It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. All the usual Chinese American dishes were meh. The soups looked questionable and there was no way I was trying the sushi, so I can't comment on that. Desserts seemed ok. There were some packaged ones like crème puffs. Really liked the watermelons though - they were sweet. I would highlight that the people who work here are friendly and pleasant, which was a big plus. So overall, I thought it was a good price $15.99 for dinner for this type of quality. Note that there's a 3.5% charge for credit cards. I honestly do think a lot of people would likely enjoy it -the number of patrons there proves that. It may not be for me, but it might be for you.
