forced to do a one star rating. I had a cracked windshield in my 2022 X5, I was vising Louisville so called this dealership. I told them I have insurance with $0 deductible(this is the key information to remember. Dropped off my SUV on Thursday evening and asked over the phone about the cost and was told $2485. Got a call from Dawson service advisor next day that my car will be ready in 3 hours and how will I like to pay. I thought may be they don't deal with insurance so I told him I can give him my cc number. He wanted to drop off the car and pick up loaner which was not an option at that time for us. I got a text from my cc company and when I checked my card was charged $6485.92 so I called Dawson and told him I had windshield repaired on the same car last year and it was no more than $2000 and he said that's Chicago and this is Louisville. Next day July 4th service was closed but sales was open so went to drop off car and I was given an invoice for $4700, so I inquired why I was charge $6485.92 and I was told to call Service director. I called service director at 8 am on July6th and left a message for his assistant Daniel. In return got a call from Dawson and he said I had reduced the invoice and it had been really crazy here and I don't know what was he mumbling and for all the inconvenience, he said he will do the wind shield for even $4000. so I asked him to send me an invoice with paid on it so I can submit it to insurance. In a split second he said you know what, because of all the trouble I have gone thru, he will do the wind shield repair for $3163.68 and will issue a credit for 3322.24. Now I have three invoices from them, $6485.92, $47$$ and $3163.68 This guy knew I had $0 deductible and thought I won't care but this a fraud and a highway robbery out in day light. I am going to write a letter to BMW head quarter and have there invoices publish in newspaper for the same repair. If you are heading to this dealership, please do your homework, they will increase the price as they want to just rip you off. Now even if I need repair, I am going to have my car towed to Chicago if I have to but will avoid this dealership at all cost. I wanted to put all three invoices here but it has my personnel information on it.

I called the original dealership to get a new tire but I wouldn't be able to get in until 4 days later. I live about 15 minutes from Bachman, so I gave them a call. I ended up talking to Ethan and he took some information and after a while said that he had the right size in a different brand if I wanted it quickly. When you're talking a consumer vehicle like an Equinox, a tire is a tire, so I said that's OK. I mentioned that they didn't have available service appointments until late Friday or Monday and I didn't really want to have to keep putting air in the tire. Ethan said, "Tell you what...when can you come in? We'll manage to get you in to it'll be fixed before the weekend". I arrived at 10am the next morning and met Ethan, who took some information and my keys. I went to the customer waiting area while they replaced the tire. I expected a couple hour wait so I brought my work laptop so I could be productive. The customer waiting area is enormous, with probably twenty chairs for those whose cars needed attention. There's a snack vending machine, a soda vending machine, and coffee and water available. There is also available power and a couple computers for use while waiting. On the wall, an 85" television tuned to Rachael (well, except for me. I just put in my earbuds and listened to jazz music). Free wi-fi is available for those needing a connection. The chairs were comfortable, if a bit low, but once I sat down I didn't plan on moving. About an hour-and-a-half later Ethan came out called my name. The care was done! Conveniently the cashier's desk is located immediately adjacent to the waiting room. I sign a couple pieces of paper and pay them the $230 for the tire and I am OUT the door. This was my first service experience with Bachman and everything went great. From Ethan fitting my into a crammed schedule to the 3 minutes it took me to check out, I have no complaints! I think I know where I'll be bringing my Equinox for services!

There is a major upselling pressure that has not been the case in the past. I did not request a fuel additive and it was not specified in my maintenance schedule. I went for an A7 but they did a B1 and also the fuel additive. I asked that it be removed. At the bottom of my invoice, they added the phrase "Deleted operation: fuel additive" but did not take the charge off the invoice. The service person pointed to the phrase and said, "Here's where we took it off." I was told that the A and B services were exactly the same, except that the B service includes the additive. This is not apparent in the owner's manual nor online. I don't know if the labor charge I paid was inflated due to the inspection that B service includes, which I did not ask for and which is not specified in the A7 service description) but the additive is completely unnecessary, as modern gasoline formulations already include the same ingredients. I was also told that "Honda recommends fuel additives with each oil change." Fuel and oil are completely separate mechanical systems that act independently of each other, although both obviously influence function. If what was meant was that "at each oil change we sneak the fuel additive charge onto your bill," then I see what they mean. BUT: in fact, Honda says NOT to use fuel additives, especially not in a hybrid and not in a car with such low mileage (see below). This appears to be a story cooked up by this dealership to boost profits, at the possible cost of damaging your car. Which you will bring to them for service to fix. Also was pressured into a tire rotation, also not part of the scheduled maintenance. Mileage is 7K and I already had one done at 4.8K. She said that it was recommended at 7K miles and I didn't think it through...it had not been 7K miles since the last one; she was stating my current mileage, not the miles that had passed since the prior rotation. Normal advice is to rotate between 6-8K. Service person said it needed to be every year and the car is two years old. I don't see why undriven tires would need to be rotated on a time basis rather than a mileage basis. I didn't even need the rotation I got at 4.8K in the first place. This is on me; I was not on my toes when talking to the service person. There were actually two recalls for this car. She only mentioned one of the two to me, one that would take up to five hours which I could not do today. However, the second recall regarding the tire repair kit could have easily been added to my ticket. 2) The service person was very nice, polite, cheerful, seemingly helpful and collegial. We actually liked her very much. In fact, this should be seen as a fundamentally adversarial relationship, since their goal is to push unnecessary service on you while charming you with warmth (and fast talk). I should have resisted the social pressure from this extremely nice person. Be very wary. Remember that they are not your friends, even though can be very friendly. Stupid me. This from the internet: For a Honda CR-V Hybrid with only 7,000 miles, you do not need to use a fuel additive at all, whether it is timed with an oil change or not.Your vehicle features a highly efficient, modern direct-injection hybrid engine. At this incredibly low mileage, your fuel injectors and intake valves are still virtually pristine. Honda explicitly recommends against using aftermarket fuel or oil additives. They state that modern fuels already contain the necessary detergents to keep your engine clean.Potential Risks: Many generic "Fuel Power" or upper-cylinder lubrication additives change fuel viscosity. For modern direct-injection systems, this can disrupt the precise spray pattern of your injectors, actually accelerating carbon buildup and causing rough idling over time. The Hybrid Factor: Because your CR-V spends a massive portion of its time driving in EV mode with the gas engine completely shut off, your fuel system experiences far less continuous heat and wear than a standard gas car.
