Genghis Grill has good food. You add what you want to your "Bowl" and they cook it up. Make sure to add the extra sauces (easy to forget) and pile the food high! With only one (1) visit to through the line, I feel like it's a little pricey for what you get. Having the option to go through the line again, would be nice. You do get to make your bowl exactly how you'd like it though, so it's hard to complain. They also have "pre-made" options, if you just want to order your bowl, without going through the line. There is literally something for everyone. My kids really enjoy watching their food cooked on the large, round cook top.

The pros- if you create your own bowl, you get to pick exactly what you like. That's pretty much a guaranteed win. The ingredient selection is big, so lots of options. There are pre-made selections on the menu, and those looked good as well. It's fun to see your food being cooked on the grill. The biggest pro- it's really yummy! Now, the cons- it's a little on the pricey side- the medium bowl was around $15. The raw meat is unappealing, but that's kind of expected, and that issue goes away before you eat. The service, while friendly, is pretty slow.

So it's hard to lower my already poor opinion of service. But this place has managed to "succeed". We stopped going here about over a year ago (pre-Covid) because they were raising prices and making portions smaller almost on a monthly basis. And during our last visit the service was almost non-existent. We though we're would give it another try after church today. What a mistake. Don't order the Dynamite Shrimp. They are not. Four over cooked shrimp on a skewer laying on a bed of cabbage. Don't expect to see your waitress again after she takes your order, they are congregated at the hostess stand all in their phones. If you need refills on water or lemonade; you can take your glass to the bar, but she will tell you she'll get to you in a minute (she is scrolling through her phone too). Food okay, service was deplorable.

Awesome food! Not much of a wait! Definitely coming back. Compare this to an Asian style subway but instead of getting a sub you get stirfry

Our server was phenomenal (forgot his name ) and brought me a menu that had all dietary restrictions listed when I asked if he knew what items would be gluten free or not. Which, the chef / owner was walking around and came over to tell me that he could probably accommodate anything that wasn't listed as gluten free by using different sauces or ingredients. It was so refreshing to feel so taken care of when it comes to an allergy! My boyfriend and I ordered the Akaushi Ribeye, Half Roasted Chicken, and the Glazed Mushrooms to split. The flavors were spectacular! Everything paired so well together. The steak was the perfect rare (our preference) and the skin on the chicken was absolutely mouth-watering. The perfect balance of slightly crisp while the chicken was still nice and juicy. I'm still dreaming about it . The mushrooms paired beautifully with both the steak and all the flavors that came with the chicken! Everything was absolutely exquisite. The ambiance, the plating, the service, the flavors. 10/10. The dumplings, shrimp rolls, and spring rolls just fine. Did not care for the cream cheese wontons. Greasy and The cheese had an odd consistency. The teriyaki chicken was overcooked and dry. Not nearly enough sauce. The sesame chicken was not enjoyable. Over breaded, chewy-- over sweet orange- like flavor. Service is mind-boggling how you order at the table from QR, get your own water at the front. We dined family style and the plates came out in a somewhat randomly. Staff was not inclined to remove plates as our table filled up. Pay at the front at conclusion. Bit overpriced. 2.5*

Generous portions, too. The service was off somehow. Waitress came for our orders and I placed mine. Spouse asked for a couple more minutes to decide. Didn't see her again til she brought my dish. She set it down and turned to go. Spouse had call her back to give her her order. Odd to say the least. The place only seats 14 and it wasn't half full. Empty water glasses weren't refilled. Didn't get a check so went to the counter to pay and found her deep into a text message until I got her attention by coughing. Maybe she was just having an off day. The food was good enough that we'll definitely give it another shot.

So much so that I have learned to make it at home. L D Asian's lacked curry flavor and that nice yellow color that we are used to seeing. Not bad, but not recommended and certainly not the best in Tulsa. In all fairness, L D Asian's may be an authentic version of the Hong Hong dish, but just different than what we are used to. I studied the online menu and found three items that were new to me: Kam Heong Chicken, Samei Chicken and Asam Chicken. Do you know what they are? The restaurant does not provide any description. Thanks to Wikipedia and Google I was able to decode two of the three dishes. The restaurant needs to put descriptions on their menu. I chose the Asam Chicken, because Google described it as tart and spicy, made with tamarind and chilis. My kind of dish. It was excellent. Fresh tomatoes, okra (surprise), green beans and onion in a tangy spicy broth. Similar in taste to Siracha Chicken. I like this! Minimal service and matching decor. The restaurant is primarily set up for takeout. Order at the counter, the food is delivered to your table. The interior of the restaurant is functional, adequate, with booths, tables. Very limited drinks (bottled sodas). Try it and compare it to your preferred Asian restaurant.
