    I was gonna buy from here anyway, but they made it pretty painless. After many series of unfortunate events, I was hoping for at least another year and a half with my old car....but alas that was not to be. I have a personal friendship with an employee here, but I have sent plenty of people to him and they have been more than happy with the service he provided them. So I obviously trusted Christopher to be honest with me, get me the best deal I could get, and not yank my chain around or try and up-sell me. Now, with personal experience buying from him, I can doubly recommend having Christopher be your car-buying guide. Stock of used cars was low, what with folks buying more with the low low interest rates. Still, there were several options to look at that fit my requirements. This was my first time buying a car for myself, by myself. And I was nervous. But I knew I had my money in order and my general shiz together. I put down more than I needed to, which made the protection/maintenance packages within reach of my monthly costs. The credit check, paperwork, and endless signatures took more time than anything else, but you want to be well informed and thorough. All this to say, Christopher made the shopping experience (especially considering were are mid-pandemic still) as pain-free as possible and I left with a shiny, new-to-me, working car and a monthly payment well within my means. I highly recommend you visit him if you are in need of some new (or new-to-you) wheelz!

There'll be hours of waiting around, of negotiating, frustration before I threaten to walk out, and then somebody always loses. It's a process I dread. But this place is different. We went to Hyundai of Louisville after having a bad experience at another Hyundai dealership the previous evening. I was expecting more of the same, but Adam made the process easy and actually (dare I say it?) enjoyable. I told Adam how I much I was willing to pay, he said ok, I left with a car. This DOES NOT happen. It took me about five minutes to sign the agreement because it seemed way too easy. "Wait," I said, "we're supposed to negotiate more. You're supposed to tell me that's an unreasonable price and then we fight... what's the catch??" To Adam's credit, he did offer to crumble some papers and stomp away angrily if that would make me feel better. Even during the long process where the paperwork was being finalized, we weren't left alone to wonder what was going on. Someone was constantly coming over to update us and to sit and chat for a bit. We were also taken over to the service department to meet the service manager who was also incredibly welcoming and helpful. (Seriously what are they putting in the coffee here??) We left only a couple of hours later with a brand new car and a new way of thinking about car dealerships, as well as with some new friendships! Many thanks to Adam, Tony, John and everyone that made this experience so easy and awesome! You've earned some loyal customers!

Oil was full, immediately called BECKY (she must be used to screwing people over), said there is nothing I can do about it now, we are closing in 30 minutes. Told me to call at 9:30, after spending the last $600 on our CC by renting a vehicle to get back/forth to work, called BECKY she stated her father had gone to OH to pick up a vehicle & will have to wait til he gets back. Waited the 3rd day and did not s/w BECKY until 2 pm but I was told I was on the top of her list. She told me that I could use the vehicle as a trade in, that they would give me a little $$, asked about the taxes/plates that after 6 wks I had not received yet, BECKY stated that money was already gone that the plates were there. I will be suing Rockford Lane Auto Sales for every penny and more. They lie, the tax money they put in their pocket until you have made enough payments and haven't had to call you for a payment. It disappoints them when you live up to your obligations because they do not!! I would not buy from this lot, they have nothing but junk on their lot and will bend over backwards to screw you to the wall!!!!

So, I have experienced the purchasing process with two VW dealerships and had service interaction with three dealerships in the Louisville Metro area. Of the three dealerships, I like this one the best. During the purchase process, we received a better deal on the car and were given more options at a lower price. In addition, the service personnel here are very transparent and communicative. I've had no issues with them or with the car after bringing it here for service. After servicing a different VW at another dealership, I had issues with the car. Took the car to a trusted mechanic, who told me the major incorrect thing that the dealership service had done to my car. Their VW service never responded to my OR my mechanics' phone calls or voicemails. So, I'm never, ever taking any vehicle to the dealership off Hurstbourne. With my 2024 GTI, Service personnel at a different dealership tried to encourage me to have a "preventative alignment" at additional cost (which was not part of my complimentary oil change) and claimed that they should be done on my car model every year. This obvious money grab just angered me. Two other nefarious actions on separate visits soured my taste for the service at that Indiana dealership. In summary, over the years I've interacted with purchase and service at three VW dealerships in the Louisville region. In my experience, the personnel and service at Neil Huffman has been the best by far in all aspects of vehicle purchase and service.
