Used to bring our baby boy Marley here. They were so gracious even after lil Marley decided to bite one of them (After all this time, I'm sorry) :( He was very difficult to groom. Also at the time we didn't know that he was battling nasal carcinoma which eventually took him from us too soon :( Fast forward to 2024-2025, we now have another baby boy Shih Tzu. I love bringing him here because they love ALL the fur babies and take such great care of them. Our lil one always looks so handsome and smells so good after his appointments. Today was my first time at Paws R Us. I'm very particular about how I like Cookie's hair done. Ted listened & did exactly what I wanted. In the past, my experience with groomers hasn't been good. I like Cookie to be cut like a traditional Shih Tzu, which means her hair needs be left longer on the face/head/ears. Other groomers would butcher her, even after I beg them not to. I can't tell you how happy I am with Paws R Us. Ted was so patient, even Cookie liked him. (YOU may not like the way Cookie's face is trimmed but this is what I requested. Buyer Beware! If you love your dog, you may want to rethink bringing him/her to Paws R Us. Poor time management, your dog may take from 1 to 5 hours depending on how overbooked or rushed they are. Grooming quality questionable, maybe the language difference plays a role and you may not get what you ask for. The last time our dog was groomed, he was traumatized and was shaking, a bit feverish from stress, lost his appetite and was not himself. He was sensitive to touch and was lethargic for days. He was afraid with a broken spirit and I fear mishandled. They can be a bit rough with your dog in the way they handle them and brush them. Our dog is sweet and sensitive and not used to that treatment, almost akin to abuse. Please search out another groomer and read Google and Yelp reviews. They had 17 1 star reviews on Yelp that I wished I read beforehand. read more

I've came here 5x now, noticed how in a rush they were last time and decided to give them another shot. They handed me a botched puppy, all wet still and when i called as i'm in the car bc i noticed his head so botched "owner" hung up on me and went "ugh" i told her i'm not driving all the way back to get it fixed and they shouldn't take more than they can handle if they're going to rush. Took my Siberian Husky in for a grooming and what a big disappointment. They did not brush and de-shed my husky at all. I felt like they only give my husky a bath, nail clip, and trimming around the ears. Did not do any type of brushing. For the price I paid, I expected them to de-shed my husky. read more

I dropped off my dog for a nail trimming, wash, and deshed. As soon as he comes out he still has hair falling off him and didn't look like they deshed him at all! Then I noticed he was soaking wet....listen to this....THEY GAVE HIM BACK TO ME COVERED IN HIS OWN PISS. They barely speak good English so trying to communicate with him about what happened was terrible. They let the dogs run around everywhere, the crates are too small and the dogs get out. Picked this placed based on the reviews but unfortunately I did not have the same experience. I called to make an appointment the day before and had asked how long the service would take I was told 1hr-1.5hrs so I booked the appointment. Upon arrival they had 2 dogs on the tables for service and what appeared to be 3 little dogs in crates. They took my dog and I had again asked how long I was told "a couple hours" to which I had reiterated what was said on the phone (1hr-1.5hrs) they say ok we'll call you. Over 2 hrs goes by, no call and I have to go to work so I went to pick her up under the premise of what was told to me. I get there she STILL hasn't been washed or anything... I'm then told another 20 mins. They quickly washed her and never did her teeth which was requested from the day prior. I finally get my dog who had just been sitting there for 2 hrs (why make an appointment? Why would I want my dog just sitting there for hours scared?) and her eyes were completely blood shot. Do not recommend, they lie about appointment times and how long it will take, your dog will sit there for hours for no apparent reason other than this company doesn't know how to properly time manage and doesn't value the dogs or the customers time. All the while your dog is stuffed in a crate with no water for hours on end read more

This place has gone down since the first time I took all my dogs here. The customer service is terrible. If they don't like what they hear, they will hang up on you. I brought my dog here asking if they do flea baths and the lady that took my appointment said yes. I have been going here for years. I referred my brother. And they dropped and traumatized his dog. It's very hard to find a groomer in my area that A) isn't booked 3 months out, and B) isn't overpriced. My Shihtzu Wilson is a young dog that hates being brushed. We were using my veterinarian office for grooming for pure convenience. They never listened to my suggestions, and twice, they forgot to trim ALL of his nails. For the price I was paying, for an 11 pound dog, it was ridiculous. I went on Yelp to get some direction on finding a new spot. I was hoping for a mobile groomer, but they were all booked out for 8 weeks plus. When I saw a spot close to home, I was more than happy to try it. Ohmygoodness, I walked in to make an appointment and immediately was greeted by happy dogs getting trimmed, and no cages more importantly. I loved the dogs being up front and witnessing the care of the fur babies. Wilson HATES grooming. He wasn't nervous around these happy dogs and humans. It took less than 2 hours for his grooming, and he was up front in a dog playpen when I came to pick up. All in all, I am MORE than happy.
