For your own health, stay away from this place. I recently visited this location for the first time and ordered a smoothie. I should have known something was up as it took quite a long time for them to make the smoothie. No worries, I'm not in a hurry. No big deal. However, as I'm drinking my smoothie I'm realizing that there are chunks of something in the drink that aren't ice or fruit ... but plastic. That's right. I had small bits of red plastic in my smoothie. I of course stopped drinking the smoothie and threw it away. My guess is that they use a red silicone spatula or spoon to stir smoothie ingredients while blending them in the blender. Again, visit this establishment at your own risk. I imagine if the staff is careless enough to grind up bits of plastic in your smoothie, they probably aren't to great at their food handling skills either! read more

Truly at a loss for words that my previous review has been taken down. It's just red flag after red flag for fresche in my opinion. From unsatisfactory food to a whole refrigerator in the front of the house packed to the brim with kombucha that had been expired for months. This doesn't exactly seem like a problem rooted from employees rather the management. Employee have no control over the materials they are given rather they are instructed to make due with the inferior products which they have been provided. I come in 1-2 times and week and today was my last visit. The kids who work at this location act as though I'm a compete inconvenience being there. Last week I ordered a Go Green, large, with tip that was $14. I over heard the gal in the back "say when I makes these they come out wrong, look at this it's so watery." Her coworker mentions that perhaps she added too much apple juice. I sit and sit thinking oh she made it again because holy cow I've been waiting forever and I'm the only customer. My bowl finally arrives and it's soooouuuupy. I go to the counter and calmly inform her that my bowl is purely liquid. She replies "yeah that's because I added too much apple juice" I sit and wait for her to say "let me make you a new one" or something but she just looks at me. It was totally awkward. Finally I ask if there's anyway she can make me a new one. She does. Why if she knew and her coworker knew that the bowl was unsatisfactory would they still serve it? Also, the music being played was completely inappropriate f-bombs and all. Today I go in. Again the two kids look absolutely miserable. I order my bowl, he flips the Square around, nothing said and walks into the food prep area. I only sit outside now because the interior vibe sucks the life out of you! The gentleman comes out with ear buds in and delivers my bowl and says have a nice day. I go to say thanks you have one too but he gone like flash. Such an unfortunate situation. I have to be honest and say every time i have been here it was a good experience. There is nothing particularly amazing about the menu. I prefer the chain juice shops i hate to say. The last three times i have been there the guy after me had their order messed up. Maybe mine was messed up too and i didn't realize. My issue is the attitude the workers have when a mistake is made. Doesn't matter who did it. Fix the order and apologize don't argue about it. And this isnt the same employee doing this. That is the strangest thing i have seen. What about customer service? Like i said. My service has always been fine. It does seem like it takes them longer than other places to make the orders. And ten dollars for a smoothie is highway robbery. But i would expect a place that argues with customers to also have extremely high prices and long wait times on orders. Place is clean. Internet is free but buggy. I was just passing by and saw this place and immediately wanted to try it. I order the most recommeded bowl considering it was my first time there. It was the Strawberry Passion. With nuts, pinapples, stawberries on top. It looked good until I had some. I dont know, maybe its old fruit but needless to say, I won't be getting this anymore. The fruit had like a funny taste to it, especially the pineapple. I dumped most of my toppings onto the ground cause I couldn't get past the taste. Their mediums are huge! I couldn't even finish mine. Came here on a Saturday early evening, around 5. No one in line in front of us, but it still took a good 10-15 minutes to get our bowls. Not the end of the world, but slightly inconvenient. Once we received them, though... I got the Tropical and the mister, the Original. I think I might have liked mine better, but his was pretty tasty as well. Delicious granola. Super sweet, but only natural sugars. When we were waiting, we saw one of the girls leave with a bunch of reusable grocery bags, and come back from Sprouts about 20 minutes later with two bags completely full. Acai is the new froyo? I joined the line for a free acai bowl mostly because I never queue for free anything and thought my bucket list should include doing so just once. The atmosphere is sort of the mullet of snack shops: Jamba Juice-like in the front and medical-office-like in the back. For a while in the line, I was worried that I'd accidentally queued for free botox or pedicures or weird treatments that involved cucumbers and mild electric currents. The acai bowl, when finally achieved, was really good. It's sweet-tart in a refreshing way -- it does actually taste roughly the red-purple shade that it is -- as it's basically a fruit smoothie soft-serve. The five-ounce bowl comes with slices of banana, berries, and a sprinkling of granola that's useful for absorbing the last melted bits of soft-serve. In the relentless sun of suburban Tempe, it has the magic taste of feeling about five years younger, deeply wise and earnest (if not actually in touch with the spirit of yoga masters), and in need of flowing garments with fringes. When not a free offering, these are ungodly expensive. They're probably also little calorie bombs on the same scale as froyo. If I were at this shopping center again, I'd have another on my own dime because Tempe is, for me, a vast beige suburban wasteland of dehydration that I need Calories of Refreshing Happiness to endure, and these calories are extremely refreshing and happy. If it were where I change buses on the way home from work, though, it wouldn't be a habitual stop. read more

My only reason for 4 stars and this is strictly bc I'm picky.... their sign outside said "thrive" so I was driving around in the parking lot looking for the business since a car was blocking the window and I could not see their sign. So the owner took my order today. My points showed I get a free "bowl". However I never order the bowls because I always get a smoothie. I get a smoothie multiple times a week, I pay $1.50 "each" for 3 boosts and my smoothie always comes out to $13-$17. Fine. The owner comes out with a bowl. I told her kindly that I did not order a bowl. She passively aggressively says "oh, you did not say you wanted a smoothie. I'll just go back a start over I guess. It's fine". After that embarrassing moment I waited there as she re-made my order and rather fast so thank you for that... I was left with a sense that the ladies she hires are better customer service people then her herself as the owner is. She acted entitled. And for the record- I did ask for a smoothie. However, when somebody has rewards that come up and that they have earned, you should say something, so if I did, in fact order a bowl than I shouldn't have had to pay for it because my reward was a free bowl. She did apologize after but I hope this review humbles her. Because though you own a business it does not give you the right to speak to your customers that way. I order the original without blueberries and the 1st time the guy gave me a runny smoothie in a bowl and when I took it back in he said that's how it's supposed to be but just added more juice.... ok? And then just today I ordered the same thing and the açaí was right but the bananas are disgusting, frozen mushed and old. Every time I come here I ask for walnuts added to my bowl & I pay the extra $1 and they ALWAYS forget. I don't know why I keep asking for walnut if they always forget to the add ons. This is my go to açaí place. The people who work here are friendly and the bowls are generous and delicious. The reason for my 2 star review is the lack of protective masks. The staff members were not wearing masks or gloves while handling my food. The tables have not been adjusted for Covid-the are directly next to each other. I sent a message to the owner to ask about masks and did not receive a response. We are in the middle of a pandemic so you would think a place that sells healthy food would at least do the bare minimum to protect their customers and staff. read more
