I had some issues with my previous groomer and Taylor was very empathetic to my concerns and was able to address them which was evident when I picked Benny up. I took my 15 y/o Shih Tzu/Maltese in today for the first time. She was a hot mess. And to add to that, she hates getting groomed. I kept expecting a text or call to have me pick her up because she was unmanageable. Instead I got a text saying she'd be ready after only an hour and a half! She is just beautiful and not at all traumatized. This is my 2nd experience with Gentle Hands, having taken in my 14 y/o Shih Tzu/Miniature Poodle in last month. My experience with him was wonderful as well. He wasn't a mess, like my girl was, just needed a groom. He was finished in an hour! I haven't been able to find a groomer I am not only this satisfied with, but overjoyed to have found, in Henderson in the 6 years I've lived here. I LOVE that they don't crate their clients; I think that helps a lot with pups' anxiety levels. They get to socialize. I also appreciate how really gentle and caring they are with my 2 seniors. Brought our small long-haired dog here for the first time. She had a few matted spots near her ears. At pick up, they communicated that our dog was very vocal about the process of brushing them out... yes she'll be vocal because that HURTS! Why not cut them out instead if the dog is visibly in pain during the process!! So upsetting. I very much regret bringing her here. read more

I love this place! The owner and groomers really care about the well-being of my dogs and Grooming to me likes. The Grooming area is clean, and the few pages that are there are for dogs that do not get along with other dogs. The price of grooming is reasonable and in line with other groomers. One of my dogs is a small pomeranian. His thick coat makes him difficult to groom. They did a great job, and I'll be back. read more

Took my dog here for service and they were incredible. I have a rescue that does not like to be groomed and very temperamental with strangers. In fact we had been asked by a previous groomer not to come back because he was too difficult to groom. But Taylor and her mom are incredible with the animals and have now groomed Louie twice without incident. I think it's a testament to the time and care they put into the service and making sure the dogs are comfortable and feel safe in that environment. Highly recommend. read more
